12:09 Omg Graham, yes, you will want those gloves if you're doing dishes every day, multiple times a day, with no dishwasher. Your hands go bleeding raw if you don't wear anything. They also let you wash with much hotter water since you can't feel it through the gloves. Not to mention, they're an absolute necessity with cleaning toilets (no, you don't use the same gloves, you buy two sets; one for dishes, one for toilets).
I by no means had it tough as a kid, however, I'm grateful for some of the things I have missed out on, I'm glad my parents didn't pamper me like this... Everything I missed out on made me value everything I had, and it motivated me to work harder.

Graham, do you wash your dishes with cold water? The gloves are meant to avoid direct contact with boiling water and from chemicals(as they are used for cleaning too).
Those gloves for washing dishes are reusable. They wouldn't save much not using them. In order to clean the dishes well enough you should be using hot water which is why they're using gloves. In order to sanitize the dishes you shouldn't be using water that's comfortable for your bare hands to be in.
Those are restaurant standards, not necessary at home. For one thing, you're not just using water on the dishes, you're also using dish detergent, which means that scalding hot water isn't necessary to wash your dishes.
Plus, when you wash dishes as you go, you need fewer utensils/dishes. Great for saving money on stuff and right in line for those that value minimalism to some degree.
Yeah, not taking sides here, but cheese sandwiches really aren't much of a thing outside of the USA. Have you ever seen that video of Gordon Ramsey making his own deluxe grilled cheese sandwich? Graham love your shows. When you have kids, you have to do multiple rounds of dishes throughout the day otherwise it is a mountain of dishes that don't fit in the dishwasher.
the gloves are actually very helpful, especially if you're like me and allergic to a lot of the ingredients in dish soap 😭 and are prone to cracked skin on your hands. we usually wash dishes 3x a day, after every meal.
Love how Graham probably thinks they re buy gloves to do dishes. ..pretty sure they cant afford it and use the same pair over and over again....at least i had a friend in elementary school her family was pretty low money and her mom said they used the same gloves over and over so they don't have to buy more every time...i come from a family that os pretty well off, we are comfortable..and i went to a private school...i remember it was so sad bc that girl i became friends with got a scholarship to come to the school and i remember when ppl found out and saw her parents car it was sad, she also couldn't afford the school lunches she always brought her own. So i felt bad for her. After awhile i stopped hanging out with her, once we hit HS she didnt make the cheer team and i did so i was always busy and didnt have time anymore to see her. Then she left and did online school. Feel rly bad for that girl. I remember i heard her crying one time in bathroom bc of her lunch situation. So i bought her hot lunch that day and the rest of the week
I use the showerhead to clean the bathroom, then you open the windows across the apartment so it dries up faster. Its way more efficient use of your time.
I don't know, I think if you were born into that lifestyle, your gauge is different. You wouldn't know that shopping was boring because that's all he did and didn't know anything else.
Never saw any of those series but do they do it other way around where the rich kid pays their bills and trets them for a dinner and shopping for a day? If not they should since they basically saved him tons by bringing him on their budget for a day haha
I understand a poor family not having the up-front money to buy a dishwasher. But I don’t understand Graham seemingly not having one. They’re not particularly expensive, they are super-comfortable and save you so much time, and they even save you a lot of water.
There's a purpose for the gloves. I don't use them but because of that my hands have gotten super dry. 45 min with detergent on your hands gets to you after a while.
my random comment is about how leather couches creep me out lol .. they're probably super dirty and farted up because most people don't clean them, you just can't see the dirt :))
I agree they shouldn’t make them clean their bathroom that’s gross. They should of also at least tried to clean a little bit when guests are coming over. Their home looked so dirty. There was literally trash piled on the kitchen table when they came over. My mom always taught to me to clean whenever guests come over. If they wanted him to do some cleaning for the show they could have just left the dishes and have him broom and mop or something but don’t make him clean your nasty restroom🤮.

Parents make about 1.8 mil a year, live in the nicest houses, drove the nicest cars, and always has the newest anything. They spoil me but I have always been taught the value of money. I’m confident that I’d work circles around the “rich kids”.
Nice humblebrag
Graham love your shows. When you have kids, you have to do multiple rounds of dishes throughout the day otherwise it is a mountain of dishes that don't fit in the dishwasher.
They should do Skint Kids Go Rich
LOL
the gloves are actually very helpful, especially if you're like me and allergic to a lot of the ingredients in dish soap 😭 and are prone to cracked skin on your hands. we usually wash dishes 3x a day, after every meal.
Gloves are really important if you constantly do the dishes so you don´t get irritative dermatitis
The guy is like Michael Jackson White on the thumbnail and black in the video 😂😂
I use the showerhead to clean the bathroom, then you open the windows across the apartment so it dries up faster. Its way more efficient use of your time.
H and M needs to sponser graham!
Graham "I kid you not" Stephan
OMGGG the comments 🤣 what has this world come too !? Not his fault he was born into money , lol ! I agree , it’s suppose to be a humbling experience .
I remember in the early 80's making thick grilled cheese sandwiches with the Government cheese. Lol
This actually isn't a new series. These videos have been circulating on TH-cam for a few years now just on different channels.
Hmmm.. Can’t remember the last time I bought something for myself.
Even told Wife to Got a Leaf Blower as my present, cleans the yard & Helps a lot.
Graham can you do a run down on what age you got your credit cards and what you used them for at that age
Don't mind me just leaving a comment for the youtube algorithm
I have been watching Graham for like a year and a half now 😂
I want to see the reverse. When poor kids live the rich life. And I love me some grilled cheese sandwiches. I love experimenting with it.
The Drew Carey comparison was hilarious! 😂🤣😂
He never ate a cheese sandwich? As a Dutch person I'm offended and I take that personally!!!
🤣👌🏻
How are these ultra ambitious qualities from parents who are multi- millionaires not rub off on the kids?👀👀
Babysitters
They dont raise thier own kids 💀 nannies do
@@duane_313 and parents to busy making money.
There's a purpose for the gloves. I don't use them but because of that my hands have gotten super dry. 45 min with detergent on your hands gets to you after a while.
True they could tidy up a more..touch everywhere...but hey ahope he appreciates his life
In England we don’t really have grilled cheese sandwiches so a cheese sandwich in England is usually processed cheese in processed bread.
interesting!
@@TheGrahamStephanShow I sounded like a snob then but what I mean is it’s a pretty standard, economical snack here that costs pennies
@@Kay-ly3hb cheese on toast? although I suppose that isn't really a sandwich except the bread part
@@QeQ5 oh yeah cheese on toast is different but as far as sandwiches go it’s pretty basic
@@Kay-ly3hb yeah... agreed
my random comment is about how leather couches creep me out lol .. they're probably super dirty and farted up because most people don't clean them, you just can't see the dirt :))
Salt water fish tanks can be easily more expensive lol. I love em though.
Also lol...no matter how "poor" anyone is...everyone got a nice TV
Cheese and pickles are a vibe. 👍🏽🔥🔥
Yup
Hi Graham will you plan in the future to upload videos in 4K ?
14$ for a H&M shirt, Graham? I buy mines for 4.99$ at C&A😂
Dang, and I was about to brag about $9 shirts at Burlington
Mines about $3
@@RAKITHA9 mine are free. I steal them from shops
@@ItsWojak atleast you are honest with it so its not stealing ;)
