I had a motopressor... second time i used it in the wild it died. The open housing just sucks in dirt and dust. The unit is in the bush near came york somewhere. I still have the neoprene pouch though.

Great video. Have the Tomcat myself. Purchased about 10 years ago. Also carry a manual DRC foot pump style one as a back up.

I have a Michelin micro compressor. Similar to your tomcat as it runs off the bike power with a digital gauge. It lives on the bike and has paid for itself with a puncture away from home.
Possibly one of the essential tools for riding.

Quite surprised how much slower the tomcat was on the tubes at the start, but i guess time is not a big issue in the middle of nowhere, reliability is though. Cheers 4 sharing sir.

Good comparison. The motopressor looks bulkier because of the long inflation tube. I also have a Tiger but reckon the tomcat would be better even if it is slower.

You can buy an inline guage as an option, it screws on the end of the hose. But it was a bit pricey I think.

Great video Keith, I carry the motopressor everywhere. Only problem as you mentioned is the large rotating flywheel.. I have been thinking about trying to enclose it. Something to think about..
