    Hi fitness oriented. Thanks for sharing this info. Question though, suppose the muscle imbalance already happened, what do I do then?

  • @Turn2Christ
    @Turn2Christ ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Great info, makes sense that it's muscle disbalance as I hit dts hard but neglect the back head and rotator cuff muscles. Thank you

      +Fitness Oriented Many thanks, I been tryin to find out about "leg muscle imbalance symptoms" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Reenrianna Imbalances Redemption - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my colleague got cool success with it.

    Great video my man! One question tho so you're telling me the shoulder/delts can be stronger than the rotator cuff? Because basically i look myself at the mirror and see how my shoulder is longer and bigger than my upper back and scapula, i know what to do now great but what if i have winging scapula and my rotator cuff may not be working in the gym as well as you do because of the winging, should i correct the winging scapula first then strengthen my rotator or can i correct the winging and strengthen my rotator at the same time? Pls answer

      Fix your scapula first although you prob already did both by now

    I got a chance to experience some decent WiFi speed... great video, shoulders can't be talked about enough when it comes to weight training. 95% of Gym goers are sleeping with a Rattle Snake when it comes to Training shoulders. The abuse of shoulder exercises is an epidemic in the Gym, and little do they realize that they may end-up paying the price down the road, maybe 5 yrs, 15yrs, or 20yrs. I'm at the gym everyday on vacation, and shoulder abuse is alive and well. Great Video Jeff

      I'm glad you liked this one Gerard...I think the one I just did is actually my best one yet on the shoulder. Indeed though, you're right, I too see the shoulder constantly being abused, with behind the neck presses, the empty can exercise, way too much range of motion for certain shoulder exercises, etc

    Gday mate! Cheers for the knowledge. I have a permanently dislocated acl can you please give me some advice, if I need more than you've provided in this video. I have a tendency to always go right side in everything I do which may have caused me other problems down the chain that I'm not aware of.
    Thanks mate look forward to watching more of your awareness channeling. (Can you please use a smaller skeleton or zoom out to capture full view of the movement or chain.

      Cheers to you too! I would definitely ask your doctor about something like that. I really dislike giving individual advice online, as there isn't enough information being given. My best suggestion would be to get fully evaluated by a doctor and then perhaps see someone like a physical therapist and ask both people a lot of questions.
      Perhaps you'll find this video I did useful though th-cam.com/video/ILTBDCt0t-A/w-d-xo.html

    I dislocated my shoulder just getting up outta bed like jerking my arm forward. I always hit shoulders hard in the gym but never the rotator cuff. Thinks that what happened? Can this be associated with dislocation as well?

    Unrelated question: I've just brought Frederic Delavier's Strength Training Anatomy (third edition). Do you have this book too, and if so whats your opinion on it?

    • @Fitnessoriented
      @Fitnessoriented  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      That book sounds very familiar and I'm quite sure I've looked through it. I don't remember it clearly enough though to give a good opinion on it. The book I've most recently looked at is Dutton's Orthopedic Survival Guide

    Expand more on the exercise, and show peeps how you can do them indoors. Seeing you do cable external rotations would be nice.

    • @Fitnessoriented
      @Fitnessoriented  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Demonstrating personally is a good idea. I don't know how I'd expand on these much though.....I suppose I can go into more depth and focus on an individual exercise in a video

    i believe this might be what I have
    why is it that many people don't have this

    • @Fitnessoriented
      @Fitnessoriented  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      It could possibly be your issue. In fact, I recall watching a video a while ago with Dorian Yates in it....he said that he wished he knew about the issue I described in this video before he got injured

    • @frblaze2
      @frblaze2 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fitness Oriented some people never train rotator cuff and have no injury or pain...

    • @Fitnessoriented
      @Fitnessoriented  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's true. It could be a genetic component, such as I discussed in one video I did here th-cam.com/video/-jy3apyo6UI/w-d-xo.html

    When I try to do the side lying rotator cuff exercise even without a weight my whole back reacts with tightening up. Any idea why? While lying on the back and doing it it's okay . I can do even 50 reps without weights of course. Will also try the standing position one.

    • @Fitnessoriented
      @Fitnessoriented  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hmmm, I'm not sure why. It could be some sort of muscle motor pattern you have where your body is having trouble isolating the rotator cuff. Try out the standing position and if you aren't getting that issue, then I'd stick with doing the exercise that way. As long as you don't have pain doing the exercises, you should be fine
