Brightness is very evident. I loved the A90J, but have stayed away from all OLEDs because I can't stand the dimness. The 2023 OLEDs (with MCA) and QD-OLEDs may be the first time I really look at them.
I do like the size comparisons you are doing more of. Please incorporate that more.... as in put the 77 infront of the 83 etc, gives better idea of real estate difference of screen size.
@@BTheInstaller lol definitely would be hard to go back.... I've been struggling with choosing a size for my setup... even measured, stitched together cardboard to help visualizing the difference. Really want 83 to 85 but also want qd oled. Next year probably.
If you look at the video at 17:16, window frame is green on sony samsung is white. Samsung is just more realistic becauae the window frame is white color in real life
Man people worry to much about which tv is better just enjoy whatever tv you want or have I have the c1 and s95b I love both so quit worrying about what you think is superior just enjoy the fact you can have something very nice
Great video and great tv. It’s crazy how this tv and the LG G3 77 is the same exact price. And I’d honestly choose a QD - OLED over a regular OLED. I can also get this tv for $3400 at Best Buy, but I’ll play it safe and wait a few more months.
That one connect box is a mix review. It's good that they made a spot for it at the back of the tv if you don't want it sitting on the table or in your entertainment console, but you have the option to put it almost anywhere with the longer cable. I'm guessing a replacement cable will be very expensive. Sony can make this technology and add a PlayStation WiFi like one connect box where it can install at the back of the tv, giving you a clean look with the gaming hardware of a PlayStation.
I was hoping for a larger 83" Class S95C OLED TV. Hopefully soon you'll have access to some of the newly announced 2023 CES 97"-98" OLED TV's. Will buy one of these new big screens soon as they become available, it's slated for the Living Room. The Living Room's current Sony 83" A90J is going to the Dinning Room and the Dinning Rooms 65" Sony A90J is going to the Guest Bedroom.

The Samsung looked impressive. Better contrast, brighter and more detail in the darks than the Sony. The whites were very white and the image looked like it had all the advantages of an OLED and an LCD combined. This TV in this size is in the running for a TV I'll buy this year.
@@TH-camuser1aa Bruh this is QDOLED...and it is less susceptible to burn in than regular WOLED..get your facts straight.... QDOLED uses blue light while WOLED uses white light which dilutes colour brightness. Get your facts right.

I bought the S95B last year and the picture has been great. My main issue is occasionally the Samsung soundbar is out of sync with the TV so the lips moving don’t match the words I hear
B, in the video you mentioned that the S95B didn’t perform as well with Low Bit Rate Content. Has that been improved with the S95C? This piece for me at least is a determining factor for buying the TV. One of the reasons I ended up returning the S95B was because of this. Essentially to me the television only looked good when watching High Quality Netflix Movies or big budget movies, etc, most of the stuff in HD was just meh. It was so meh I started questioning whether the S95B was really a 6 series Samsung in disguise.

Really nice TV! What i was wondering, the one connect box should be connected through a superthin wire, when i watch your video i see a fairly thick cable connecting the tv to the one connect box...... I want to wall mount it and put the one connect box in the cabinet.
Tried your tv quiz on your website. Seems to need more work but I quite like the concept! Despite choosing LG, for example, I never got an LG OLED choice despite what I picked, for example. Mostly, Samsung actually. What I did discover is that given where I sit, a 77 inch size is the correct upgrade from my 65 inch LG CX when I need a replacement. The CX is continuing to do well in a room with two large picture windows that face NW where sunlight hits the windows on an angle. Use on the CX is reaching 7500 hrs. Best Buy’s LG rep says 5 years is about what to expect from an LG tv right now. We are now into our fourth year, so I will know . . . soon . . . I should think.
Compared to your A90J, no Brandon, it’s a huge difference in brightness. The white in the background looks…white. Whether it’s on the field or the wood panel behind guy talking. Also, more shades of green on the football field. The field looks more natural. Brandon, recheck with this S95C that scene from Dune with all the explosions that you did last year. The S95B from last year couldn’t quite make those flames pop and looked dim next to an LCD. Show that same scene again from DUNE with this S95C. That should be interesting.
Why are you complaining about smudging the screen, its always advisable to complete the entire installation before you peel of the screen rubber/polythene okay!

There was no update available. Maybe it already updated when I wasn't looking. The pixel shift function threw me off, it had twice the gap on top and left... then next time bottom and right. It was an extra 1/4" so very noticeable
Definitely see the difference in colour quality. I tend to be skeptical of manufacturer hype, but your visuals between the two tv’s really shows quite the upgrade on the Samsung considering the Sony was the king of its day. (Curious to see how it stands up to the relevant LG when that time comes.)

Look at 18:03 where the ocean is in the back ground. Yes, the Samsung is brighter, but the depth of the picture is night and day better on the Sony. I’m returning the LG G2 for the 83” A90J. I’ve had a Sony OLED in 65” and the picture is so much more real on my 65 than the new 83” LG. Sony is being delivered Wednesday.

That lift at 7:10, that's how I killed my S95B, bent corner and broken display. Good to see it is sturdy enough, although I heard some concerning cracking sound when you lifted up 😂
What size are the bolts you use to connect the wall bracket to the TV. Obviously they have to be small with the thickness of the TV. Do they come with the TV.
Does it have a digital tuner built in for television? Curious because the remote doesnt have number buttons. And no one shows this the just show 4k video footage. I need to make sure my wife can still watch ion network when im at work lol.

Hi there. I bought the 55inch S95c and don’t have the 3 One Connect Box holes on the back of the tv for wall mounting. Is this a fault with my tv or is it only available on the larger models?
You‘re mixing up overbrightening + oversaturating with the TV making the content look brighter/better. In approx 95% of content the source material is not graded outside of what the A95K is capable of and the difference that you‘re seeing is Samsung deciding to overshoot EOTF while Sony remains accurate. I know you‘re not a calibrator, but it would be great if you could take a few clues from Classy in that regard to not give a false impression. Yes, the new panels can be up to 30% brighter, but except for gaming there‘s barely any content in which you‘d be able to notice it when sticking to an accurate picture mode which should be the standard at this point. If you‘re only referring to standard/vivid modes that needs a big disclaimer because that is an entirely different thing.
If the light shines on the bit you smudged and you look at the area at a 45 degree angle, you will probably have blue smudges. Because you used an old sock, you probably left scratches as well. The moth eye filter they use is very very fragile
Great video. I prefer this tizen compared to the old as the quick switching seems convenient but would have handshake and stability issues like with the qn85a. Other youtubers complain about speed and convenience, but this new system is quite solid
You really can't justified the image quality with streaming contents. Only a full fat 4K HDR Blu-ray disc can you really bring out the full potential. Bitrate for a 4K Blu-ray is 80mb vs 15mb on a streaming video. I've bought Avengers Endgame, a 4K streaming video and it fails in compassion to a 1080p 10mb Blu-ray.
Saw the S95B in 2 BB stores last year and both were bent.... Samsung specifically hinted at durability improvement with the 95C and i thought they meant more than just longevity, but who knows..
Curious why Samsung started making their remotes this cheap. I used to own one of their first 75" QLED and the remote was made of metal and was very cool to touch.
Hey man, what was your experience like with Taizen on this new model? Tizen was awful on my S95B, the UI to this day is so laggy and unresponsive at times. Is it smooth on this TV?

The slight twisting is creates due to gravity has fixed the ribbon cable's single connection that was faulty I have fixed my TV with fucking gravity...

That bending issue you show, it's not that apparent on video. Is it noticeable in person? It would be a shame if even after a whole year of feedback, Samsung still couldn't fix this issue.

Yeah it definitely helps on that front. Putting the 98" and then 120" UST where the 83" was ruined 83s for me

The A90J looks more realistic in the colors - samsung could use a calibration to bring in the skin tones so they are not overly red.

I had the same problem. I had to turn on the microphone on the soundbar for it to correct itself. Once turned on there was not a problem.
Turn off your internal tv sound. And use the arc from soundbar to tv arc. That fixed my issue

What picture settings were used for comparison? I don’t really see a point in comparison unless both are calibrated.

got a 2019 Samsung 4k 75 inch tv i use it as my laptop monitor wall mounted around £1359 with the wall mounting
At this point would you get the 83 inch A90J or this 77 inch tv? They are around the same price.

Good question. The 83" is hard to pass on. I still like the google os better and the size difference. Probably would get 83" or even C2 at 83
Hi there. I bought the 55inch S95c and don’t have the 3 One Connect Box holes on the back of the tv for wall mounting. Is this a fault with my tv or is it only available on the larger models?
You‘re mixing up overbrightening + oversaturating with the TV making the content look brighter/better. In approx 95% of content the source material is not graded outside of what the A95K is capable of and the difference that you‘re seeing is Samsung deciding to overshoot EOTF while Sony remains accurate. I know you‘re not a calibrator, but it would be great if you could take a few clues from Classy in that regard to not give a false impression. Yes, the new panels can be up to 30% brighter, but except for gaming there‘s barely any content in which you‘d be able to notice it when sticking to an accurate picture mode which should be the standard at this point. If you‘re only referring to standard/vivid modes that needs a big disclaimer because that is an entirely different thing.
If the light shines on the bit you smudged and you look at the area at a 45 degree angle, you will probably have blue smudges. Because you used an old sock, you probably left scratches as well. The moth eye filter they use is very very fragile

Great video. I prefer this tizen compared to the old as the quick switching seems convenient but would have handshake and stability issues like with the qn85a. Other youtubers complain about speed and convenience, but this new system is quite solid

You really can't justified the image quality with streaming contents. Only a full fat 4K HDR Blu-ray disc can you really bring out the full potential. Bitrate for a 4K Blu-ray is 80mb vs 15mb on a streaming video. I've bought Avengers Endgame, a 4K streaming video and it fails in compassion to a 1080p 10mb Blu-ray.
Unfortunately, I need Dolby Vision so the Sony or LG will be for me.

Saw the S95B in 2 BB stores last year and both were bent.... Samsung specifically hinted at durability improvement with the 95C and i thought they meant more than just longevity, but who knows..
Curious why Samsung started making their remotes this cheap. I used to own one of their first 75" QLED and the remote was made of metal and was very cool to touch.
Hey man, what was your experience like with Taizen on this new model? Tizen was awful on my S95B, the UI to this day is so laggy and unresponsive at times. Is it smooth on this TV?

@@busterboy7507 I have just fixed my TV myself since your reply. Unplugged it, brought it to my bed and let it fall on its back around 20 inches high. The slight twisting is creates due to gravity has fixed the ribbon cable's single connection that was faulty

Con todo respeto para usted y su compañera manifiesto mi humilde y honesta opinión: Sus reviews son tremendos y sobre todo honestos eso está cool, con respeto a su compañera me sorprende la fuerza interna que tiene por qué cargar una pantalla tan pesada con su complexión es admirable. Su compañera realiza el unboxing con mucha fluidez, ella hace un esfuerzo al estar agachándose, quitar los plásticos y los uniceles, puedo deducir que es es un trabajo duro. Ahora para el Señor B usted hace un impecable montado de las bases de las pantallas es un profesional en toda la extención de la palabra. Es admirable como mueven muebles para tener la mejor ubicación y las mejores vistas para las pantallas. Para finalizar mi opinión espero que Siempre sigan así y nunca cambien. Saludos a ustedes ❤
That bending issue you show, it's not that apparent on video. Is it noticeable in person? It would be a shame if even after a whole year of feedback, Samsung still couldn't fix this issue.
