Hello! I was wondering if you also can recommend an immigration agency here in the Philippines? Or did you guys have help as well from Spanish firms? Thank you. I am truly learning a lot from your videos.
Great video!!! I have a question, though. I'm a stay at home mother of 2, and I will be residing in Spain once I get my non- lucrative visa approved, however my husband will stay in the USA and work, and he will not come to Spain with us, however he will be our financial provider. Can I still apply for a Non-lucrative visa for myself and kids?
Yes I believe so. My friend is in that situation. The savings should be in your name though I think. He may need to provide a letter saying you can take the kids abroad. Requiring in-person appointments for visa is too much to ask of people and especially families. I wonder who's decision this was and what was the actual motivation. That is asinine.
For families, I agree it can be challenging to bring the kids. But as this is a residence visa, it’s understandable that they want the application in person, at least the main applicant. But them’s the rules. This is the norm for the US and other countries as well, the green card applicants all have to go get their biometrics taken and pass an interview, so there are things that will be done in person for most immigration procedures, not just for Spain.
if a person moves to Spain on non-lucrative visa and gets a residency card , but may need to work somehow in Spain later, what status change can he or she apply for to allow to work as a non-citizen?
You will need to apply for Digital Nomad, Autonomo or Work visa, depending on which category best suits you. This doesn’t mean you can just switch, your application can still get denied if it doesn’t meet the requirements.
