- I have 5 years worth of finished diamond paintings under my bed, and I wanted a way to display them on my walls quickly and cheaply. I saw that I had some painters tape and decided to use that around the edges and it worked! Here's the info on how I did that. Enjoy!

Oh, that will be nice! It's just too expensive and time consuming to put them all into real frames! Although some are so beautiful like your Batman DP, they deserve something a little more special.

That turned out gorgeous that's even a cool idea to do with the border of the paintings if you where to put it in a frame because sometimes you can't find a frame the exact size you need but find one that is a little bit bigger at least if you put tape around the border you won't see it

Thanks Tina. I finally got to the point a month ago to just stick my paintings on the walls bare, no frames, with push pins. Now I can make them all look a bit better with a “frame” and maybe use Command strips. Can’t wait to do this. ❤
I still used black push pins and my thumb is still partially numb from all of them I pushed in for over a week!
I honestly llke the plain black but if you do add a color, I like the aqua if you can find it. The blue is nice as well...
Black will work on almost all of them, but I did like using the different colors on other DPs!

I’m going to cut a piece of foam board about 1 1/2”
Larger than the drill area on my painting. Will probably paint it black 2” in and center the diamond painting on it . I plan on sealing my paintings and cutting away up to the drills, using spray adhesive or double stick tape to adhere it. I use command Velcro even for my regularly framed stitchery and it should be very lightweight.

I’m not on Facebook and so far I’ve just gathered the supplies 😛. I think I could adapt your clever tape technique to use on the foam board too! Hopefully, other crafty people will play around with these ideas also. I like these inexpensive “framing” ideas and maybe could put my paintings out on a rotation basis.
I get my colored tapes at the dollar tree for frames...

That’s really nice. You could probably use washi tape for the middle color
I don't think that has the same "sticking" power.
25:52 does the painter tape stick as well as the duct tape to the canvas?
It seems to. The Duct tape seems to "wrinkle" or "bow" it cause it's so strong.
Do you do one section at a time when you're doing your diamond painting picture?
I now do 1 section at a time when I DP and use a Jerry-ma-jigger to keep my lines straight 😉

I used painter tape but may not have long-teem adhesion.
