Just a very very slight difference. Not enough for me to spend a penny for experiments! Good to know that I saved my money 🤙😛🤟

@@Andy7String Thx for the Video, it Shows me, that experiments for soundchanges are useless. I prefer to learn playing the guitar better, to get a better tone. Many people get confused.

Heroic effort, thanks! \m/ I'm currently messing rolling 12AT7 through various sockets of my MarkV combo. I've done a lot of tube testing in various amps and gravitate towards the LP tubes, the Mullard in this example seems much more present...just an unfortunate fact of life that they tend to be noisier. Hands down best LP tube is the NOS Yugo Ei 7025S...fiarly rare but available under several labels.

Hi Steve, thank you for the input, rolling is quite an adventure. Am looking into the Sovtek LP for the inverter tube now, not sure how that will pan out but looking forward to seeing the results. Its V7 in the Mark V
Hope you have a great day

from my experienced changing v1 helps a little but changing the rest of the tubes on different sockets will hear a more significant change in gain, breakup and along with your highs, mids and lows. My least favorite is the JJ for distorted in general. They seem to not sound good for any of my amps when i crank it up. For cleans? I do like.

Hi Brain, thank you for watching. with all these tubes lying around, am looking into doing a complete roll. I really appreciate your feedback.
Hope you have a great day

@@Andy7String No problem. Anytime. I swap tubes all the time with my amps. I have to say that sometimes with some preamp tubes can mask an amps true potential. On a few times i contemplated on selling my amps because the tubes that were stock was tricking me into thinking it didnt sound as good as couldve . Once i put a better choice of tubes. The amp can certainly open your ears that you didnt think your amp could sound better.

Hi, Thank you for watching, its a slight difference. When dialing in the tone, or in a mix, you will be the only one that can hear a difference
