Lots of the trails in BC are on logging land. The loggers work with the mountain bikers to keep the trails rolling. Very different from the US where everyone hates each other. So sad.

Spent most of the Summer thinking we'd escaped it, but now there's a couple big ones burning closer to here. One down by Mt Rainier where there's a ton of great riding/skiing and it's at 57,000 acres now. :(
I am curious and would like to know on the riders riding with you, they have high skills & do they pro athlete like you? How you guys make this ride as daily jobs and how you earn income?
I would hit that like a PBJ..... As in I would be spread all the way down the trail, being a tattered skeleton at the bottom. Lovely video again, but so far outside of my comfort zone.
Correct. That is why they are so good.... I spent hours searching for trails. Sometimes I would find them, sometimes I got skunked. All part of the process. If every trail was on Trailforks, every trail would be blown to bits. Riding any trail is a privilege and it is up to the builder to make them public knowledge, or not. The builder doesn't owe me or you anything. Some trails are in the book, others are word of mouth.
I live in Nelson and am a member of the trails club. A big portion of the budget comes from sales of the trail guide. While I think TF is a great app and use it myself, the money from the guide sales goes back into building and maintaining the trails. Nice style on one of the burlier trails in the area!
