How to reconnect you Mitsubishi ac unit to the Wi-fi for MELcloaud app.
This easy to follow how to guide is to show you step by step the process of reconnecting your Wi-fi module to the WIFI.
Here is a full video transcription..
Hi and welcome to the Sub-cool TH-cam channel.
Toda we're going to be reconnecting a WI-FI module if it's lost connection from you previous router. So before we start, we must make sure we got a 2.5 GHz connection and the MEL cloud iphone and android app on our phones. we then come to the module, which is usually located in the top right hand corner of each individual unit. If its not in the top right-hand corner and it's an older module, it will be located in the bottom right hand corner.
So as we come to the module we will see four different LED lights and two different buttons, the reset and mode buttons.
As a first preliminary point, we reset the module for 12 seconds. this will enable us to put the module back to factory settings. We should see the unit and mode lights blink as i let go of the rest. That mean initialization has been successful. Once we get back to the solid unit light we the will hold down mode for 10 to 12 seconds until we see mode goes to a consistent two second pattern like this. We then let it go , That's now put the module into access point mode.
So, we now need to look at the back of the module for the SSID and the Key, which are both written here at the bottom. We will then go onto our mobile phone, We should then see the module come up, which marries up with this number on the back. We then connect to the module, using this pin here. Remembering it is case sensitive.
We then hit join once you've entered the password and this will take us to a connection the module.
If your phone does say this internet provider does not have any internet connection like mine has please stay connected to the module.
We then need to go onto our iPhone safari or Android google chrome or whichever web browser you use and type this Ip address in such 192.168.11.1 and hit enter. So this is our configuration page and as we can see, at the moment it's telling us the current SSID is default. So, what we need to do is find our SSID within this drop down list, using this small arrow here. This will show you all of the available networks. Click on your network password and input you network password and then insure you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click submit.
This will then send the signal back to the module and if we've inputted the details correctly and module should reset, like it has done. the lights will begin to blink. If this is the case like this module we're now connected to the internet.

I’ve recently had a Mitsubishi multisplit installed and it’s making a really weird noise in the outdoor unit. It’s not coming from the fan but the condenser side (it’s much louder than the fan noise).
It’s almost like u can hear the liquid travel through the pipes, like having air in a home radiator system.
    Is this normal?

Thank you for your comment, it seems that you have a Mitsubishi heavy unit. Unfortunately Mitsubishi Heavy and Mitsubishi Electric are two different manufactures so Melcloud wouldn't work for you. Mitsubishi Heavy have there own wifi connection app called "smart M-Air" on the app store and google play store. Install this app and follow the connect prompts. If you still experience any trouble the best thing to do is contact your installer. We may make a connection video to Mitsubishi Heavy in the future. If you find this helpful please make sure you subscribe :)

    • @theoutspokenengineer
      @theoutspokenengineer  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

The units wifi module can be very temperamental when it comes to mesh systems. things to check 1. you have 2.4ghz connection of the mesh turned on.
      2. the closest booster to the unit is the one you are connecting to. (we have has a case before where our client changed the 'booster' to the name of the room to easily identify it to connect to.
      3. you have good signal in the room the unit is in.
try resetting the module again and start again failing that i have had it before where a hard reset works. to do this you need to turn off the isolator that should be located next to you condenser for 30 seconds then try reconnect.
