I'm already emotional at the thought that this puppy is not a permanent member of your family. Lady is doing so well, but I'm not sure that I'm onboard with the arrangement. Fostering is an amazing thing, please don't get me wrong, but these two beautiful creatures do not deserve to be separated and go through the trauma of heartbreak.

@@ihateallyall I think it's cruel and am very surprised because the owners of Lady are amazing people. Having a newborn in the home is going to be hectic for sure. And so is a new puppy, but it'll be worse dealing with Lady losing her pal. Keeping the pup actually makes sense to me; Lady may not feel so jealous or left out with new baby, and she will. I hope they've read these comments and will reconsider.

Absolute relaxed happiness. This is how a lot of fosters end up being adopted by the foster parent. We don't know the full situation. I'm sure the foster mom is thinking the same thing, but we don't know the situation. When you adopt, the full cost of the new one is on the family. As a retiree, that is something I'd have to consider. Or there may be other considerations. Anyway, thanks for sharing this puppy happiness! It is heartwarming! 💞
