Great phone, I liked the new liquid cooling technology, the sustainable gaming stability, the OIS camera and the design looks better imo. But I will be keeping my poco F3 for another year or two.
I bought Poco F3 today in replacement for Poco X4 Pro !!!! I'm very impressed with looking and performance of P-F3 !!!! Probably in top 3 smartphones under 340€ !!!! Poco F series are simply higher classes, there is no Samsung A or Huawei Nova or OnePlus Nord.....which can compete with Xiaomi phones !!!! At least in battery life !!!!
I have had the Poco F3 since March 2022 and got it for 240€. Apart from the operating system, which I changed. I hate MIUI for Poco... I hate MIUI in general, it's a good phone for that price.
It would be very interesting to see F4 vs F3 side by side. Do some repeated antutu, battery drain, temperature, and cpu throttling test to debunked if Poco's upgraded cooling tech really helps in sustaining the SD870's performance. Btw, good content!!!
Considering the leaked prices etc, I think I'll probably save and get the F4 GT. For not much more money it seems like you're getting a lot more phone.
Actually it's the other way around. If you don't have the poco f3 you should definitely buy the Poco f3 instead of the Poco F4. You could probably get Poco f3 at half the price of poco F4 right now. Exact same display , same processor and the rest are not that much different either.
Unlikely to appeal to F3 owners, but its early bird prices of £279 (6/128) and £329 (8/256) seem good value. Just not sure how well it will sell at its full prices £379 and £429.
Great to see you reviewing phones like this. I was contemplating getting a top end phone but not a good time for anyone to do this. My bill goes up by CPI +5%. With inflation at 10% your bill is gonna go up a heap.
I am really surprised/shocked that no reviewer talks about the lack of a physical proximity sensor, which every Poco F3 user has complained about (I returned my F3 because of proximity issues). Does the same problem exist with the 2022 Poco/Xiaomi line-up?

Will you make a test on social media apps? 3rd party apps usually run weird on Android phones but some phones such as S22 actually perform really well on those.

I bought the Poco f3 5g after watching your review. It's a good phone but wanted to make people aware after the miui 13 update the camera stops working after resetting or clearing data And cache and factory reset it's still not working. I have to send the phone back and get a refund now. It's a huge problem with Poco and Xiaomi phones after the update
Would've been nice if they just went with the Dimensity 9000 version of the K50 to distinguish it from the F3 but hey if it ain't broke, don't fix it I guess. At least my dad will have a different looking phone.
@@andriandri732 Not really considering that D9000 being on par with 8 gen 1 still makes it decent value. Also the pro version of the Redmi K50 (The phone series the F4 is rebranded from) that uses the D900 is priced at around 450 euros.

I own the Poco X4 and it still has this issue! I have been reading about this since the old Redmi Note Series. I had read they had suspended their earlier supplier but this problem still exists. Phone screen also turns on randomly in my pocket calling some random person or switching music on Spotify all the time. Hate this! Not going to buy a Xiaomi next time, my previous Samsung never had this problem. I cannot use Nova Launcher with gestures too which Samsung supports, many apps don't work properly because of aggressive battery saver even though I have turned off battery optimisation! It has just been 1 month but I am going to switch to a Realme soon once I get some money.

You know what I love about Xiaomi phone products? They always packed a 67W charger in their newer phone models, while company like Apple and Samsung which were 2 of the biggest tech company couldn't even bother to include a charger in the box and uses a lame excuse of "minimizing the impact in our environment". And they dare charge us an extra $15-40 for a charger that is no where as fast. Maybe I'm missing something but, it's a pretty scummy practice...
Do these phones comes with global ROM or are there China ROM too. Coz it's scary when you order online and received the Chinese version when said otherwise. :)

I was thinking of getting an F3 last year and this one more recently, but two things put me off. No waterproofing at all and Poor (At best) update support. I have used a Poco for almost two years and it confirmed my suspicions. So I bought a Samsung recently, because they provide the things I NEED.

Why i choose Poco f4 because it has liquid cooling pipe 2.0 much cooler than poco f3 cooler 1.0 plus if i want my poco f4 goes gaming with high performance and antutu score run faster so i better use Game Turbo with max custom in game turbo setting is also smooth and good enough with max graphics in any games

Im using an s8 which has 580 ppi density vs the 395 ppi density of this poco f4. With the s8 being a really old model an supposedly older tech, would the display and resolution of the poco f4 look better? However, i bring back the case of the ppi densities. So which would have the better display and viewing?

You get a brand new phone with brand new design and battery, extra year software, many f3 issues fixed, faster charging, slightly brighter screen, better cooling so the screen doesn't dim under sunlight after few minutes, better camera with ois, and it's a brand new spanking phone. Sell f3 for good price and buy this. Remember life is short.

Actually the Google feed stuttering issue is completely gone with the latest miui 13 update (13.0.3) . It no longer stutters and is buttery smooth. I was also facing the same exact issue as you previously before but not anymore since the latest update. However a word of caution though. The miui 13 update on Poco f3 will screw up the global dark mode so third-party apps without dark mode will no longer work or show up in individual apps darkmode
@@brokeguy5607 micro sd is cheaper than the 512GB version, midrange phones don't even have a 512GB version. Adopters can get lost pretty easily so it's not really a good alternative
Still rocking my Poco F1. Refuse to update until it dies. Why change when it still does everything I need? Though now the battery is on its' last legs, so an update might be right around the corner. Possibly this?

I'm watching this on an F3 and only had problems with the proximity sense very early on. It is totally fine now.

Without the Poco badge, the F4 could pass for any of the Redmi Note 11 models. The F3 is, I agree, a more stylish design.

Can you change the launcher and retain full screen gesture controls? This is something missing from the Poco F2 on Android 12 unfortunately.
