I don't really do gaming, but can try sometimes, my priorities are ML and data visualization and little bit of coding and like maths operations and python librarires (numpy, pandas etc) So maybe thin and light laptop is my kinda category. What do you think ? I think dedicated gpu would be required? Can you suggest me some laptops accordingly ? Keep in mind the future needs (like they say AI integrated processors or so, Utlra processors and ryzen 7000 series processors) and long run adaptivity.
Also, there have been some concerns i heard that intel 13th gen HX processor has some motherboard issues... I feel ryzen 7 7000 series > intel utra processors in terms of value for money....ultra processors may be having better performance but they get hotter Additionally intel 14th gen processors are gonna have some different usability I heard, making 13th gen and prior processors kinda less relevant to future technology and adaptivity, whereas ryzen 7000 series would still be relevant to its future tech, it will be supported in future changes as well . (Not to forget AI uses of these processors are not currently available)

Hi, do you think the LOQ with i5 12450HX and intel Arc A530M GPU any good for video editing and Adobe softwares including Figma? I've seen many review videos that speaks possitively, but my only concern is Arc is relatively new player in the GPU field so I don't know if it's optimized well for all most commonly used softwares. What's your opinion about this? I'm afraid if the GPU can't be used or not optimized for certain graphic or video editing softwares, or encounter a problem in the future due to Intel's lack of experience in this field compares to Nvidia. I'm planning to learn machine learning in the future and I don't know if it's good for that purpose but this is not priority since it's uncertain yet. Mostly I will use it for Adobe illustrator, photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Figma. I'm in dilemma between this one or the LOQ with i5 12450hx rtx 3050 6 GB. Spec-wise of course the latter is better but I have a tight budget and the Arc version is cheaper by 80 USD here. Both have 100 percent SRGB. Thanks
ARC GPUs have one of the best hardware engines for video encoding. They might not be great for gaming but they offer great performance for video editing and processing. And as far as I have seen, arc gpus are getting better with each update. So intel is doing a nice job with the support for now. Now considering your workload is pretty simple as far as gpu performance is concerned, you can easily go with the Loq with a530m because you'll get a great display too. But remember that the a530m is barely a powerful gpu, it'll handle your kinds of tasks but it's not so great for gaming.

Commenting on the after sales services is a very tricky thing for anyone. It is not the same for all people across all the regions of the country. Considering your needs I can only say that the LOQ 15 is better equipped with features that you'll find useful. And lenovo seems to have a better after sales service compared to MSI. But I have friends msi laptops who have navigated the seemingly "bad" aftersales service of msi with easy and got their issues resolved, so I definitely can't say that msi is outright bad. It's all subjective.
HX processors can use more power to give better performance. The matter of cost depends of multiple other factors than just the processor. (this is the simplest answer I can think of rn)
