I am absolutely amazed by these Earphones! Their quality seems to be really good and it's really discrete. The sound feels very lively and I'm actually considering to buy these! Thanks for the review!
Oh man am dancing with joy. The sound these earmics record is incredible. I paused this video and bought them immediately. I have a Sony TCD7 Dat machine. I’m assuming these will work perfectly with them. Thanks so much for doing this test. You’ve given me loads of ideas. 👍🏽
YES finally found a pair that my country sells! And thank you SO SO MUCH for mentioning the output jacks, no one ever mentions this stuff, but because you did, I realized I could propably still use these for my GoPro Hero 9 (because it only has one input channel)! I thought I couldn't because this pair has two outputs, but turns out the other one is for audio in then?? Man you saved me, I have spent not hours but DAYS finding a pair I could buy, they're all either out of production or not sold in my country anymore, but these are (and there's only five of them left!). Thanks so much!! Subscribed
Thanks for the video. As the capsules extend out of the ear, are they real binaural? There are other similar products which have the microphones further into the ear, and I am guessing that they will work a lot better? But the recordings are good, All the best.
I got these and often have problems. The main issue is the sound bleeds from the earpiece monitors back into the mics and produces a weird airy sound. Ideally you need to either not plug in the Roland headphone cable or always keep the headphone volume way way down. The supplied foam protection is also not nearly enough for anything more than the very lightest of breezes. Also need to be very careful of cable handling noise. Don't get me wrong, I do use them but there's definitely a few things you need to be aware of. They're not exactly a foolproof "plug-in an go" solution.
I listened on headphones and it sounded amazing. I showed my wife and she thought she could hear cars in our living room!! A great explanation as to how they work. Have you used these plugged directly into your Sony A6400? I was wondering how the sound compares to the set up you used in this video. I have mine plugged into the Zoom H1n Mic and the sound is excellent. I find that they don't fit my ears too well and have a tendency to fall out if I'm not careful, but maybe that's just my ears!!! Always enjoy the content of your channel WWI, thank you.
@@TheCameraManReviews Yes, we did thank you. New Year's Even night here. Happy New Year to you too WIAW. Looking forward to seeing more excellent videos from you in 2022.
These appear to be very good but would have liked to hear you talking whilst walking or stood having a conversation with someone. I realise that's not what they're meant for but could be useful occasionally.
thanks you ~!!! I love your sharing very much. Do you plug ROLAND CS-10EM Binaural Earphones into Zoom H1N recorder? Did you put on the windshield like the one you shown on the video when recording outdoor?
@@TheCameraManReviews Thanks for answering!! Really appreciate. Just one more question, have you tried recording with Dji Pocket 2? When I listen to outer youtubers recording with Dji Pocket 2, it seems like it can also capture ambient sound well by itself. I am torn between whether to buy ROLAND and film with my iphone or buy Dji pocket 2.
@@Happy12240 I have the pocket 1 not the 2 and it is superbly stable. My personal choice would be go for the Pocket 2 and see if you like the sound, if not, then look to upgrade to h1n and roland.
I see that you have a windshield. Does the brand matter? I Don’t know which windshield to choose ….Or it's not needed since the sound goes through the Roland CS-10EM binaural earphones, not the zoom H1N
Great question, i tried this myself on my Samsung A70 phone, but was only able to record mono sound. I tried everything to get it to record in stereo, but no matter what I done it only recorded in mono. Now, It could have been just my phone, my advice would be to try finding out if your phone records in stereo first. Good luck!
Apologies for the stupid question . Can i plug them on my iphone 13 and record audio through them while recording video or I need to buy an external device in order to power the earphones >? Please help ..
If you're somewhere that is quiet they'll work for that, although be an expensive option. But if you're outside or surrounded by noise, probably not so great. They're specifically designed to pick up 360 degree ambient sound
Depends on the comparison to what's in the kit. It's listenable, unless maybe it's outside and the owls are hooting...that isn't going to satisfy, so dig deeper for a set that has a low floor, and a tripod.

So much better than a stereo mic, and a third of the price of something like the sennheisers
That was very impressive, I had no idea such a product existed. Thanks for the review and Happy New Year to you and yours.

Extremely discrete. I just ordered a set. I usually run an on-camera Rode SVMX but it is mighty conspicuous and hefty. We'll see how these do.
Great explanation and thanks for getting to the tests without waffling on like most TH-camrs would do! About to buy a pair now!
They are brilliant, I bought 2 pairs plus 2 pairs of the Sennheiser ambisonic headphones

Hi, thanks for your amazing videos, please which recorder you can Suggest me for Roland Roland CS-10EM, Thanks 🖐
Does it works when is windy?
Thanks God somebody did a real street test with cars running by. 😎👍🏻
Does it works as stereo - left ear left channel - right right, or combined in mono?
Really helpful cheers for upload.
You're welcome!
Can you link these up with the DJI Mic?

I plugged them into the Olympus Lp4 recorder (similar to the H1n) and yes, i had the wind protectors on. 🙂

Do you just wear them on your ears as you are filming and then overlay the sound when editing the video?
Yeah, just put them in your ears, and record. you can attach them direct to the camera if you dont want to overlay the sound.
@@TheCameraManReviews Thank You!!!
Hey mate,
Are these earbuds water resistant? Would it work in rainy weather or at the beach?
I would say no, as the openings for the mics will let water in, but an umbrella could be an answer?
do we have any better option than this? i mean in quality but should be simple to use

So you recorded the audio on the zoom H1?
yeah
is it possible to use these somehow for mundane application of talking on the phone or zoom meetings etc? Some kind of adaptor required perhaps?
