Thank god no one took the bisexual one too seriously, that stuff was so weird the parasocialism is bananas
Helen Keller wasn’t stupid, she just couldn’t see or hear. But she figured out how to communicate and she wasn’t fully flying the plane, she just held the sticks. It’s not that hard if someone tells you(signs in this case) to you what you have to do. I recommend the video “was Helen Keller a fraud?” By soup emporium. Honestly the view that she was lying or didn’t know how to do anything is ableist and ignorant (no hate to the chuckle gang, love these guys just felt like commenting)
Genuinely asking how did they sign to her if she couldn't see
@@jey1834 Tactile sign language, a modified version of sign language that deafblind people use. Wikipedia also has a list of the various methods that deafblind people use to communicate, just search the for the article on deafblindness.
@@jey1834 she would feel her caretakers mouth and throat to feel the vibrations for each word you say and piece together what each word was said. Also context clues and such helped her to learn what words meant and what they were. Just like how deaf children learn language or how a blind person learns to read braile. During the plane ride the interpreter told her what to do either by signing in her hand or speaking and Helen touching her mouth. And like I said, she wasn’t full on flying the plane, more so just holding the stick and doing what she was told
yeah i couldn’t even sit through that one. orion just regurgitated ableist nonsense they saw on tiktok.
@@olive2667they were clearly joking
Perfect podcast to get lost in the woods to and have to eat my best friend for survival too, thanks Ted and Tucker ❤
If you think the Helen Keller one is interesting, I fully recommend the video "Was Helen Keller a Fraud?". It goes really in depth on the conspiracy and where it originated/why it's popular nowadays
the hellen keller part was so ableist
1st one was uninteresting, 2nd was the stupidest most ableist shit I’ve ever heard and I could barely listen to the 3rd one without wanting to swallow a bullet from how cringe it was. the only things that saved this episode were the moments of banter in between and the challenge dynamic tucker came up with. very hard watch if I’m honest
Literally
Like disabled people can do stuff. They can exist. I cannot believe it's so fucking difficult for people to understand. AND THAT BISEXUAL ONE? FUCKING TERRIBLE--
Womp womp
Not by the fault of the guys tho that was completely due to the cringe ass fans
@@ericstencel yeah but damn they could've chosen better stuff. Plus, it's still so stupid of them to put ableist shit on their podcast and claim it's a joke
I like how Ted only brought up the 12 days of christmas part to get more numbers out of the way and schlant is all confused and judging ted on his christmas music taste lol. I wonder how much of schladdles perception of Ted is just gaslit propaganda
I gotta be honest, these speakpipe episodes really show how painfully unfunny this fanbase can be 😭
Yeah, this was a harder one. It's definitely the consequences of having a more immature fanbase as a demographic. I enjoyed their chemistry and the challenges they were assigned regardless
orion and wren’s conspiracies especially. i couldn’t even sit through them 😭
right like the helen keller ‘conspiracy’ isn’t groundbreaking and stopped being funny when it started like ten years ago
@@olive2667Wren’s was especially rough. I genuinely hope they learn from the reaction to this episode that it isn’t okay or normal to head cannon a real human being’s sexuality. There’s no harm if it’s a fictional character, but it’s so weird when it’s a real person.
@@tesamccrackenn I think they didn't stop to think if their sense of humour would work outside of their bubble honestly
Who’s the handsome dude In schlatt’s chair ?
right :o
people got no shame in the speak pipe meanwhile i’m embarrassed to send in even 1
our sweet cherub, we love you, thank you for the bonus giggles of the challenges. tucker is the man!
I hope they do another conspiracy episode at some point where people send in actual conspiracies
Chuggle slandfish
This is the best comment I've ever read
I'm laughing so fucking hard rn
@@sijebiI'm glad you found it funny
worst comment i've ever read
im crying so fucking hard rn
honestly the challenge idea is pretty entertaining as a subplot for the episode, I think it needs to continue appearing from time to time
Schlat knows Ted so well he almost caught on to his 30 buzz feed facts cause it didn't sound like a natural conversation he knew something was up
WHY IS SCHLATT SO STYLISH??? HE LOOKS SO COOL!!!
I love that you can noticeably feel the tension of the challenges- They fall into arguments and awkward silences more as they try to figure out how to do this
I don't usually comment on these but why does schlong look immaculate and kinda whimsical here
This is the perfect podcast to listen to while denying the existsnce of a large flesh pit under the Washington Monument!
I love watching Ted have no idea how to end the podcast more and more with each episode
In a good way
All of these are nuts but Wren is straight up deranged. Not just the theory, but the entire intro and rambling Tedverse afterwards.
I'm dying at Ted's joke with Schlatt unknowingly uncovering his challenge while trying to do his
Oh God these guys are back
CRAZY THUMBNAIL 😭
I was focused so hard on Ted counting that I got in a car crash. Sorry everyone on the 10 West!
There is high overlap between Adhd and bisexual swagger, both in Vibe and like weirdly-statistically
really? if so could have something to do with neurodivergence in general combined with queerness. i know theres a big overlap between trans and autistic people for instance
@@iamveryconfusedd
Most trans people aren’t autistic though. It’s more that a lot of autistic ppl are trans but not even the majority.
not to be that guy, but the whole bit abt helen keller is very wrong. Helen Keller was not the only deaf blind person. There are a lot of deaf blind people who can communicate and do things like everyone else. Theres a great vid by soup emporium abt that helen keller conspiracy that got really big on tiktok for a bit
i fully started sobbing when ted started the intro. please. never again. I can't skibideal with my skibihosts on this skipodcast any longer. skibibye. forever.
That wren person really needs to get a grip on being normal. Almost had to skip that part cuz i was cringing so hard. Good on ted for taking it well tho, i would be freaked tf out if someone said something like that to me
we need to start submitting speakpipes and ending it with putting the fingers in the box fan
The challenge idea is the coolest thing ever tucker
There are two types of chuckle sandwich fan senses of humor
Type A: actual jokes that aren't about Schlatt or Ted
Type B: about Schlatt and Ted, painfully unfunny, usually inside jokes e.g. "Schlatt"
i am bisexual and i had to skip that entire portion of "in another universe ted is bisexual" oh my god
me too, i’m bisexual and i was so uncomfortable
idk why they sent that if they were self aware that it came off as parasocial and I also don't get why Tucker picked it if there was 3 others...I wonder what the others were?
Yeah I was like oh god....they do not represent us😭😭😭
I feel a little bad for them since they sound so young, but I hope they can learn that's a bit inappropriate and uncomfortable.
fr they literally said they werent tryna headcanon him bc its weird but then proceeded to do exactly that😭😭
The challenges are genuinely hilarious, loved this
Its nighttime where i live, how do you expect me to watch it right now? Delete it.
The quality of these speakpipes is ever decreasing
Yeah these were not hitting how the people sending them thought they would. I admire the confidence though
my dad is left handed and he holds ALL of schlatt's listed values! everyone tell my dad congrats!!
I turn into those wolf ripping their shirts off images everytime Chuckle Sandwich uploads
absolutely LOVE the secret challenge idea
i love their fundamental misunderstanding of when the twelve days of christmas are on a calendar, adding an additional day doesnt delay christmas it just extends christmas further into january. the first day is dec 25, the twelfth day is january 5
I love having tucker on the pod. He brings in extra elements that most casts dont have
I wish we got more episodes where Tuckle fuckles with the Chuckle, this was easily the most fun episode in a while because of that
I love myself a tickle fuckle
tuckle*
