- Beating Minecraft, but we're rats.
Rat's Mischief is one of my most popular mods, and everybody loves my rats! But I always wondered, what would it be if you were to play as one? Luckily, with a smart combination of Mischief and Requiem, another mod I work on, I managed to code a way to play as a rat.
To experience what it was to be a rat in Minecraft, we decided to speedrun Minecraft as rats, and try and defeat the enderdragon as these tiny cute rodents. I'd maybe like to do a manhunt as a rat, chased by a normal player (although that would more be a rathunt), but I'm afraid I'm not skilled enough.

Here's an idea: Make the rats hold tools and items with handles sideways like they were holding them with their mouths rather than their paws.
Rats hold a lot of things with their paws anyway - it’s not unusual
@@boid They typically hold sticks with their mouths, though.
What if they just hold weapons and tools in their hands sideways?
That would brake there jaw
Or they could have little tool to the side of there body so it looks like there holding it

@@doctor4t Did you remove the invincibility frames? Normally it wouldn't be possible to do damage so fast. (at 4:20)

Manhunt as a rat actually sounds really fun even if it's scuffed xD
It really could be good! But I trained so much and can't even beat the game alone as a rat already, so doing it while also being hunted would be a bit too hard for me haha
@@doctor4t Manhunt doesn't necessarily need to end with the dragon. Or even require everyone to be the same type of entity. Hunters could be rats, and runner could remain human.

Yeah, I haven't messed with the custom origins lib, but I'm pretty sure they can just make it run the command as the local player when someone chooses the rat origin.

minecraft server but we are all rats and there would be leader rats who have their own versions which can't be tamed by anybody because they are the leader and also custom armor for the server which form armor to the rats also a rat crown that gives who ever wears them haste 1 and strenge 1 and the effects don't applied to tamed rats but any potion affect or bacon affect does effect the rats

Out of curiosity, what's the best weapon to use as a rat?

Love the hat in time music during the ender dragon
You should add combat kits, defense kits, and miner kits for rats. The combat kits can be a wood kit, stone kit, and so on, so forth. The combat kit increases dmg by half the weapons actual damage. With the same attack speed. You can also use axes, with the same speed of the rats attacks. Defense kits are like combat kits, but with armor. And with a shield. The miner kit would basically be pickaxes, but you need diamond to mine diamond. And netherite to mine netherite, and obsidian. Wood does nothing.
THESE ARE ALL OPTIONAL, YOU DONT NEED TO DO THESE! Thank you for your time, have an amazing day! (Ps, it would be really funny if you could combine kits, just have a full netherite armor, with a shield, and netherite axe, attacking at the speed of punching, WHILE FLYING)
You gotta add that as a feature to your mod instead of having to use requiem. I'd love being a rat

A rat origin mod would be awesome to where you can change it so easily and have as many abilities and also certain challenges with being a rat like hungry more and have certain abilities like going through smaller blocks than one block tall and have certain armor restrictions
