Hey, Well done video. I wish I could see the menu better. The seats look really good and I love afternoon tea. Looking at buying my ticket next week before the points sale ends. How many points would you need for the same return Premium Economy, 1 person?? 🦎
You will need to check the Virgin website, really differs depending when you go.

I’ve flown VA many times over the past twenty years between Miami (home) and LHR (old home) to visit family. I’ve usually gone in PE or First (using points) and always had an enjoyable experience. The crew are always friendly and professional. I would recommend it for a long flight if you can afford to upgrade.
For me £750 was something I could afford, just didn’t feel the need on a 7.5hr flight to Florida. Now I’ve used the £3k I saved for a trip to Las Vegas next month ❤️✨upgrade on an 11hr flight - maybe 🤔 I will see what they offer me.
Yeah, 11hr flights can be very taxing and worse if you have to change planes. I did Alaska back to Ft Lauderdale a few years ago with two changes and it was miserable, especially in economy. @@kirstygriffiths749
How is the 25k last row in premium economy with the bulkhead behind me? Will my seat recline all the way? I looked at the map and they have 23h and 23k as preferred preferred sitting.
I’m pretty sure it will decline. I know at the back of economy you don’t get a recline.

Upgrading to Upper Class is not worth it unless you are flying on the A350 or newer planes. Or if you destination is over 10 hours or a long night flight
As I said….. glad I didn’t upgrade. This was fine for this trip.

It mentioned it on the menu but I didn’t see it. Past flights it’s been a basket of snacks with the air steward

The £749 to upgrade to upper. Did they email that offer to you shortly before the flight or did you ask at the check in desk?

Its incredible to me how the most ordinary of everyday items become extrodinary to people when they are encountered on an aircraft as if they are something new to them as if something never seen before 🤣
That 1000 points is a bit misleading tbh. I thought it was straightforward after joining '1,000 Virgin Points awarded when a referred friend receives Virgin Points from a qualifying earn transaction within 18 months of joining Virgin Red.'
I have no idea what you mean ? This flight was booked from all our AMEX points.
