@@braddalkegolf Personally I think you have the best swing in Good Good (Kwon too). Hitting the nipper is a favourite shot of mine and i have been a bit rusty with it so this is a good refresher for it. The feel I have is that i release it like a bunker or a flop shot. Works 80% of the time haha.
FINALLY!! An instructional video that walked me through the shot piece by piece with common, easy to understand language and not the technical jargon. EXCELLENT LESSON!!
I REALLY appreciate you guys putting this channel together and teaching different aspects of the swing and different shots. Brad is an excellent teacher and how he presents the i formation is fantastic! Learning new shots and how to practice is a big key to getting better. I look forward to seeing more here. Thanks guys!!
I am loving what you, Brad, are doing with this channel. I do like your style of instruction as it it helping me even at the advanced age of 70. I am about a 9 handicapper but always look for ways to continue to improve my short game since I have lost a lot of distance. Thanks!
I love how you teach. Just how you are able to articulate makes it easier to follow! How you're able to not get caught up in that youtube mumbo jumbo! 😂
SOB! I watched the beginner and intermediate parts of this video and off to the practice range I went. Adding swing speed to my wedge shots and now the ball just flies off the club face with lots of spin. The club stopping chunks into the ground are now replaced with divots. Now the practice will be how far back to take the club for the distance needed. Thanks Brad, your video is a game changer. R
You have been a great addition to the team Brad. I consider myself 'pretty good' around the green, but you are next, next level! Great advice especially when you say the most important part is to practice a lot. You make it look easy, but that's a tough shot! (Now I have to start opening that face)!
Love the feel style teaching! Much easier to relate to than some of these very technical analytical teaching videos out there. Well done Brad! I am a high hcp that has somehow always had the nipper down and a good short game but my driving/woods are terrible so I look forward to that video!
This is awesome. I've always had good hands around the green and use this open club face but get speed through the zone and partially close it at impact technique for high shots with the ball off my front foot. Can't wait to go get this for the nipper!
You're super switched on to your feels and that makes you a great teacher. Cheers Brad been waiting for this one, can't wait to get up the practice green
You’re awesome at those shots. Great lesson. One thing I would add that helps me is to open the club face before gripping the club. It keeps me from shutting the face down too much at impact IMO
Great vid. In the advanced section you talk about the release & this is where we also see body rotation. Perhaps you could talk about that as this is key to a beginner who tends just to use arms back & through mostly leading to poor strikes.
As someone who loves hitting the nipper I can't tell you how much you have to practice practice practice before you're comfortable doing this on the course. But like he said, to have this shot in your bag is absolutely invaluable
Love using this thanks Brad not quite back spinning it like you but stopping it dead!! Have started using this technique in bunkers too and it is working a treat with the wet sand in England atm
This was an awesome idea to break it down for golfers of all skill levels, well done Brad!! Appreciate your insight Could you also touch on what type of lies you personally look for to either avoid trying the nipper or ones you feel confident with?
Just watched you tube championship and wished you Garret, Luke would have been invited, think it would have been a little different, love the knowledge you have about the swing Brad.
One thing is to also take a practice swing. Likely will have to clean the grass off. It gives you a feel. It's a feel shot. Keep feet close and don't pull your arms back too far.
Thanks for these tips! Could you make a video on how to compress the ball and take divots with full shots ? I’d also love to see a video on full wedge shots as well :)
That's my biggest mess up in chipping, the decel. I've gotten way better, but sometimes that little voice screams in my head, "Slow down!" near impact. Duff dang near every time. Bring back the labs jingle! Thanks, Brad!
Brad, would love to see some tips when the ball is sitting down in the bermuda grass around the green and you need to hit a pitch shot. Also, thick bermuda rough hitting approach shots.
Love the content and the tips. Any way to make a video about hitting a driver? I’m barely getting into golf and Good Good is what makes me even more excited to play. My driver keeps on slicing
Thanks for this, Brad, very interesting... I'm definitely at the beginner level... and I'm wondering why, when the clubface is that far open, why the ball doesn't squirt out to the right? Can you elaborate on where your feet are relative to the target, etc.? - Also, what about trajectory? Thanks again, keep up the good work!
I have a few things i do differently especially that finish, but maybe that's just the difference between being a righty and a lefty playing right handed. That speed all comes from the left hand for me and when I'm chipping well i feel that entire club face in my left hand and exactly where it is. Always wondered how rightys feel it. It seems like a completely different game from 100 yards in especially. Your dominant hand is placed where it cant manipulate the face as easily its just pushing and pulling when youre close to the ball and it never points palm or back directly at the target like the left hand does.
I know this is a swing channel but i request that you teach us more advanced golfers course management and mental lesson as a half decent golfer I don't think trying to get my swing when i already hit it fine some people like me need to just need to lean across that finish line to get into the 60s
1st, most of your steps are exactly the same as hitting a "power fade" with a long iron or even driver. Ball a bit back so lots of left weight, etc. That begins to explain why you are good at them. Most unique tip though was how you gather the swing to its finish. Love that you even realize how your arms fold at the end. I have watched your good and great shots and didn't see that. Explains how you can get the ball high so easily. When I have practiced the technique I felt like I was almost trying to hit the ball with the hosel to get maximum bounce on the ground, max height, and max spin. Imparts a cut spin that lands and spins right.
Gotta say It’s been really refreshing seeing Brad in the good good lab. Killin it
I appreciate that!

As someone who’s finally getting into playing after watching for a couple years, all these labs videos couldn’t be coming out at a better time haha!

I’m trying to break 100 and just shot a 103 last Tuesday and these videos are REALLY helping me lower my scores
It’s such a treat that Brad would take the time to share knowledge. Dude is such a high caliber golfer
I am loving what you, Brad, are doing with this channel. I do like your style of instruction as it it helping me even at the advanced age of 70. I am about a 9 handicapper but always look for ways to continue to improve my short game since I have lost a lot of distance. Thanks!
I really appreciate the breakdown for the different skill levels. That’s pretty cool 😎
I love how you teach. Just how you are able to articulate makes it easier to follow! How you're able to not get caught up in that youtube mumbo jumbo! 😂

Brad in da laaaab! What a great addition to the GG squad

Thank you for the beginner level! It really helps things make sense on why you are doing things!
I tried this in my front yard…. I owe my neighbor a new car windshield now.
This is awesome. I've always had good hands around the green and use this open club face but get speed through the zone and partially close it at impact technique for high shots with the ball off my front foot. Can't wait to go get this for the nipper!
Dalke has a cool teacher vibe, the kind who won’t give homework on weekends 😁. Ba da ba ba bah!! 🤣
Im a beginner but I watched the intermediate section, and I feel like not decelerating on the downswing was a good tip for me even. Thank you
The shorter backswing has been an absolute game changer for me…thanks Brad!
Thanks Brad. I have been playing golf for years with no lessons. I struggle around the green with this big time. This should help if I practice it.
I tried it today after watching. I chipped in twice.
Love hearing that!
I had no idea this channel existed! you guys should promote it more.
You're super switched on to your feels and that makes you a great teacher. Cheers Brad been waiting for this one, can't wait to get up the practice green
Step 1: Clean grooves
Step 2: Don’t play a crappy ball
Step 3: Follow Brad’s Tips lol
Brad, you are getting better at this every time. Really enjoying labs now that you are owning it. Keep up the good work!
You’re awesome at those shots. Great lesson. One thing I would add that helps me is to open the club face before gripping the club. It keeps me from shutting the face down too much at impact IMO
Needed this vid. Love covering basics. If my setup is wrong I screw up wedges 30% of the time
Great vid. In the advanced section you talk about the release & this is where we also see body rotation. Perhaps you could talk about that as this is key to a beginner who tends just to use arms back & through mostly leading to poor strikes.
THIS IS REVOLUTIONARY!!! Ta ta TSH!! Honestly amazing lesson Brad you are the man thank you so much!!!

Thank you Brad, bubbies still my favorite
This was an awesome idea to break it down for golfers of all skill levels, well done Brad!! Appreciate your insight
Could you also touch on what type of lies you personally look for to either avoid trying the nipper or ones you feel confident with?
Great advice but I didn’t actually see you hit any nippers??
Just watched you tube championship and wished you Garret, Luke would have been invited, think it would have been a little different, love the knowledge you have about the swing Brad.
Spinning wedges is your *Brad* and butter 🔥
😂
Time to start hitting some nippy jizzlers! Great video, Brad!
Grant fixed GG in two months. The dude is legitimate.
One thing is to also take a practice swing. Likely will have to clean the grass off. It gives you a feel. It's a feel shot. Keep feet close and don't pull your arms back too far.
My arrogant 20HC ass..."go straight to expert level bro."
😂
Bubbie needs to watch this one
Awesome video. You’re a true inspiration Brad. Thanks!!!!
Well done. Looking forward to more instruction. How about some off season, winter drills.
Thanks for these tips! Could you make a video on how to compress the ball and take divots with full shots ? I’d also love to see a video on full wedge shots as well :)
Brilliant format. Top explainer. Grwat job.
Never thought to weaken my grip on my chips. Ima test it out sounds like I could help on some of my miss hits. 🐐
The video ive been waiting for
cheers brad i went to the course today and when u said u won’t spin it 5 feel, i used a slope and spun it back 5 feet 😂
Haha nice to see my black GMC behind you right in my normal spot in the lot 😂
Great info Brad! One problem I have had in the past with this shot is the hosel hitting the ball since it is leading with he face so open. Thanks!
Love these video Brad
Ok now all I need to do is learn how to hit the ball.
I’d like to see a tips and best practices for playing a round rental clubs. Or adjustments to be mindful of when playing clubs that aren’t yours
Great instructional video Brad - loved it 👍
That's my biggest mess up in chipping, the decel. I've gotten way better, but sometimes that little voice screams in my head, "Slow down!" near impact. Duff dang near every time. Bring back the labs jingle! Thanks, Brad!

There will be driving videos!!
Love these types of videos and brad is killing it, keep it up
Hey Brad! Thanks for putting this up!
Brad is great teacher💪🙏
Thank you!
Excellent, Brad. Thanks
Hell ya Brad! These are awesome videos. I wish you great success with this new channel.
Thanks for this, Brad, very interesting... I'm definitely at the beginner level... and I'm wondering why, when the clubface is that far open, why the ball doesn't squirt out to the right? Great video - thanks for sharing!
Y’all gotta have a voice over. Show the shots, even slow mo them, and maybe even use lines in editing these.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE we NEED a Brad long straight drive tutorial
great video hopefully i can get under my hands.🤞🏻 love your energy man.
Great instruction Brad
Great video Brad.
Wonderful video thankyou! Is there a possibility of doing the same style of video in the bunkers?
Best wishes Mick
I fricking love this guy
This is good stuff. Thanks for sharing.
I like to keep the toe down and swing out. 3’ off the ground and stopping
I have a wicked wide stance when I hit my flop shots but regular chips for sure seem more consistent with a narrow stance
gosh i had to rewind i was like “we’ll be learning the WHAAAT”
Ima listen to this guy. He played in the masters
Excellent instruction but I have one question. Where do you line up in relation to the target, you seem to be square and swinging down your foot line.
Missed opportunity for a catchphrase: Brad-da-bing Brad-da-boom
I have a few things i do differently especially that finish, but maybe that's just the difference between being a righty and a lefty playing right handed. You should do a video on the wild escape shots you do. Maybe do find horrible lies in the trees and stuff and explain your process through the shot.
can you make a version of this video for applying spin to full swing wedge shots?
I know this is a swing channel but i request that you teach us more advanced golfers course management and mental lesson as a half decent golfer I don't think trying to get my swing when i already hit it fine some people like me need to just need to lean across that finish line to get into the 60s
Get Luke Kwon’s course management program
Soaking up these Lab videos brother, thanks mate
Thank you!
This video is fantastic, I hope to be hitting nippers like Mr. Dalke in no time! 15:28
Most important part of hitting a nipper is a urethane cover ball and sharp, clean grooves.
More of Brad, homie is awesome
Can we get a video on uneven lies! Ball above, below, uphill and downhill lies. I struggle with that like no other.
Bro I love these videos. Brad I need you to a flop shot vid and I need help with my driver. I can't stop slicing it !!!
These are dope. Nice work
Great info and instruction. How important is receptive greens, soft ball and clean groves?
Great…just in time for Winter in CT.😢
Bro, I’m better than brad at the nipper now! That helped so much!
1st, most of your steps are exactly the same as hitting a "power fade" with a long iron or even driver. Ball a bit back so lots of left weight, etc. That begins to explain why you are good at them.

I open the face that much the ball goes straight right hahaha
I'd love to see a video on wedge shots
Thanks Brad - can we have a basic chipping video, and how to adjust for uphill/downhill/above/below lie?
this dude is great everything i wanted to know :)
The taking a divot is a big thing for me because i'm always afraid of thinning it.
Brad is goated
Can you pleas do a pitching video. From 30-80 yards please !!!!
