The fight scene where the camera goes from normal view to top down and back again, it seems like it was done in one shot. That was an incredible scene, the best action ive seen in a very very long time.

This was by far the best movie of all 4 parts. Every John wick was insanely good, but this time they took it to the highest limit!! The camera movement was insane. Really enjoyed watching this movie yesterday. 10/10 for me

You can’t compare the two, lol. That’s like comparing apples to oranges. While I do enjoy both, John Wick is of course my favorite because of my preferences however I know many who don’t necessarily like the amount of violence and tend to enjoy a watered down fantastical genre side of movies.

I admit I changed my training a bit because of this series of movies. I think a improvement as it caused me to question how I was trained, and why. 1980 weapons were slightly different, body armor was too bulky to consider as daily wear without being noticed…. And most bad guys were not trained, or well armed.

Scott Atkins was legitimately captivating as killa. Such a great performance!
Fun fact. The kevlar they wear is intended to envelop the bullet like swaddling a baby, so much so that the increased surface area is most likely not to penetrate, however, imagine having a dumbbell bar slammed into your ribs but only... An inch or two deep... Enough the say fk you to that bone and shatter it.
Those vests/suits without plates aka soft armor also are only good for one shot typically. The vest is layers of the kevlar fabric which tears away from the seams to envelop, there are no more layers after it's ripped. That's why bad guys dump mags into chests for dramatic effect on lieu of a headshot. Ots painful.
The Arc de Triomphe scene was absolutely amazing! I was exhausted by the end of it! Haha!

Rewatching the trilogy in preparation for Part 4, I’m really starting to notice a different perspective from the characters. Obviously we as the audience are routing for John as the main character. But the more time goes on and events unfold, I’m starting to wonder exactly how “good” or “honorable” John is within the respect and confines of the assassin underworld.
Now, of course he obviously has the respect and credibility that he gained from his past life. But as The Director stated in Chapter 3, the events between the first to third film only takes place within the span of about a month. That’s a lot of chaos happening in a small time all cause of John, whether he means to or not.
And then him pulling out all his favors at once, only to finally reach The Elder and later change his stance to finally go against The High Table, almost defeats the purpose of everything he went through. It basically went from him trying to get out of the life, being brought back in just for one revenge in the first movie, only for him to be pulled back in even deeper. And now, it’s almost like the events of Chapter 4 are gonna be like, he’s already in too deep, might as well do something.
I guess my question going into Chapter 4 is what is his motive now behind deciding to take on the High Table? Maybe it’s just the way Keanu Reeves plays John, but it’s still very hard to tell what John is thinking or what his intentions are by the way he communicates and how stoic and reserved he is throughout the films.
But idk. Am I over thinking all this? Or is anyone else perhaps starting to see this perspective?

U r definitely overthinking, even the writers didnt think that much 😂. Its a Blockbuster. Its all about ACTION ACTION & PURE ACTION but in a way that defined the Action of Hollywood. Nobody comes to see this movie for better story line or oscar winning acting. Its one of those movies wch u watch with ur buddies to simply entertain urself

I only regretted one death in the film, Charon's passing was dignified by still sad. Nobody (and friend) was a great surprise, I knew a man like him once, and we were the best of friends until more government lies took him from us.

Not a single john wick movie has been bad, it's like they are getting better as they make more. It's not like most movies where they become dry or tiresome
every john wick movie explores different themes of this universe, and more about this organization gets revealed in exquisitely gorey detail, al while John Wicks journey progresses to its logical conclusion. that prevents it from getting dry while adding new layers of complexity every single movie.

Best thing about Keanu is, all his actions scenes perform by him. Though all parts and all scenes are awesome but personally i enjoyed the way he buys weapons from the hotel and the last line was epic anything for desert, and give measurements for his suit.
One thing if we notice in all parts of the movie his most of the kill is head shot.

The only series that gets better with each chapter.
Chapter 3 was a downslope from Chapter 2 mainly because of its rinse and repeat action. It didn't seem fresh just the same thing covered in glitter. For me Chapter 2 is still the best out of 2 and 3 but i'm hoping Chapter 4 wins the podium.

@@That_Gary_Life Agreed, the first one was the best as it started it all. Although for me Chapter 2 excelled where as Chapter 3 fell a little. It tried to be unique and ended up being slightly bland (bearing a few moments). I hope Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 go back to the routes of what made John Wick amazing in the first place.
