Stu the pain of track rod ends on mine that adjuster nut was seized tight , just replaced the inner and boots as well both sides , good job keep up the great work 👍🏻
Quite easy , tool from Amazon it’s like a u bolt clamp around shaft near rack after gaiter removed , unbolt and clean and reverse fit screw in with thread lock , tighten with u bolt clamp and fit new gaiters as had to cut old off to remove , bought inner rods from Halfords £25 a pair,if you get from them, online shows it comes with gaiters but they don’t and if you change the gaiters check diameter size rack end as could be 2 different sizes as bought smaller one first mine was 55mm
Hi another cheap car If you are thinking of changing front shockers I would wire brush top nuts and soak with wd or something better day before, can be a pain to get top nuts off if you haven't got impact wrench failing that clamp shocker under wing (mole grips , Stilsons) under top nut you have a 27mm which holds bearing in place ,hope that helps .
Good to see a new series from you Stu. The car looks good and hopefully it will be just as successful as the last one. 👍
Thanks. Fingers crossed it gets through its MOT. Then we can have a play!
Good job and nice find
Thanks. Should be fun doing this one.
That looks like a real bargain with loads of potential.
Yes. Let’s hope so 🤞

How was the inner to do? I may have to do it if it still shows on MOT. Thanks. 🤩
