Try not to take the “rankings” too seriously as I kind of took on too much in this video. It’s both almost an Imaginarium tier list as well as best DPS, off field, and support of each element and as a result came out more confusing than it needs to be. I think there’s still good content in there but overall confusing. I’ll do better next time!

Freminet is design for superconduct conduct teams. Build him physical and pair him with an off field electro unit. His E. Skill and Ult both hit with a cryo for a superconduct but then the last hit is a physical boosted attack.
@@baronsionis6855They could be a shielder like Layla, Yanfei or Thoma or they could be supports that fit into specific comps such as charged attack teams, hyperbloom teams(like nilou) or something along that line.
Something that Imaginarium Theater taught me is that I have a MIGHTY NEED for more artifact sets. I have sooo many characters that just share a few decent sets.
I think this is the weakness of whales. They may be able to stack up on constellations or get every characters, but you won't have enough time farming artifacts for all of them. On top of that, the limitation on how many artifact you can have in your storage is really limiting on how many you can keep before you are forced to fodder them into other artifacts to make room while farming. They definitely need to increase the storage limit on the artifacts or have a way to liquidate very bad artifacts onto other material that can upgrade artifacts.
After one year most of my 4* characters are still lvl20, even some of my 5* characters don't have gear. I have to farm exp, mora, skill material, ascension material, weapon material, then farming gear. It's easy if someone started playing 2+ years ago or a spender.
@baronsionis6855 I mean, it's not like it's in a horrible state. I pretty comfortably 36-star abyss every cycle and I still full cleared IT easily enough. I just started leveling characters after I had enough artifacts for abyss because I find that more enjoyable. That said, I actually have a reason to have each character have their own artifact set now.
Then there's me constantly stuck at 1800/1800 with many "good potential pieces" but not enough Exp to fully level those pieces up. I'm sure i'm not alone.
It’s been said a hundred times but Sigewinne really should’ve been tuned down a little (constellation-wise) and made into a 4*, it’s ridiculous that there’s only 3 Hydro 4*s this late into the game, with another hydro 5* on the way.

Only Baizhu can fill this role and I'm glad that he is now just an option now. I don't mean to offend but you're far too out of touch being in the meta for so long that not all 5 star needs to be broken or meta changing to be a 5 star or not
i really like yae miko for imaginarium theater because of her ability to be played off field while also being a serviceable on fielder, esp if dendro's there. not many units have that flexibility and those that do (ganyu, ayato) rely on their burst to do their off field stuff and therefore need their build changed to work well in that alternate role. its so ncie when all you have are a bunch of off fielders and miko
I would put Venti right behind Kazuha. Venti's value has gone way up with Imaginarium Theater because there's a lot of trash mobs than can be sucked up by him. Also supports are way more valuable than on field dps's because you only need 1 on field dps but need 3 supports for each team.
Sigewinne should have been a four star character. The problem is Neuvillette cares for her too much so he gave her a star thus demoting him from a six star unit to a five star. What a stand up dragon boi

Anemo travelers burst is actually so helpful for those monolith floors, and it’s not really a DPS loss like in the abyss because you don’t need nearly as much dps (And of course he’s a free character that can hold VV)

I thought it would be funny if that happens, but i realize it's still redeemable to some extent considering we can bring guest stars (different element than the 3 featured), plus the possibility of innate elemental auras on opponents like Slimes, Shields, Infused weapons etc.
So much this. A whole lot of characters don't work without their support characters or even without dedicated healer. And a lot of 4* are support for a specific 5* character or/and a specific playstyle. Amount of least somewhat universal characters is very low.
I mean, I largely disagree, because the game mode is set up to allow that. The Abyss has such tight DPS checks that you need to use a signature team - good to great units with meta supports, or meta units with good to great supports. But Imaginarium theater, to its credit, is pretty easy DPS wise. A unit like Nilou who, in the abyss is worthless without dendro supports and hydro only, probably is going to be a fine and even good addition to an imaginarium theater team damage wise. She’s hardly a dead unit, but you just need to try to use her outside of boss phases.
@@madzaisaand just the fact that so many characters are made with their elemental reactions in mind, pyro being a GREAT example with the first imaginarium theatre, overload is notoriously bad and many pyro characters are made with a big focus on elemental reactions (mainly vape for the many pyro dps’s but thoma and dehya are also pretty niche picks only really used in burn melt teams or burgeon team)

On Hard, f.e, "free" main DPS like Arlechino or Clorinde are pretty much useless against second boss, due to level 80 being not enough to deal with it. So you need them yourself, level 90, or another main DPS like Hu Tao, who require at least a somewhat working team to do her DPS. So you either need a proper "DPS-checked" main DPS unit, or pray to RND so you can have so strong combo like Bennett-Zianling-Fishl.

Great video in its entirety but I love seeing Jello Impact give Charlotte the respect she deserves. She's one of my favorite units to run with furina or applying Cryo and I find a lot of people sleeping on her.
If we are talking about imaginarium theatre Neuvillette is the best hydro and not furina. With current dps requirements a c0r0 Neuvillette with an average build can easily solo most of the rooms in theatre meaning you can put any bad/unbuilt units that you just raised quickly to pad the character count with him and you'll still face no issues. He requires no good supports to work so you get to save those to help other damage dealers. Basically he helps a lot with team building and character management. If we are talking about anything except imaginarium theatre where you can actually make real teams furina is the best hydro because she can be used with almost everyone and make them strong.. But in the theatre? You better pray you get a good healer in your selection. And one of your decent dps characters for her to buff..
Ehh furina still just has more value because imaginarium favors sub dps way more for flexibility and her buffs are insane especially with cons, which helps with wtv dps you’re stuck with. There’s a healer option for every element so I don’t think that will be an issue for furina and they’d be dumb to make a anti furina theatre when most of fontaines dps even neuvi have similar hp loss and gain mechanics as she does.
Her damage being on her elemental skill plus not needing to be triggered by normal attacks really shines in random non-synergistic teams. Plus we need a lot of characters, so most likely people who have both Neuvillette and Furina would bring both of them anyway, regardless of who is "best". The opponents don't have a lot of HP compared to Abyss, so her Burst isn't as necessary in comparison.
@@Marz333 Her buff is heavily dependent on the healer unless she is c2... And the fact that she needs specific type of character to go along with her in a gamemode where you get characters at random already puts her below the character that can do it all on his own and can use any 3 characters you can't find a purpose for otherwise. Also yes there's a healer for every element, but are you gonna stack your selection of 18 chars with like 5 healers just for furina then use one of em and have 4 others essentially be dead weight? Or you'll put one or maybe two and then hope you pull them out? To be fair we still haven't had a rotation with hydro available so only time will tell, but what i can tell you right now is that during this rotation most of my problems were having mismatched supports and dpses in my selection. In those moments if i had neuvillette i wouldn't care about the mismatching suports id just play him with anyone and smash 2 chambers get more characters hopefully solve the problem. If i had furina id still be ducked because i don't have a healer available.

But this is a theoretical "if i had to pick one to have on my account for this specific gamemode who would it be" scenario. And yeah you're right im sure her dps will shine through but it kinda drops off fast if you have no healers and its not enough by itself to clear a room so you still need to burn either a decent dps character or a good sub dps character or maybe even both depending on investment..
This is a really good point. Furina without a healer is not that good. Being at 50% hp isn’t necessarily that critical in this mode but she can’t utilize her burst if there isn’t a healer. Although if u put all the healers there are just for furina, she can probably solo the game mode. And those dead weight (the rest of the healers) can then be part of Neuvi’s team. If u have them both, that is.
So now that I leveled a bunch of unused 4*s for Imaginarium Theater, I have a new problem... I need to learn how to gear and play all these characters.

It's crazy how hydro has the best character in each category: Best dps: Neuvillette Best support; furina Best sub dps: yelan/furina/xingqiu 2nd/3rd best healer: kokomi Best Reaction driver and dps : nilou Honorable mention to dendro and pyro for having one contender for best in each role as well: Dps: arlecchino-alhaitam Sub dps: xianling-nahida Support: Bennett-nahida/baizhu Healer: bennet(not the best by far but it's still a great addition bonus for what he does) -baizhu (the best if we are only condidering pure healing) Reaction dps and driver: alhaitam/nahida (or anything that can run good hyperbloom)
@@Lilithmorningstarq me who have all (exept clorinde):🤨 In pure team(beat possible team for each) damage to single target arlecchino has the highest damage then hu tao followed by Neuvillette and then alhaitam In any other situation than single target Neuvillette is the strongest and then you can argue for other teams and characters for secend and below places+ Neuvillette has so much QoL that even if he wasn't as strong as he is he would still be a top choice

17:47 honestly she might be like raiden. half sub dps/buffer, half onfield dps. considering their patterns with sub dps/support archons, but also only dps pyro 5 stars, seems the most likely imo tbh, if she had a similar kit to dehya it would cracked. cuz like.. in THEORY her kit is great - off field pyro damage on skill, dps on burst. if the pyro archon is basically just dehya with actually good scalings and maybe the addition of buffs, she’d be cracked
I saved about 250 ish pulls on Raiden's last banner and C6ed Chevy in the process and can confirm she is better than Bennett. She does large dam, large heal, large buff and is not bound by the stupid circle, also looks cooler.
This is real actually. I tested all my Arlecchino teams and an overload team with an underbuilt Chevreuse did the most damage and comfort. Adding Bennet in a Chevy team would be like Yelan & Xingqiu or Yae & Fischl tho. It's amazing.

From what I have seen all archons have followed a pattern of the more common use of the elements as well as a sub dps I would say the pyro archon will fallow a similar scheme which would be dps and sub dps I hope she has an off field play style but I also don’t think it will become that way
I see it like this, at least for accounts that are barely clearing the character requirements or struggling to get max primos: Some units are good for the abyss-style timed bossfights, which are 100% the hardest part. Some units are good for the less demanding intermediate chambers. You're only going to use units twice in most cases. Think in terms of building an abyss-style "dream" team (made of any units, rental, friend, yours) that will clear the boss FIRST, and only then fill the roster with flex units and supports who can prop up your fill-in DPS / the Rental DPS or onfield themselves in the middle chambers to SAVE YOUR BEST TEAM for the hardest content. If C6 Faru + Wanderer is your "dream" team that you have built and ready to go, don't skip Faru for Lynette just because Lynette is more flexible in other teams. So far it's pretty reasonable to expect you'll get 3/4 of your best team by the 8th chamber and can pick buffs specifically for them. The timer is unforgiving and you will need the dream team. Go ahead and use a scuffed anemo traveler DPS team or whatever you can scrape together to barely-clear in the mid-chambers to save at least one charge on the big guns. tl;dr pick to clear boss chambers
Other than disagreeing with putting the general banner units in the 4 star tiers, Hydro and Electro I have no issue with. I think Venti might actually be the best 5 star Anemo for Theatre, I'm not joking. Theatre did so much for him, he's extremely potent in this mode compared to Spiral so I would have put Venti, Kazuha, and Xianyun in those top spots in that order. Xiao is fantastic, and I personally have his dream team myself and it's very effective, but Xiao and evening Wanderer relies too much on specific supports for maximal effectiveness. You ought to value a unit's splashability more within Theatre ranking. Xianyun enables tons of characters to become DPS's that might underperform if attempted otherwise (Diluc/Chongyun/Razor/Gaming for example). Your Anemo 4 stars were fine but I'd replace Jean with Faruzan - even the trial faruzan we just had in this cycle was perfectly servicable and there's lots of strong Anemo units for her to amplify. Cryo 5 stars were fine. For 4 stars I'd probably replace Layla with Kaeya myself, but I don't fault you for your choice, it's perfectly reasonable. For Pyro, I agree with your top 3 (and only because you made a great point that Pyro will not always be paired with Electro in the future, presumably), but I'd put Thoma above Xiangling. Xiangling really likes specific teammates (particularly Bennet), but you won't always guarantee the best comp for her. I like Thoma more for his diversity, ease of use, splashability, and defensive perks. Haha, to your point about the Archon - every Archon with the exception of Raiden has focused on off field capabilities. Even Raiden can be built to be used off-field. I think the assumption that Mavuika will be an off-field dps is a well founded one based on that. Your actual placements for the 5 stars for Pyro were fine - to be honest it's kind of hard to mess that one up. ...I did not realize there was only 3 5star Dendro, wow. Lol. For both 4 and 5 star I have no complaints either except swapping Tighnari with Collei since I don't think he should count. For Geo, replace Noelle with Yunjin and put her in 3rd place - Noelle relies heavily on Furina to be effective and Geo may not always run with Hydro. For 5 stars, I'd actually replace Albedo with Chiori. Chiori's maximal dps potential is unlocked only with a construct, which only 3 characters provide currently and that may not be available when you need to field her. Albedo is a great general unit to put either on his own or with others, constructs or not, and his Burst even gives an EM boost, which has some utility. Obviously normally Chiori is the better pick but I think Albedo is more flexible unless you have C1 Chiori - but to be fair, the difference in their Theatre effectiveness is not so far apart that I'm gonna roast you for picking Chiori - just sharing my two cents.
She shines in optimal teams (Melt enabler, Freeze battery etc), but in Imaginarium Theater it's hard to form optimal teams, and subdps with good damage would most likely be relatively preferred. The opponents have lower damage compared to Abyss too, so besides non-optimal use of her offensive utility, her defensive utility also has less value here.
I've been on a grind to get everyone up to Ascension Level 6 (already have all the boss drops for my roster and shortlist), and get everyone's Talents up to Lv.6, which the simplification to the Mondstadt and Liyue domains will be a great boon for.
Something that has worked decently for me in IT is stacking off-field dps. You don't know what team you're going to get so you don't know if you can actually build a team around a main DPS. I've been stuck with too many on-field dps/hypercarries which has ruined my runs, but when you stack lots of off-fields you still get a lot of value from all of them even if individually they don't deal as much damage as an on-fielder. Off-fields have way higher value for me in IT than on-fielders and I think I will start pulling for more of them.
I’ve been taking a break from Genshin but since I started I have felt a yelan shaped hole in my account. Love her character, need her dps/ versatility, and want her overworld. She is coming back and I have a guaranteed and enough wishes to hop into the game and get her. Cannot wait. Those armpits will be mine
Well in actuality standard 5*s aren't guarenteed. I've been playing for 3 yrs now & no Tighnari or Qiqi (not that I'm complaining, but still...). I'm a low-spender/f2p, spent some $ b4 but not in a while.

Then why are you on a meta channel in the first place? If you don’t look at meta at least a tiny bit it’s going to be hard to clear the hardest content, which is the reason why so many people use Furina, Kazuha, Nahida, Yelan and so on

Justifying pulling for characters because of Imaginarium Theater is not the right way to go about it in my opinion. Who cares if we don't get to participate in the "hardest" IT difficulty? I'd rather focus on characters that I like and enjoy than pull for units just so I can complete the 18 character requirements and get a few extra freemogems. What's the next step? Everybody is gonna end up with the same account with the same characters?
19:35 probably just misspoke, but Yaoyao is *not* always free, unless you're talking about lantern rite rewards then yes she's technically free (you can argue this is "always" once a year 😂).
Notice how in every slot the best 5 star is an archon (ignore anemo). So if you ever feel like you're lacking a good character just pull for the archon because you won't regret it.
Siggy is not bad for theater, if you meet her energy needs. Wide area cone, low hp mobs, reactions screwed over due to mode limitations. And if you have a Yae or Fischl, and no Kuki equiv, can benefit from her passive.
Yae is better than Clor due to off field factor. With Kuki, dendro is not the key factor. Hydro or pyro access is. With either, she is great. Without, not so much.
Thing is, the Theater is so laughably easy that i finished it with characters i forgot to put artifacts on...there’s no need to stress about it imo I mean if someone only has like 4 characters build than yeah, that will be a problem but unless you started very recently which is not likely the case, that shouln’t be a thing The whole mode is a bit of a dissapointment tbh, not bad but it took me like 20 minutes to clear

At this point they should put albedo, shenhe, Eula and maybe klee in the standard banner if is so hard for them to ever appear in a banner, specially with the amount of characters that imaginarium theater needs, maybe in the future they will need to do this
@@justawalter9752 And the others were designed with Bennett in mind.. Hu Tao straight up gets an atk buff from her own skill and instead of building em, you just build hp pyro crit shimenawa.. Diluc literally likes spending on field time because you can constantly spam skill ult normals and still do great dmg .. if you built them you'd know.. klee and gaming are clunky and barely do dmg without reactions, gaming especially has very little hits, that you want to buff and cause reactions with.. also yanfei has a bad shield because you can't build hp when it's burst reliant (high er needs) and as a dmg dealer without vape , she isn't that great, you also need a lot of stamina..
@@surreabel Gaming literally has the same issue as Diluc and Hu Tao. He has designed with vape in mind. I’m not saying you can’t clear with them but I am saying that others that are not relying on a certain element can outperform them relatively easily. I don’t know if you know this but Klee synergises a lot better with non vape teams than Hu Tao, Diluc and Gaming do. I don’t know where you got that she needs reactions. She literally applies too much pyro reliably vape with solo hydro. In terms of calcs both Klee mono pyro and Chevreuse completely outpace the aforementioned characters with non vape. Same goes for Lyney, same goes for Arlecchino. You can still bruteforce it but for most players Hu Tao, Gaming or Diluc just are not good choices for Theatre.
@@justawalter9752 Klee's base dmg isn't high, she doesn't need reactions to buff herself but she needs her team to buff her and cause reactions from the pyro she applies.. or maybe a Xianyun team.. her raw dmg without bennett is even worse, she's slow to play as well.. also you need to be a really good player if you want to clear with Lyney, because while he can get away without Bennett (if you build Marechaussee and lots of atk stats) and he has dmg bonus in his kit, he can still get knocked around and you can't always get the sheet dmg.. but that depends on the player.. also I still maintain, Diluc and Hu Tao has more than enough raw dmg and not clunky to play.. I literally cleared with those two (and Benny Arle Xiangling) last Imaginarium..
@@surreabel I can bruteforce stuff with my Diluc as well but it doesn’t change that he’s a terrible dps at base without vape or plunge. Hu Tao still is usable enough without vape but still not as good as Lyney nor Klee. The way you talk about them kinda shows that you’ve never played either of them. She’s good enough to clear nonetheless and whenever we do get a hydro+pyro theatre she’s gonna be pretty strong. Klee and Lyney just synergise very well with their own element which is always better for theatre than a character that primarily synergises with one or two elements
a revelation of mine was the gaming-lynette combo for the ley line defense. lynette taunts the enemey while my unbuilt gaming deals a decent amount of damage and self heals they practically saved me by being both level 70, level 2 talent, no artifact levels, level 50 weapon (gaming is c4 tho, lynette c1)
@@HughDancy-rl5sy i mean I didn't really got the bonuses i just finished it with the necessary ley line hp but for me i built lynette with energy recharge have the other two character be the battery for both gaming and lynette to have their burst always ready pick the robots enemy thingy immediately attack the short range enemy that always jump so that their attack would be targeted towards you, the other one would attack the ley line but not that much. put lynnete's burst in the middle and this will taunt both then attack with gaming (his cons actually help so much because he solo carried this team with no healing but you can choose a healer like sayu dori for more heals) don't deal too much damage! lmao it will be a 2 minute match but since you only need 2 characters you can use this battle to scrap your least built characters
I'm mostly concerned for my lack of cryo and dendro characters, I'm in the process of building some cryo characters but I don't actually have dendro options. It's my least favorite element so I've got the characters built that I have but the only really good built one is Tighnari currently.
Hydro: I completely agree. With everything said there. Maybe with the exception of how Candace is useful, as I have no Arlecchino, I can't even test out the team you mentioned. Electro: Yes. 100% agreed. Anemo: this is a tad bit longer. Lynette needs her C1 if we want her to have CC, and her C6 if we want her to deal proper damage as a driver for whatever team we run her in. I'd definietly put Jean higher. Probably the anemo traveler too. For limited anemo 5 stars, I'd most definietly put Xianyun on top. She can turn ANY claymore user into a competent plunge dps, meaning she can enable some characters of most elements. (still no hydro claymore, but other than that) Cryo: This is gonna be a rant. Oh Cryo. My favourite element. I won't stand for the cat disrespect. Diona is the most versatile character in the entire game when it comes to how many roles a single character can fulfill. Healer, shielder, cryo battery, EM buffer. Sure, Charlotte heals better, and maybe has some better off-field cryo application, but unless it's a freeze team, (or a Furina team more specifically) it'd hardly matter. Layla has stronger shields, but she can't heal you up if you messed up the shield timing once, and got damage in. Rozaria has a crit rate bonus for the team, which I can see being rated as best cryo off-field unit, for a DPS check at least, but I'd say that the EM buff from Diona can be just as useful for a lot of reaction based teams. If I were to order these ("4 star" cryo) characters, my order would look something like this: Diona > Rozaria > Charlotte = Layla > Kaeya > Chongyun > Qiqi > Freminet > Mika > Aloy Qiqi can perform pretty decently in that 1 Clorinde team, but that's about all she's good for other than straight up a unit for keeping you alive. Freminet is a decent physical DPS, and he's the only unit in the game who can have a level 14 talent. Albeit, only if you crown his normal attack, have him on a high enough constellation, and have Childe on the same team, which'd make it kind of irrelewant, that his normal attacks are so powerful. As one of his constellation bonuses gives his normal attacks the extra 3 levels, not one of his abilities. As for the 5 stars: Ganyu is the GOAT. In every meaning of the word. I'd never use her as off-field DPS though, if she's on the team, she carries the team. Her damage output is insane. I still rely on my Ganyu to clear abyss to this day, since her first banner when I got her. I spent all my in-game resources on her, and just barely managed to scrape together enough to get her on the last day of her banner. She's the one character I never put off my team without good reason, like requireing an elemental check, enemy being cryo resistant, or something similar. for Wriothesley, idk, don't have him, his playstyle looked fun at first, didn't really feel as fun during his tryout thingie :/ He's in the same boat as Heizou in this regard. Looks very fun to play, feels meh. Ayaka is pretty good, but mostly only for freeze. Alternatively for melt she could technically work, but it'd be harder to get a good team going for that. For reverse melt, just go Ganyu. Shenhe is kind of "the" off-field cryo unit, the one who doesn't even want to be on field to work. Pretty good in that regard, but I heard her output is questionable. Her buffing is also only any good for Ayaka and Wriothesley I heard, dunno why Ganyu wasn't included in that list. As I have no Shenhe, I can't even test it out properly. Eula is also a great unit, but with how high physical resistance some units have these days, she 100% needs an electro off-field unit with her to even function at all. When she pops off though, she does it with some pretty darn huge numbers. Pyro: oh boy... half a rant "4 stars": I inderstand putting Benny and Xiangling on top of the list. They're awesome. If it's an overload team, so is Chevreuse, as she's a built in VV shred, which is insanely powerful. But putting Yanfei and Thoma who are basically only shield utilities (for Yanfei, even that only at C4 or above) Diluc? no fam. Gaming over Diluc? Even less so. Gaming is like budget Diluc. Dehya on the other hand, now that's an interesting character. I've seen a hyper invested Dehya, who f*cking demolishes everything, with every hit of her burst hitting over 40k. But yes, unless it's at a very dedicated level, she's mostly a deffensive utility, similar to Thoma in a way. And Xinyan... oh Xinyan. Such a great character design, but such a poorly planned kit. Her kit would want her to be a physical dps/support, but pyro has no place in physical damage teams, as that team relies on superconduct for shred, which is cryo + electro. Amber's pyro application on her burst can be useful though. There were abyss setups in the pastwhere I brought her in for that alone, so she can get cryo shields off opponents really damn fast. limited 5 stars: Arlecchino definietly the top, but unless Hu Tao has her C1, her stamina issues might act up, so I'd probably put Yoimiya and Lyney higher than her. That said, Lyney kinda goes mostly in mono-pyro with swirls for shred, or possibly with an overload and chevreuse for shred. But if the elements don't match up for either of those, his damage might suffer a lot. Hydro could work for him as well, but as he's a charged attack spammer like Ganyu, Yelan and Xingqiu won't really work as well with him as they'd for Arlecchino, Yoimiya, and Hu Tao. Dendro: mostly agreed. 4 stars: But I don't see how Kirara is so high up. I'd say her shields are nothing that impressive to write home about, and her off-field dendro application isn't that great either. I'd say Yaoyao > Tighnari > Dendro Traveler > Collei > Kirara >>>> Kaveh Limited 5 stars: not too many options, but they're all pretty damn great. Nahida is just somewhat better than the rest. Also, Nahida is straight up adorable, AND SILENT WHEN AFK!!! That is a huge selling point of hers! Geo: mostly agreed. I'd still pick Albedo over Chiori in a Navia team though, for that 2nd geo slot. Obviously Zhongli is the best choice for it, but those 2 are compared a lot. Chiori can't use her full effectiveness without geo constructs or constellations. Albedo can. TLDR: I'd rate Xianyun, Diona, and Diluc much higher than you did.Those characters might not necessarily be the best in their category (at least Diluc), but definietly one of the best. And wtf did you mean Gaming > Diluc? Gaming is budget Diluc! and Diluc is bootleg Batman!

I actually think Wanderer is better than Xiao cause I find him a bit more flexible. Sure, they're both hypercarries that suffer damage loss when they're not in their optimal teams, but Wanderer can also be a driver for off field DPS such as Yelan or Raiden, and if you have pyro or cryo he's bound to have some decent buffs. And since he's not burst reliant, I think he's a bit easier to build and pair up with different characters cause he doesn't require that much energy. Sure, he's a bit wonky to play without a shield and in Imaginarium theater a shield is not a guarantee but personally I think his flexibility makes up for that.
Just when I talked myself out of trying for Yelan you talk me right back into it... Let's see if will power or peer pressure win the day. (I have Furina and C6 Xingqiu, I don't have Kazuha or Zhongli... it'd definitely be smarter to go for them.)
Lisa above keqing ngl. Using keqing as sub dps doesnt feel nice. Lisa just slap a bunch of em and thrilling tales and she deals good reaction damage (as she scales with EM) and buff your main dps while reducing def. She’s lowkey underrated. But i understand because other 4 stars electro tend to be so good. I have her c1 too and she generates so much energy in theatre that one E is enough to get her burst back
As someone who is a catalyst main (yae miko and Wriothesley), I vehemently dislike neuvillette’s gameplay. That could be because I’m on controller, which also adds to why I like Miko’s kit so much, but I genuinely dislike Neuvilette’s gameplay :’)
Ahh... me who has all the limited dendro characters, the top five hydro, and 2/4 of the electro limited 5* (lost on Clorinde's banner and never pulled Cyno because I couldn't really play him very well in trial) clearly tells me my preferences. LOL But also why I've been using the hyperbloom crutch (with ZL's shield and Koko's heals) throughout this first year of playing.
Faruzan is really an auto-include for theater if you have her and an anemo DPS build. Pairing her with a DPS isn't hard in my experience, especially since it's very likely that there is at least one in the main cast when it's an anemo cycle. Should you build Faruzan just for theater though, even if you don't have your own DPS to bring with her? Probably not. If you have her C6, then maybe. But if you have C6 Faruzan, why tf do you not have an anemo DPS built?
Kuki should be lower in imaginarium. Her best team requires 3 different elements which is rare to actually have. Same scenario with Childe, Nilou, etc.

Try not to take the “rankings” too seriously as I kind of took on too much in this video. It’s both almost an Imaginarium tier list as well as best DPS, off field, and support of each element and as a result came out more confusing than it needs to be. I think there’s still good content in there but overall confusing. I’ll do better next time!

Freminet is design for superconduct conduct teams. Build him physical and pair him with an off field electro unit. His E. Skill and Ult both hit with a cryo for a superconduct but then the last hit is a physical boosted attack.

Something that Imaginarium Theater taught me is that I have a MIGHTY NEED for more artifact sets. I have sooo many characters that just share a few decent sets.
Out of curiosity what were you farming the past while if your account is in such a state?
I think this is the weakness of whales. They may be able to stack up on constellations or get every characters, but you won't have enough time farming artifacts for all of them.
On top of that, the limitation on how many artifact you can have in your storage is really limiting on how many you can keep before you are forced to fodder them into other artifacts to make room while farming. They definitely need to increase the storage limit on the artifacts or have a way to liquidate very bad artifacts onto other material that can upgrade artifacts.
After one year most of my 4* characters are still lvl20, even some of my 5* characters don't have gear. I have to farm exp, mora, skill material, ascension material, weapon material, then farming gear. It's easy if someone started playing 2+ years ago or a spender.
@baronsionis6855 I mean, it's not like it's in a horrible state. I pretty comfortably 36-star abyss every cycle and I still full cleared IT easily enough. I just started leveling characters after I had enough artifacts for abyss because I find that more enjoyable. That said, I actually have a reason to have each character have their own artifact set now.
Then there's me constantly stuck at 1800/1800 with many "good potential pieces" but not enough Exp to fully level those pieces up. I'm sure i'm not alone.

i really like yae miko for imaginarium theater because of her ability to be played off field while also being a serviceable on fielder, esp if dendro's there. not many units have that flexibility and those that do (ganyu, ayato) rely on their burst to do their off field stuff and therefore need their build changed to work well in that alternate role. its so ncie when all you have are a bunch of off fielders and miko

I would put Venti right behind Kazuha. Venti's value has gone way up with Imaginarium Theater because there's a lot of trash mobs than can be sucked up by him. Also supports are way more valuable than on field dps's because you only need 1 on field dps but need 3 supports for each team.
You want 2 dps much of the time, because no ideal teams and all those limited damage windows characters.

Anemo travelers burst is actually so helpful for those monolith floors, and it’s not really a DPS loss like in the abyss because you don’t need nearly as much dps

I just realized imaginarium theater is even worse than I thought because lots of chararcters are specialized.
So much this. A whole lot of characters don't work without their support characters or even without dedicated healer. And a lot of 4* are support for a specific 5* character or/and a specific playstyle. Amount of least somewhat universal characters is very low.

I mean, I largely disagree, because the game mode is set up to allow that. The Abyss has such tight DPS checks that you need to use a signature team - good to great units with meta supports, or meta units with good to great supports. But Imaginarium theater, to its credit, is pretty easy DPS wise. A unit like Nilou who, in the abyss is worthless without dendro supports and hydro only, probably is going to be a fine and even good addition to an imaginarium theater team damage wise. She’s hardly a dead unit, but you just need to try to use her outside of boss phases.
@@madzaisaand just the fact that so many characters are made with their elemental reactions in mind, pyro being a GREAT example with the first imaginarium theatre, overload is notoriously bad and many pyro characters are made with a big focus on elemental reactions (mainly vape for the many pyro dps’s but thoma and dehya are also pretty niche picks only really used in burn melt teams or burgeon team)

On Hard, f.e, "free" main DPS like Arlechino or Clorinde are pretty much useless against second boss, due to level 80 being not enough to deal with it. So you need them yourself, level 90, or another main DPS like Hu Tao, who require at least a somewhat working team to do her DPS. So you either need a proper "DPS-checked" main DPS unit, or pray to RND so you can have so strong combo like Bennett-Zianling-Fishl.

She's one of my favorite units to run with furina or applying Cryo and I find a lot of people sleeping on her.

If we are talking about imaginarium theatre Neuvillette is the best hydro and not furina. With current dps requirements a c0r0 Neuvillette with an average build can easily solo most of the rooms in theatre meaning you can put any bad/unbuilt units that you just raised quickly to pad the character count with him and you'll still face no issues. He requires no good supports to work so you get to save those to help other damage dealers. Basically he helps a lot with team building and character management. If we are talking about anything except imaginarium theatre where you can actually make real teams furina is the best hydro because she can be used with almost everyone and make them strong.. But in the theatre? You better pray you get a good healer in your selection. And one of your decent dps characters for her to buff..
Ehh furina still just has more value because imaginarium favors sub dps way more for flexibility and her buffs are insane especially with cons, which helps with wtv dps you’re stuck with. There’s a healer option for every element so I don’t think that will be an issue for furina and they’d be dumb to make a anti furina theatre when most of fontaines dps even neuvi have similar hp loss and gain mechanics as she does.
Her damage being on her elemental skill plus not needing to be triggered by normal attacks really shines in random non-synergistic teams. Plus we need a lot of characters, so most likely people who have both Neuvillette and Furina would bring both of them anyway, regardless of who is "best". The opponents don't have a lot of HP compared to Abyss, so her Burst isn't as necessary in comparison.
@@Marz333 Her buff is heavily dependent on the healer unless she is c2... And the fact that she needs specific type of character to go along with her in a gamemode where you get characters at random already puts her below the character that can do it all on his own and can use any 3 characters you can't find a purpose for otherwise. Also yes there's a healer for every element, but are you gonna stack your selection of 18 chars with like 5 healers just for furina then use one of em and have 4 others essentially be dead weight? Or you'll put one or maybe two and then hope you pull them out?
To be fair we still haven't had a rotation with hydro available so only time will tell, but what i can tell you right now is that during this rotation most of my problems were having mismatched supports and dpses in my selection.
In those moments if i had neuvillette i wouldn't care about the mismatching suports id just play him with anyone and smash 2 chambers get more characters hopefully solve the problem.
If i had furina id still be ducked because i don't have a healer available.

But this is a theoretical "if i had to pick one to have on my account for this specific gamemode who would it be" scenario. And yeah you're right im sure her dps will shine through but it kinda drops off fast if you have no healers and its not enough by itself to clear a room so you still need to burn either a decent dps character or a good sub dps character or maybe even both depending on investment..
This is a really good point. Furina without a healer is not that good. Being at 50% hp isn’t necessarily that critical in this mode but she can’t utilize her burst if there isn’t a healer.
Although if u put all the healers there are just for furina, she can probably solo the game mode. And those dead weight (the rest of the healers) can then be part of Neuvi’s team. If u have them both, that is.
So now that I leveled a bunch of unused 4*s for Imaginarium Theater, I have a new problem... I need to learn how to gear and play all these characters.

In pure team(beat possible team for each) damage to single target arlecchino has the highest damage then hu tao followed by Neuvillette and then alhaitam
In any other situation than single target Neuvillette is the strongest and then you can argue for other teams and characters for secend and below places+ Neuvillette has so much QoL that even if he wasn't as strong as he is he would still be a top choice

honestly she might be like raiden. half sub dps/buffer, half onfield dps. considering their patterns with sub dps/support archons, but also only dps pyro 5 stars, seems the most likely imo
tbh, if she had a similar kit to dehya it would cracked. cuz like.. in THEORY her kit is great - off field pyro damage on skill, dps on burst. if the pyro archon is basically just dehya with actually good scalings and maybe the addition of buffs, she’d be cracked

I saved about 250 ish pulls on Raiden's last banner and C6ed Chevy in the process and can confirm she is better than Bennett. She does large dam, large heal, large buff and is not bound by the stupid circle, also looks cooler.
She can also be used to shoot at minerals in the overworld
This is real actually. I tested all my Arlecchino teams and an overload team with an underbuilt Chevreuse did the most damage and comfort. Adding Bennet in a Chevy team would be like Yelan & Xingqiu or Yae & Fischl tho. It's amazing.
Is she only good at C6? I have one at C0 with Arlechinno thinking of getting cons in her rerun

I would argue that Faruzan and all the mono-element supports are really good bc you can just use that one element (or two)
From what I have seen all archons have followed a pattern of the more common use of the elements as well as a sub dps I would say the pyro archon will fallow a similar scheme which would be dps and sub dps I hope she has an off field play style but I also don’t think it will become that way
I see it like this, at least for accounts that are barely clearing the character requirements or struggling to get max primos:
Some units are good for the abyss-style timed bossfights, which are 100% the hardest part.
Some units are good for the less demanding intermediate chambers.
You're only going to use units twice in most cases.
Think in terms of building an abyss-style "dream" team (made of any units, rental, friend, yours) that will clear the boss FIRST, and only then fill the roster with flex units and supports who can prop up your fill-in DPS / the Rental DPS or onfield themselves in the middle chambers to SAVE YOUR BEST TEAM for the hardest content.
If C6 Faru + Wanderer is your "dream" team that you have built and ready to go, don't skip Faru for Lynette just because Lynette is more flexible in other teams. So far it's pretty reasonable to expect you'll get 3/4 of your best team by the 8th chamber and can pick buffs specifically for them. The timer is unforgiving and you will need the dream team. Go ahead and use a scuffed anemo traveler DPS team or whatever you can scrape together to barely-clear in the mid-chambers to save at least one charge on the big guns.
tl;dr pick to clear boss chambers

I think Venti might actually be the best 5 star Anemo for Theatre, I'm not joking. Theatre did so much for him, he's extremely potent in this mode compared to Spiral so I would have put Venti, Kazuha, and Xianyun in those top spots in that order. Xiao is fantastic, and I personally have his dream team myself and it's very effective, but Xiao and evening Wanderer relies too much on specific supports for maximal effectiveness. You ought to value a unit's splashability more within Theatre ranking. Xianyun enables tons of characters to become DPS's that might underperform if attempted otherwise (Diluc/Chongyun/Razor/Gaming for example). Your Anemo 4 stars were fine but I'd replace Jean with Faruzan - even the trial faruzan we just had in this cycle was perfectly servicable and there's lots of strong Anemo units for her to amplify.
Cryo 5 stars were fine. For 4 stars I'd probably replace Layla with Kaeya myself, but I don't fault you for your choice, it's perfectly reasonable.
For Pyro, I agree with your top 3 (and only because you made a great point that Pyro will not always be paired with Electro in the future, presumably), but I'd put Thoma above Xiangling. Xiangling really likes specific teammates (particularly Bennet), but you won't always guarantee the best comp for her. I like Thoma more for his diversity, ease of use, splashability, and defensive perks.
Haha, to your point about the Archon - every Archon with the exception of Raiden has focused on off field capabilities. Even Raiden can be built to be used off-field. I think the assumption that Mavuika will be an off-field dps is a well founded one based on that. Your actual placements for the 5 stars for Pyro were fine - to be honest it's kind of hard to mess that one up.
...I did not realize there was only 3 5star Dendro, wow. Lol. For both 4 and 5 star I have no complaints either except swapping Tighnari with Collei since I don't think he should count.
For Geo, replace Noelle with Yunjin and put her in 3rd place - Noelle relies heavily on Furina to be effective and Geo may not always run with Hydro. For 5 stars, I'd actually replace Albedo with Chiori. Chiori's maximal dps potential is unlocked only with a construct, which only 3 characters provide currently and that may not be available when you need to field her. Albedo is a great general unit to put either on his own or with others, constructs or not, and his Burst even gives an EM boost, which has some utility. Obviously normally Chiori is the better pick but I think Albedo is more flexible unless you have C1 Chiori - but to be fair, the difference in their Theatre effectiveness is not so far apart that I'm gonna roast you for picking Chiori - just sharing my two cents.

diona definetely should be higher than kaeya, in terms of her capabilities and support she is acftually a pretty good character.
She shines in optimal teams (Melt enabler, Freeze battery etc), but in Imaginarium Theater it's hard to form optimal teams, and subdps with good damage would most likely be relatively preferred. The opponents have lower damage compared to Abyss too, so besides non-optimal use of her offensive utility, her defensive utility also has less value here.
I've been on a grind to get everyone up to Ascension Level 6 (already have all the boss drops for my roster and shortlist), and get everyone's Talents up to Lv.6, which the simplification to the Mondstadt and Liyue domains will be a great boon for.
Something that has worked decently for me in IT is stacking off-field dps. You don't know what team you're going to get so you don't know if you can actually build a team around a main DPS. I've been stuck with too many on-field dps/hypercarries which has ruined my runs, but when you stack lots of off-fields you still get a lot of value from all of them even if individually they don't deal as much damage as an on-fielder. Off-fields have way higher value for me in IT than on-fielders and I think I will start pulling for more of them.
I’ve been taking a break from Genshin but since I started I have felt a yelan shaped hole in my account. Love her character, need her dps/ versatility, and want her overworld. She is coming back and I have a guaranteed and enough wishes to hop into the game and get her. Cannot wait. Those armpits will be mine

Well in actuality standard 5*s aren't guarenteed. I've been playing for 3 yrs now & no Tighnari or Qiqi (not that I'm complaining, but still...). I'm a low-spender/f2p, spent some $ b4 but not in a while.

19:35 probably just misspoke, but Yaoyao is *not* always free, unless you're talking about lantern rite rewards then yes she's technically free (you can argue this is "always" once a year 😂).
Notice how in every slot the best 5 star is an archon (ignore anemo). So if you ever feel like you're lacking a good character just pull for the archon because you won't regret it.
Siggy is not bad for theater, if you meet her energy needs. Wide area cone, low hp mobs, reactions screwed over due to mode limitations. And if you have a Yae or Fischl, and no Kuki equiv, can benefit from her passive.
Yae is better than Clor due to off field factor. With Kuki, dendro is not the key factor. Hydro or pyro access is. With either, she is great. Without, not so much.
Dehya should be in 3rd spot, bumping Thoma. A well built one easily trashes theater, plus can fill support roles.
Geo in theater is cake. 1 5 star trial, 1 4 star trial. Add a geo friend character and GMC... pretty much set.

Thing is, the Theater is so laughably easy that i finished it with characters i forgot to put artifacts on...there’s no need to stress about it imo

@@justawalter9752 And the others were designed with Bennett in mind.. Hu Tao straight up gets an atk buff from her own skill and instead of building em, you just build hp pyro crit shimenawa.. Diluc literally likes spending on field time because you can constantly spam skill ult normals and still do great dmg .. if you built them you'd know.. klee and gaming are clunky and barely do dmg without reactions, gaming especially has very little hits, that you want to buff and cause reactions with.. also yanfei has a bad shield because you can't build hp when it's burst reliant (high er needs) and as a dmg dealer without vape , she isn't that great, you also need a lot of stamina..
@@surreabel Gaming literally has the same issue as Diluc and Hu Tao. He has designed with vape in mind. I’m not saying you can’t clear with them but I am saying that others that are not relying on a certain element can outperform them relatively easily. I don’t know if you know this but Klee synergises a lot better with non vape teams than Hu Tao, Diluc and Gaming do. I don’t know where you got that she needs reactions. She literally applies too much pyro reliably vape with solo hydro. In terms of calcs both Klee mono pyro and Chevreuse completely outpace the aforementioned characters with non vape. Same goes for Lyney, same goes for Arlecchino.
You can still bruteforce it but for most players Hu Tao, Gaming or Diluc just are not good choices for Theatre.
@@justawalter9752 Klee's base dmg isn't high, she doesn't need reactions to buff herself but she needs her team to buff her and cause reactions from the pyro she applies.. or maybe a Xianyun team.. her raw dmg without bennett is even worse, she's slow to play as well.. also you need to be a really good player if you want to clear with Lyney, because while he can get away without Bennett (if you build Marechaussee and lots of atk stats) and he has dmg bonus in his kit, he can still get knocked around and you can't always get the sheet dmg.. but that depends on the player.. also I still maintain, Diluc and Hu Tao has more than enough raw dmg and not clunky to play.. I literally cleared with those two (and Benny Arle Xiangling) last Imaginarium..

Hu Tao still is usable enough without vape but still not as good as Lyney nor Klee. The way you talk about them kinda shows that you’ve never played either of them. She’s good enough to clear nonetheless and whenever we do get a hydro+pyro theatre she’s gonna be pretty strong. Klee and Lyney just synergise very well with their own element which is always better for theatre than a character that primarily synergises with one or two elements
a revelation of mine was the gaming-lynette combo for the ley line defense. lynette taunts the enemey while my unbuilt gaming deals a decent amount of damage and self heals
they practically saved me by being both level 70, level 2 talent, no artifact levels, level 50 weapon (gaming is c4 tho, lynette c1)
how does the strategy work, act 4 leyline was so hard for me, need to try using Lynette like you did

have the other two character be the battery for both gaming and lynette to have their burst always ready
pick the robots enemy thingy
immediately attack the short range enemy that always jump so that their attack would be targeted towards you, the other one would attack the ley line but not that much.
put lynnete's burst in the middle and this will taunt both
then attack with gaming (his cons actually help so much because he solo carried this team with no healing but you can choose a healer like sayu dori for more heals)
don't deal too much damage! lmao it will be a 2 minute match but since you only need 2 characters you can use this battle to scrap your least built characters

I think Ganyu plus Emelia alone, but even more so Ganyu with Emelia and then Pyro Archon could receive a rather large bump.

I'm mostly concerned for my lack of cryo and dendro characters, I'm in the process of building some cryo characters but I don't actually have dendro options. It's my least favorite element so I've got the characters built that I have but the only really good built one is Tighnari currently.
Hydro: I completely agree. With everything said there. Maybe with the exception of how Candace is useful, as I have no Arlecchino, I can't even test out the team you mentioned.
Electro: Yes. 100% agreed.
Anemo: this is a tad bit longer.
Lynette needs her C1 if we want her to have CC, and her C6 if we want her to deal proper damage as a driver for whatever team we run her in. I'd definietly put Jean higher. Probably the anemo traveler too. For limited anemo 5 stars, I'd most definietly put Xianyun on top. She can turn ANY claymore user into a competent plunge dps, meaning she can enable some characters of most elements. (still no hydro claymore, but other than that)
Cryo: This is gonna be a rant.
Oh Cryo. My favourite element. I won't stand for the cat disrespect. Diona is the most versatile character in the entire game when it comes to how many roles a single character can fulfill. Healer, shielder, cryo battery, EM buffer. Sure, Charlotte heals better, and maybe has some better off-field cryo application, but unless it's a freeze team, (or a Furina team more specifically) it'd hardly matter. Layla has stronger shields, but she can't heal you up if you messed up the shield timing once, and got damage in. Rozaria has a crit rate bonus for the team, which I can see being rated as best cryo off-field unit, for a DPS check at least, but I'd say that the EM buff from Diona can be just as useful for a lot of reaction based teams. If I were to order these ("4 star" cryo) characters, my order would look something like this:
Diona > Rozaria > Charlotte = Layla > Kaeya > Chongyun > Qiqi > Freminet > Mika > Aloy
Qiqi can perform pretty decently in that 1 Clorinde team, but that's about all she's good for other than straight up a unit for keeping you alive. Freminet is a decent physical DPS, and he's the only unit in the game who can have a level 14 talent. Albeit, only if you crown his normal attack, have him on a high enough constellation, and have Childe on the same team, which'd make it kind of irrelewant, that his normal attacks are so powerful. As one of his constellation bonuses gives his normal attacks the extra 3 levels, not one of his abilities.
As for the 5 stars: Ganyu is the GOAT. In every meaning of the word. I'd never use her as off-field DPS though, if she's on the team, she carries the team. Her damage output is insane. I still rely on my Ganyu to clear abyss to this day, since her first banner when I got her. I spent all my in-game resources on her, and just barely managed to scrape together enough to get her on the last day of her banner. She's the one character I never put off my team without good reason, like requireing an elemental check, enemy being cryo resistant, or something similar. for Wriothesley, idk, don't have him, his playstyle looked fun at first, didn't really feel as fun during his tryout thingie :/ He's in the same boat as Heizou in this regard. Looks very fun to play, feels meh. Ayaka is pretty good, but mostly only for freeze. Alternatively for melt she could technically work, but it'd be harder to get a good team going for that. For reverse melt, just go Ganyu. Shenhe is kind of "the" off-field cryo unit, the one who doesn't even want to be on field to work. Pretty good in that regard, but I heard her output is questionable. Her buffing is also only any good for Ayaka and Wriothesley I heard, dunno why Ganyu wasn't included in that list. As I have no Shenhe, I can't even test it out properly. Eula is also a great unit, but with how high physical resistance some units have these days, she 100% needs an electro off-field unit with her to even function at all. When she pops off though, she does it with some pretty darn huge numbers.
Pyro: oh boy... half a rant
"4 stars": I inderstand putting Benny and Xiangling on top of the list. They're awesome. If it's an overload team, so is Chevreuse, as she's a built in VV shred, which is insanely powerful. But putting Yanfei and Thoma who are basically only shield utilities (for Yanfei, even that only at C4 or above) Diluc? no fam. Gaming over Diluc? Even less so. Gaming is like budget Diluc. Dehya on the other hand, now that's an interesting character. I've seen a hyper invested Dehya, who f*cking demolishes everything, with every hit of her burst hitting over 40k. But yes, unless it's at a very dedicated level, she's mostly a deffensive utility, similar to Thoma in a way. And Xinyan... oh Xinyan. Such a great character design, but such a poorly planned kit. Her kit would want her to be a physical dps/support, but pyro has no place in physical damage teams, as that team relies on superconduct for shred, which is cryo + electro. Amber's pyro application on her burst can be useful though. There were abyss setups in the pastwhere I brought her in for that alone, so she can get cryo shields off opponents really damn fast.
limited 5 stars: Arlecchino definietly the top, but unless Hu Tao has her C1, her stamina issues might act up, so I'd probably put Yoimiya and Lyney higher than her. That said, Lyney kinda goes mostly in mono-pyro with swirls for shred, or possibly with an overload and chevreuse for shred. But if the elements don't match up for either of those, his damage might suffer a lot. Hydro could work for him as well, but as he's a charged attack spammer like Ganyu, Yelan and Xingqiu won't really work as well with him as they'd for Arlecchino, Yoimiya, and Hu Tao.
Dendro: mostly agreed.
4 stars: But I don't see how Kirara is so high up. I'd say her shields are nothing that impressive to write home about, and her off-field dendro application isn't that great either. I'd say Yaoyao > Tighnari > Dendro Traveler > Collei > Kirara >>>> Kaveh
Limited 5 stars: not too many options, but they're all pretty damn great. Nahida is just somewhat better than the rest. Also, Nahida is straight up adorable, AND SILENT WHEN AFK!!! That is a huge selling point of hers!
Geo: mostly agreed.
I'd still pick Albedo over Chiori in a Navia team though, for that 2nd geo slot. Obviously Zhongli is the best choice for it, but those 2 are compared a lot. Chiori can't use her full effectiveness without geo constructs or constellations. Albedo can.
TLDR: I'd rate Xianyun, Diona, and Diluc much higher than you did.Those characters might not necessarily be the best in their category (at least Diluc), but definietly one of the best. And wtf did you mean Gaming > Diluc? Gaming is budget Diluc! and Diluc is bootleg Batman!
C0 Chiori outdamages Albedo even without having a Geo construct
@@justawalter9752 not mine. As I don't have Chiori, but have an Albedo with a cinnabar spindle and golden troupe artifacts. That said, I really don't use him at all, I only used him in that 1 Navia team while raising his friendship.
I actually think Wanderer is better than Xiao cause I find him a bit more flexible. Sure, they're both hypercarries that suffer damage loss when they're not in their optimal teams, but Wanderer can also be a driver for off field DPS such as Yelan or Raiden, and if you have pyro or cryo he's bound to have some decent buffs. And since he's not burst reliant, I think he's a bit easier to build and pair up with different characters cause he doesn't require that much energy. Sure, he's a bit wonky to play without a shield and in Imaginarium theater a shield is not a guarantee but personally I think his flexibility makes up for that.
Just when I talked myself out of trying for Yelan you talk me right back into it... Let's see if will power or peer pressure win the day.
(I have Furina and C6 Xingqiu, I don't have Kazuha or Zhongli... it'd definitely be smarter to go for them.)

Lisa just slap a bunch of em and thrilling tales and she deals good reaction damage (as she scales with EM) and buff your main dps while reducing def. She’s lowkey underrated. But i understand because other 4 stars electro tend to be so good. I have her c1 too and she generates so much energy in theatre that one E is enough to get her burst back
As someone who is a catalyst main (yae miko and Wriothesley), I vehemently dislike neuvillette’s gameplay. That could be because I’m on controller, which also adds to why I like Miko’s kit so much, but I genuinely dislike Neuvilette’s gameplay :’)

Ahh... me who has all the limited dendro characters, the top five hydro, and 2/4 of the electro limited 5* (lost on Clorinde's banner and never pulled Cyno because I couldn't really play him very well in trial) clearly tells me my preferences. LOL But also why I've been using the hyperbloom crutch (with ZL's shield and Koko's heals) throughout this first year of playing.

Faruzan is really an auto-include for theater if you have her and an anemo DPS build. Pairing her with a DPS isn't hard in my experience, especially since it's very likely that there is at least one in the main cast when it's an anemo cycle. Should you build Faruzan just for theater though, even if you don't have your own DPS to bring with her? Probably not. If you have her C6, then maybe. But if you have C6 Faruzan, why tf do you not have an anemo DPS built?
