Beautifully done @raphafilms 😍 I've raced at the pointy end of mtb & gravel races with these incredibly strong women and they're all champions. But more importantly this shows the love and commitment it takes from not just from themselves, but industry partners, fellow racers and of course their friends and family, as well.
So nice you girls can get together to go out and experience being off grid. Our cell phones numbs our experience in the normal world where getting in God‘s country frees our mind.❤
I loved everything about this piece! Great characters, sumptuous visuals, a coupla surprising tugs on the old heart strings and doggies: what more do you need? Glad I stayed for the credits, cause Chelsea Jolly you are special. Have worked in television for 24 years on some of the biggest sports properties out there so I feel qualified to say you are a STORYTELLER. Such impressive chops. Thank you for 20 great minutes of a story worth telling.
It's a bummer that there's so much pressure to perform. For most people cycling is about getting out on the bike and having fun. Professional racing is a whole different animal, I suppose.
I learned how to repair my own bikes due to the COST of it and what I did not have much of; money. As I have resided in Las Vegas for three years now, after moving away from San Diego (born and raised), I cannot begin to share with you just how discriminative the boys are toward a solo older woman who still is into cycling (next phase; Bike Touring) and does her own repairs. I don't mean to be racist, but there is more of an influx of mexicans/hispanics and blacks where I am at as for a region of Southern Nevada and being surrounded by them, they have done a lot of 'complaining' in how everyone else lives their LIFE (in reference to the 'locals'). I am a believer in Christ and I personally know that Christ does not mind me riding my bikes (because I am not mentally excessive or obsessed about it) as also knowing that I get my help from HIM when repairing my bikes. My zeal is too into cycling, but now into improving innovations for cyclists and better quality bike builds for also a reasonable cost where more lives can afford to have a bike that can be used for a several purposes rather than just one or two.
I'm not crying.. You're crying...😭 Gosh I love this stuff, a great reminder to tell your friends you love them 💓
What a beautiful video and glimpse into these incredible peoples lives.
Sarah, we all love you! You’re willingness to be vulnerable is truly an inspiration!
