We had a camper trailer and just put kayaks on top of camper upside down and strapped em down and then just rooftopped to launch spot or launch from campsot if close to water
Hi Russell as a test, I have placed the yaks same way just on the canvas and they sit quite snug. It's not that hard to shift them forward onto the car roof from there either so was looking at possibly light removable bar work across the camper trailer that could come off when the kayaks don't come with us.
lots of great waterways for the kayak on the south coast. I stay at rest point in Walpole, because it has fantastic access to the water. have you considered roof topping the kayaks?
Hi Luke, agreed, I reckon we only explored a quarter of what's on offer down there. I initially was thinking of a rack on the camper trailer but what do we do when she is set up on site? Yep, probably looking at topping on the car for sure mate.
@@wingitmissionfishingoutdoo6647 I would love to get a hybrid camping kayak trailer. I'm so used to car topping, got good at setting up and packing down. When we are at rest point I usually just leave the yak mostly ready to go. I take the expense bits away at night or if we go for a day trip somewhere
Hi Folks - I have noted in the vid that Parry Beach is "EAST" of Denmark when it is actually 21kms "WEST" of Denmark. Sorry to all Parry Beach folk on that one😁

put the kayak on the roof of the car. you can get soft roof racks that are easily put on and taken off. I use them.
Awesome thanks for the tip
