I’m so glad I found you again! I had so enjoyed your videos, life happened and I ended up with a new TH-cam account, and lost track of several of my favorite channels.
This looks something like a sweet they make here in Trinidad!

In the uk you can buy somthing very similar to this called "spanish gold" or "sweet tobacco" in old sweet shops

That coconut looks so fresh and delicious! We have a similar candy in Brazil, but harder so we cut into squares.

    That looks yummy! 🥰
In France we have similar candies with peanuts (we call them "chouchous"). They are usually sold during holidays at fair markets.

I buy this from our local market whenever I see it, it’s beautiful! I won’t tell you how much it costs, you’d never believe me :)

My mom used to make a cake (called a hot milk cake) topped with candied coconut like this and then broiled. Super delicious!

Looks yummy. Skillet usually is a heavier pan than a frying pan, it is often used for the cast iron type .Skillet can't be picked up easily to toss the ingredients around like a frying pan or wok.

Ooh, you've just reminded me of a lovely sweet I used to buy for a treat after Sunday school when I was a child. It was called sweet tobacco, or Spanish gold, and was basically the same... shredded strands of coconut, sugar and (I think) dusted in a small amount of cocoa powder. Yum. Regarding the algorithm, I've just experienced the same thing: my views and subscriber rate suddenly plummeted in early July,, just as I was on course to reach 1000 subscribers, very disheartening.

I always find it a crying shame Shrimp dosen't comment on the videos

This is a ridiculous criticism. Shrimp is the reason you even know about this guy’s channel. They coordinate their post schedules and frequently collaborate.

Coming back to point out Shrimp has commented on the very next video posted on this channel. Also, like with this video, Shrimp and Africa Everyday coordinated their release schedules. You’re an asshole.
