As I’m carrying the elemental weapons I like to go blessed riposte for the combo with great cannon. Requires a bit more set up but can give a one sized fits all riposte and lets you set demonswrath and another on the shield. Appreciate the great videos man, learned a lot from you.
Man this comment made me realize that this is what I was looking for. I am a Stone Forest user so if I wanted to use great cannon to it's full potential I needed to spend a skill on full moon slash and thus I have to sacrifice ruinous sigil. In my shield I usually go with Fire Riposte, Demons Wrath and Abyssal Anguish, so the only thing I needed was to change Fire Riposte to Blessed Riposte and so I can replace Full moon slash with ruinous sigil. This way I get the full potential of cannon with a blessed Riposte placed on the orbs. Contrarily to what people said this is not a set up (prior preparation) build as many of us use ruinous sigil at close combat, but you can actually use a cannon instead alternating between cannon and sigil depending on the situation, and if you manage to counter an attack with a blessed Riposte it is were the funny things happens. And you also have your Stone Forest with this setup too! (the fire damage that was provided with Fire Riposte) and with ruinous sigil you can protect your ground while casting. Thanks again for this comment man! It was so obvious but somehow I didn't realize until now.

But yeah, best class in the game in my opinion with almost limitless potential. Only enemy that I can think of that can give MK some trouble (solo only) would be metal golem in Witchwood / Everfall. Great video as always, won't stop certain people from bitching about how MK sucks etc etc though :) Edit: Dragon's Faith DF to GF is capable of timeblocking almost everything, except: - Garm's leaping attack (GF can perfect block that) - Daimon 2nd form double spectral arm swing (can't be blocked with this shield. Maybe with periphery?) - Living armor's shield breaker (pretty sure that's supposed to be unblockable however) - Condemned gorecyclops vertical club smash (SF/GF can block that one) Those are my personal observations, since I had to run a lot with this shield last time, as RNG is an ass in this game.

the one and only use I use stone forest for is when you are fighting daimon. when he goes to do his powerful suck ability. If you start casting it. he will slowly pull you in mid cast. once you reach the dead center of his hands. release and it will break the suck and you will usually knock him on his ass. It may or may not actually work on phase 2 as phase 2 seems to have more stagger resistance. It also could have been because my weapon was a sword and not a mace with higher knockdown as I believe stone forests ability to knock down is partially tied to the weapons knocked down. though I could be wrong. there's just something satisfying about casting it and slowly getting pulled in before the last second unleashing a massive attack that sends daimon reeling
