That is absolutely not true. I've seen it in person and it actually blends the pixel better so individual RGB pixels do not look too crisp and the color fringing is lower because of this. I would in no way buy a gloss finish display, not just for the bright environments, but for dark too. I hate the gloss because no matter what, if you sit at working distance from it, since I'm using one as a computer monitor, it will show you a reflection of yourself in the dark areas that is hugely distracting. Mate it is for me!
Don’t like Matt screen. I heard picals are duller .
dude, at least first learn to spell 'pixels' correctly.
Also it is 'matte' not 'matt'
@@Sas-wk9lj If you’re going to criticize me ,at least capitalize the first word of a sentence.
@@craigosterberg5045 lol, your grammar is crappier than I thought. Dude, we don't capitalize the entire word, only the first letter. Moreover, in informal social media posts, we don't worry about punctuations, but we do care about spelling as that can mean a completely different thing or nothing at all. Got it?
No matter how, glossy finish make picture look high end and high contrast especially in dark scene.
disagree: 77 or 83 look so uneven when walking by and the reflections bending. almost bought g4 after deep diving reddit but in the store it looked so cheap. the s95d made that effect just disappear. actually this made my decision.
No I will stay with LG G4 77

i still hate the Samsung Remote compaired to sony xr65a95l remote and the fact that you can not get rid of Samsung online tv app service ( it keeps on working even when you deinstall it )
also i mis the app only mode like Sony has. So nope i am staying with my xr65a95l for now..
It's not a Sony option; it's a Google TV option.
We know who wears the trousers in this relationship now
There is no problem with reflections but how black looks like. With that matte finish you dont have that ultra dark black but light is scattered everywhere which is destroying main important feature of OLED = 100% black.
Have you tried this TV already? If not, what you're saying is nothing but assumptions.
(No, I don't own this model)
First A95L,Second LG3.

It is, poor samsung

Put on a high reflective scene that has a lot of reflective parts and you will see why matte is not as good as a reflective surface. Matte finishes should be left for pc screens, not tvs.
puedes verme?
Matte is a big no no
No Dolby Vision, no buy!
It's been that way for years; what's changed?
DV is no need when TV can show HDR10 >1500 nits

The matte finish sucks... Go ask Vincent Teoh... It makes the screen look dull and hazy and it loses detail, saturation, and blacks.
Why ask someone? And who knows whether they're lying about it with their personal agenda to sell other brand TVs? Why don't you do some community service by purchasing the TV yourself and make a video about the matte sceen and its flaws, dude?
"Matte finish sucks, go ask this one person for their opinion"...
No Dolby Vision - it's a waste of time ;)
others wont follow in thew fututre ,your talking BS ,,,, it looks stupid and cheap shine the sunlight on it or some bigger direct light ,samsung should just make 2 versions of the s95d one matt and one glossy so everyone can get what they like
