This pricing bubble will have to pop soon. People simply can't afford it at the moment and will continue to be unable to afford them. It will come to a head soon. Basic economics that should apply here. When people can't afford luxury items, then they won't sell. These sellers are here to sell and nothing else if they dont sell then You may find tomorrow that people will be more likely to negotiate after there, most likely failure today. Don't feel bad you never know what will be there tomorrow
Totally agree with the prices , think some people are just greedy , if a dealer doesn’t answer questions about the item , I usually won’t buy from them , or get a business card from them and take a picture of the item next to the card , just incase it doesn’t check out
I would love to go to the SOS some day, but it’s crazy. The amount of money I’d had to spend for a plane ticket, hotel, rental car and then spending money. If you could find a lot of good deals and didn’t have to worry about fakes, I’d love to go, but from what I’ve seen, it’s not worth it. I can’t believe the amount of fakes I’ve seen when you were doing your walk through the show and seeing that there aren’t really any good deals to be had.
Thanks Muchacho, you look exhausted. Sounds like for anyone new trying to get into the german material is likely to get burnt by fakes and overpriced items. Maybe you should start a commentary of what is a reasonable cost for certain items so your viewers can run in the other direction when they see a ripoff ;)

Dealers weren’t too willing to haggle, which is a significant change from a few years ago. Collectors new to the hobby are paying way too much for common items. The age of the average attendee is not a positive trend, and they aren’t teaching history in schools as they were only a decade ago. The future of this hobby is cloudy & uncertain. IMHO.

I went there intent on bringing home an honest original M40/42 SD Army and 90% of them had been messed with, either liner rivets fooled with or decals fake. The other 10% were outrageously priced.
IMO, sellers are getting older, higher prices mean an easier retirement.... I could be easily wrong though. Still very hesitant to go to a major show due to the fakes. Thanks for the perspective!
Maybe I don’t understand but are these shows for dealers to buy stuff to sell? Because the gun shows pawn shops and other places I buy stuff from I would never sell anything to them cause I’m gunna lose on the deal if you get my drift
This is what happens when you have a incompetent administration attempting to run the country and keep telling everyone what a great job they have done with the economy. Dealers costs have gone way up for travel, hotel, food, gas, storage, shipping. The dishonest dealers like WK will always try and screw over the new collector. It’s a shame but it is what it is. Thanks for the videos always fun to watch my friend. If you would like a tip from a pro photographer, slow down your panning rate with the video camera and give it a little tome to acquire focus, especially when close to items. 😎🇺🇸
It’s honestly depressing to see how many fakes are at these modern shows. I hope the princess do go down though. There are still good sellers out there!

Groceries ... Militaria..Inflation impacts everything.
Prices of everything have gone up...gas n groceries...why not war time collectibles.
I agree items should appreciate in value, but not 200-300% in a couple years....
