I love your work Mr. Beeftink, absolutely. This is my frustrated dream. I studied composition in my country Venezuela, and dreamt about making a living out of it, but unfortunately the country collapsed and I couldn't finish my studies or graduate and then I had to move on to other things to make a living through the disaster and nowadays I only do it when I have some time to ease the creative impulse and to feel better. Somehow I make my dream come true a little through your music. I love it. Thanks for sharing with us.

I played my final performance as a senior back in April and I used your Birds piece as my opener for the recital. This new piece is tempting me to pick my flute back up!! I haven’t had motivation to play but this is so beautiful, your work is always so fun!

I love all of your arrangements so much, and I inspire to be good enough to play them well one day! This is closest to my skill level that'd I'd be able to play, but I'd need to work on my range a bit more. I've been playing for almost eight years now, but there's only so much a small town high-school band can do for progress. Your music really inspires me as I'm coming out of a plateau of progress!

Hello Herman - a fan here - can you tell us what system you use for recording the flute as it is so hard to get good recordings. Lovely new piece! (also a customer!) I played part of your Celtic Suite at one of our churches locally. Folks loved it!
Thank you! I’m using protools but that’s not necessary, pretty much any DAW will do. Most important is a good microphone, I use the AKG 414.
