Ive been playing golf for the best part of 40 years and its only very recently Ive learned about hitting the ball first for short game. Love these tips and actually look forward to these situations now. Thanks from Scotland!
Don't know if you edited this before posting; there is no visual of a) ball position; b) shaft lean (if any) for each of the shots to show the outcome. Just a suggestion, maybe you need 2 camera's?
Add one thing, John. Grip down about 2-3 inches and use this same technique. Gripping down allows you to put more energy and speed into the club head without adding distance. More clubhead speed = more spin! Great video! Give it a try…
fantastic camera angle dude. great job!
Let me know if you have any questions!

I was working on that shot at the weekend, I does feel brilliant when It comes off 👏🏴⛳
Ayeeeee Jersey!!! I live in SC but grew up in NJ! Great video 👍🏻
So glad we could see the club placement and ball for each shot. Top quality video.
Looks like you keep your hand ahead through impact.. Nice vid.
Another million balls and I'll have this mastered. Great video.
Will be giving this a go tomorrow 👍🏻
Good Luck!
Do you lean forward on your left foot?
So cool to watch!
This is good explanation.
Would this type of shot be easier with a wedge with higher or lower bounce?
Thanks
Depends on lie. Tighter lie you would need less bounce. Softer, thicker lie more bounce. I was using a 60 with 10 bounce
Pretty tight cluster. Nice tips.
Regarding stance. It looks like you're standing with your left side/foot/hip more open or more pointed to the left is that correct?
Thanks!! Great video!!
Beautiful sky
This guy is more concerned with impressing his friends than how useful this shot can be.

Those jordans are 🔥
What about from 40, 50, & 60 yards?
That's the best shot saver --- no more 3 puts.
Hi Josh, what degree wedge are you using in this video?
Hey! Using a 60 degree with 10 bounce
you have to set your camera so we can see the ball and club i see you swing and then the ball comes out but can not see contact.
With the camera angle this is like listening to a audio book. Should reshoot it

Great video! Give it a try…
It's actually acceleration not speed
Also, gripping down would lead to less CHS...
well explained
Dude, great lesson but it would be nice to actually see what you are doing. Maybe get a friend to help and make sure everything is in frame 😎
These are the times when you re do the whole video brother
Keep doing what you’re doing buddy I like you we can be friends
Where are the low spinning pitch shots? I only see lob shots
I like your no bullshit approach
Time to redo the video for us hackers , we need to see all the impacts 😋
I saw nice club house
Low spinning??
Referencing "impressing your friends" 4 different times is a bit telling, but, alas.
Good 💩!!!!
I cannot see the ball
May be great advice but, useless without seeing the point of contact.
not the best camera angle...
5 minutes and 15 seconds until you get to the point of the video. Tell us what you are going to show. Show It. Then turn the camera off
Finally actually demonstrates it at 7:20 and hits a shitty shot.
Yeah that didn’t work lol
