The leaker is absolutely morally wrong here. Those things were said in private and they were not relevant to the upcoming tournament or any player participating in it. The org, as well, should be shamed for not standing up for its players. And as the recent Dream controversy showed, we should employ significantly more skepticism when it comes to DMs being used as "proof". You cannot grossly violate someone's privacy, and then retroactively justify your actions by claiming you found racism!
The DMs are almost certainly real, but I definitely agree that the leaker did not do this for the good of society, but just because he wanted to ruin someone elses career.
@@CallMeIfYouGotLost They are "real" in the sense that they appear to be posted by his account, but you have no ability to verify who actually posted them. The French leaker might've written them himself. Or maybe what actually happened is that all the times he wanted to say the N-word he got his Black friend to take over and type it out on his behalf? In any case, it does not matter. The messages were private. And the leaker grossly violated that privacy.
Really? Like regardless of what the leaker says, any responsible professional should avoid saying this type of shit, especially if it's somewhere that can be leaked. On top of that, it's basic human decency to not use slurs. Most people won't want to interact with people who use the hard R, so maybe it was a good idea to just not say racist slurs at all, public or private. Actions have consequences, and they'll probably go dark for a bit, apologize, and try again after they've learned a lesson as professionals.

Both can be true, you should not be using slurs, but invasion of privacy is also bad. Neither of them is the good guy in the story.
