We are blessed to have you as our mother. Your unending support and unmeasurable love bring us closer to you even though we are miles apart. We love you so ma'am and we are very proud of you for what we become now..God bless you everyday to your work.❤
Nanay, There are not enough words for me to thank you for all you have done for me and my sisters and brother, You are the kindest, most compassionate, person in the world, and I thank God that you are my mother. How blessed we all are to have experienced your goodness.. You mixed discipline with encouragement, If you had to let us take the consequences for bad behavior, you did so by telling us why, and your affirming words let us know that you loved us beyond measure and unconditionally. I can never repay you, mom, but I will at least try by passing on your wisdom and gentle ways to my own children! Thank you for everything!! I love you so dearly, more dearly than the spoken word can reveal! We love you so much Nanay Jocelyn Azucena your Apo’s are so proud of you na ikaw ang naging lola nla❤❤❤
Jocelyn is such a strong woman, still going through her life and working hard in spite of what had happened in her personal life! Really kudos to her and the domestic helper community in Singapore
Filippino maids are among the most resilient people I have ever met. They sacrifice so much and give so much to afford a better life for their family. And the way they create communities with each other is amazing, as well as how they rely on their Catholic faith to get through life's hardships. I am inspired by many of them.
I grew up with a domestic helper also. This episode gives me a little goosebump of resonation to my childhood. As a child back then, I felt really close to the nanny and my family always wanted her to stay. Growing up afterwards, just realized it’s a bittersweet feeling when everyone wanted her to stay but she wanted to go back to her children. These times I feel really grateful that me & my family have her and keeping the trust for decades. By watching this episode, much appreciated for Joycelyn. It’s a blessing to know that she’s staying strong for her children and still radiating kindness to her employer’s family. Thank you for bringing this episode. Always a joy to know timeless stories that resonate with society’s life memories.
keep up Miss i have been a nanny in a rich asian country for 3years after all my university studies i had to hustle coming from Africa to live with asian it wasn't easy work culture is tough working 7 on 7 1day off a month no live work from morning to night7am to 10pm ,i break that chain this year it wasn't easy ..but i couldn't see my life waste before my eyes like that ,they were nice and good to me but that life style is not for me i had to go😢....May the Almighty guide you❤❤❤ and protect you
seems to be a common theme in the filipino community. the men are not around to support the dozens of children they fathered. hope it changes for the next generation.
We grow up without her but we never take any chances to waste her hard work me and my siblings are will raise by her knowing that she is far away from us in Gods grace he kept us close. We conquer so many obstacles of course but that hard time give us so much encouragement to become a better persons! Now we are all happy family❤❤❤
That is her grand daughter 😊 who is my daughter. We are super proud of her. Words thank you isn't enough of what she did for us. My mother is kindhearted, beautiful inside and out❤
As usual these pinoy shedding fake tears by saying how bad their life is back home!!! They wan to work here is their own choice and don’t expect your employer bring your entire family here to sg and expect your employer pay for everything!!! Causing trouble like having a second employment, wants every weekend off, higher pay or equal benefits to sg citizens is started by them as well 🤮 They r just greedy by asking more money or equal to normal worker’s salary they did not think that the employers already provide food and shelter!!!
@@libiskit sg has the governing body for such matters but they r just being greedy wanting for more!!! Don’t get me wrong as I have domestic helper and I love her like my own family but especially the Filipinos helpers r the ones who causing the problems!!!! Expect employers to help them in everything!!!
What a horrible comment to make. I’d like to see how you would manage working as hard as these women do. Is it really their choice, most of them are doing it for the future of their children and helping their extended family. Your first sentence was extremely disrespectful, where would Singapore be without these “ helpers” ?
@Hahahaha10188 you got good one then just be thankful and don't judge. be kind and trust until they break yr trust.. anyway I personally don't have one because I don't want management problems.
@ @ if not happy with my comments then suck it up and keep your comments to yourself since is my honest opinion!!! I did said I also have domestic helper and treated her as my family member as well!! Is certain nationalities come here and think they own the land 🤮!!! They are not happy they are welcome to leave sg and move to whichever country they think is best for them!!!

Immeaureable sis

And with no eq.
When I was young I had a maid and I was too dumb back then to appreciate how much they sacrificed to do this work and be away from their families.
Loves your video :)) Please do an interview with Mr Aaron Tan, the boss of Getai and Koo Chye Ba temple and he is also a wedding solemnizer :))
Should have let the husband go to jail.
