The Simpson's Arcade is my FAVORITE arcade game :) I used to play through the game with my sister at the laundry mat next to my mom's work all the time. Galaga is up there as one of my favorites as well. Great way to end the three-part series, man! I REALLY enjoyed watching these :)
@EzeLuigi83 - I'm glad you liked it, as we had a blast filming it. I've already talked to John and we're going to do it again after the new year. My hope is to dig deeper into his rare and obscure games and consoles. I'd like to show the wacky and weird stuff nobody knows about!
absolutely loved you guys and the road trip/tour series. You guys are like american pickers of video games! i swear a reality TV show with you guys on the road discovering games would be amazing! keep up the good work, loving all of your content so far. the camaraderie between you two is hilarious. we all have that friend that will pop a beer at 10am. overall a genuine great time. take care
Awesome 3 part series Metal! Thanks for giving us old gamers a smile as each episode brings back some good memories of the past. I am so jealous of that arcade you were in. I was a arcade addict spending most of the 80s in one. People make laugh at me, but they dont know how great arcades were in their hayday. Unlike the internet, players faced off in person and if ya wanted to mock someone, ya had to do it to their face. Also, ill be ordering thoses dvds, he has a amazing collection.
@willgraham13 - Thanks very much! I think DMP is working out really well too. He and I are long time friends (since our Sierra days) and we hang out every weekend anyway, so it's only natural he start helping out with the channel.
Awsome triology of videos. Good to see people reppin the awsome state of Washington so well. That guys collections is crazy! as well as you guys. awsome stuff Metal Jesus and DMP!
Wow, his collection makes mine look puny...and I have been collecting for a long time! Love your show! You and the Drunken Master are the best duo since Robman and Johnny Milenium or Billy and Shady Jay! Love you guys and all your content! Thanks again!
You guys are so lucky having a friend like John and all his wonderful games if he where my friend I would have to start drinking just so I could bring beer over to his house so I could play games with him and learn about some of the games and systems I never had
I always "THUMBS up!", who isn't clicking that simple button to express their enjoyment at this awesome video? Such an awesome collection JH has, too bad Gargoyles is expensive because it looks great. Man what an arcade, so many of my favorites that I have got to see them all together. MJR & DMP perfect for high score initials lol. Great trilogy and I see you have another planned, rock on. :D
God I miss arcades. I miss them so badly. If I was ultra rich I would open up an arcade that would never go out of business and have the latest arcade games and tournaments every week.
@ScotlandForever1986 - We actually recorded some Master System footage, and John says he has a complete US Collection minus the PAL UPC label variant. I guess those few SMS games are around $1,000
Gargoyles was a T.V. kid's program that aired on Foxbox on Saturday mornings in the late 90's. It was a darker show having one episode that was later re-edited due to... well just in case anybody wants to start watching the show I won't say why it was re-edit. As person who remembers the show fondly, but not well I still want the game.
Wow, I'm glad John is humble enough to not freek out about the beer being spilled. I would of been pissed probably if it was in an awesome game room like that. Were any games harmed? Ha.
Hey Metal Jesus. I loved this! It was so funny and looked like such a good time. Part 1 was like Metal Jesus and DMP the Movie! Not a bad idea actually.
I know know you are three or for years older than I am after watching your 2010 video where you tell your age but I love your channel and watch your videos obviously over and over I had forgot I had watched this and that was only about a month or 5 weeks ago
I don't know how old you are but I'm 40 and 2oclock is last call at the bar here and there are always way older people than me with two or three beers or drinks brought to them right at 2 am and then sit there till three to finish and then they go out looking for other places to keep drinking and they do it every night
@04mzwach - No games were harmed in the making of this video (thankfully!). Just brain cells...from beer!
"It's not rock sweat" One of the greatest things ever said...
I'm starting to realize how much cooler the west coast is than the east coast. :(
+Michael Wolfe
A New Yorker agrees.
+Michael Wolfe It is your right, especially in the summer time it doesnt get anywhere near as warm as NY, which makes the west coast much cooler!
No snow
ky Exactly!
