Sandro, what I find useful and honest here is that your review is based upon your experience with the reviewed products prior to the video. It reveals that you have invested the time to understand the product especially with the application/removal process. I feel this is really important as most products have their own characteristics and are seldom just a straightforward process. This helps with the decision process of what to choose as well as keeping potential frustration levels to a minimum and maximizing the user experience - a very objective approach. Always enjoy your vids!💪

I personally love the meguiars line up. I didn't find the liquid wax streaky and was able to do my whole black car and come back around to wipe off with no issues at all. Maybe I got lucky I guess. It is a nice combo of waxing vibes vs new school chemistry.
Also awesome video. Once s##t gets back to normal, I am driving from Sydney to get my self detailed car picked apart by Sandro himself

I just got a new CX-5 and I tried the Mother’s on it and my feelings are exactly the same. It was easy to work with, didn’t stain the trim, and felt great but the first time it rained I didn’t even feel like I had a wax on it.
Before this on my older vehicle I used NuFinish and I really liked it, I only felt like it was necessary to wax a couple times a year maybe three if it was s really rough summer or winter but that thing would consistently bead up the entire time. With mothers I feel like I’m going to have to wax at least every two to three months stretching it.

    Great video friend.
I have the Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax and it turned out to be good. I love the hydrophic properties and ease of use. However, the longetivity does not seem to hold up.
I also.have M27 from the Pro line, and it very similar to this but has better performance.

As always great video!!. I was really hoping that "Mother's" would have made a comeback with this new sealant/wax, well I guess they have to some extant but I doubt it will make it's mark in the market. Mother's has been struggling for quite some time now.

  • @sheepstardetail

I believe the mothers is supposed to be “topped”. Mike Phillips used it with a DA polisher and saw reasonable results in little time. I’ve had similar results with CMX 3n1 polish and coat, I didn’t test if it could repair a coating, but it did work as a base over Cquartz lite without panel wipe. I’ve been trying to get my hands on the yellow bottle for a few months since they were announced, but they haven’t made it into Canada (at least, not since I looked last).

Only last one wash. Bit poor for ‘ceramic wax’.
I have noticed anything that provides super slickness usually dies off really fast. I don’t know if this is down ti silicone content, which, while good at adding slickness is water soluble so just a bit of rain and the products gone.

Good day Sandro! Thanks for the video….they are appreciated. Over the last year or so I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s either NV or CarPro for me…or a combination of both. An occasional product may pop up on the the scene from another distributor/company from time to time that may be decent but it’s few and far between. CarPro and NV are the dominant suppliers to me and have many ‘tried and true’ products that can stand up against anyone. I was really hoping Mother’s would have dominated this test but sadly it disappeared in a dramatic fashion. Sad! I truly believe NV Boost would have came in first place in this showdown! 🤷🏽‍♂️
I hope you and the family are doing well. Until next time…cheers mate!

What is your favourite hydrophobic easy to apply product? I have a black car with very soft paint and 3 years ago cut, polished and used carpro sio2 which apart from the side panels is at the end of its life but I fear polishing (bar, by hand) the paint again as I think their is potential that I'd burn through the paint. Longevity isn't a priority as much as good hydrophobic properties.

I would appreciate your opinion on choosing between a Meguiars Ceramic hybrid wax vs sealants vs the Ultimate wax. I have been using the Ultimate wax for around 5 years, but now see these ceramic hybrid waxes and Sealants. Would you recommend switching from the Maguiars Ultimate wax to one of these new ones? And what would be the pros/cons. thanks

    • @CarCraftAutoDetailing
      @CarCraftAutoDetailing  ปีที่แล้ว +2

I would say coming from Ultimate Wax, maybe the hybrid sealant would be a good choice. I would expect it to last longer and have a more hydrophobic finish, maybe even increased saturation and slickness - but it doesn’t mean that’s something you prefer, it can be a personal choice.
There’s no harm in trying it out and just seeing if you prefer it or not, it’s not going to harm your car paint so I’d just try it out and see if it appeals to you.

I just wanted to drop a quick note and let you know that I am watching things play out in Australia and it is disturbing to me. I think of you often and keep you in my prayers as your commentary in the previous video was that what you're seeing in your country is heartbreaking to you. God is great, God is good! He hasn't forgotten you , it's important that you keep to faith. As I was waking the other morning, I had been praying for weeks regarding this world and what a mess it's in. I heard his voice in my heart and mind say "what use is your faith if you never have an opportunity to use it". Those are actually very encouraging words that I would say to everyone at this time, if we have faith we understand it is given to us by the power of the Holy Spirit In order to endure, to survive, and eventually to win.. It doesn't mean the journey is going to be easy, it just means you're gonna come out on top. In Jesus holy name, be well and at peace in Christ.
