It's true, mirrors open up the room. On the downside they can be very dangerous, you have to see yourself on both good days and bad. 😊😣 And its always a shock when you get up in the middle of the night and you see your reflection in the dark shadows!!
Seriously, this room is remarkable!. I'm so loving your striking ebony hardwood furniture! The armoire, the chest, the reupholstered chair, and your folding French/Egyptian butler coffee table, all are exquisite. I am so jealous! I want a room like that! Bravo, my dear! Bravo! 👏👏👏

Thought I’d treat myself to watching another one of your videos. I have many to catch up on. This room is breathtaking. So many beautiful things. I couldn’t do it justice on my iPhone, so threw the video on to my big screen TV. I have so many favorites, those windows behind the TV, that table next to the hearth (I have one in green that I was going to let go of, not anymore), the large hutch is exquisite, your coffee table, the embroidered bee pillows, that side chair. I loved everything. Your sofa looks indigo on the screen so does your rug. Both are beautiful. I thought they were indigo to tie in with the blueberries and lavender. I’ll have to imagine them in gray. I want to sit in that room. It is so inviting.

I couldn't stop watching even though it is after midnight. The room came together beautifully. Enchanting with your little gaggle of adorable geese. The bee pillows, the touch of lavender and lemons. Love it. Plus it is so refreshing to see someone decorating with color!

Wow. This room is stunning!! The thing I love about your decor is that is very different from everybody else. It is very elegant with unique pieces. When you talk about layers you do it in such a way that each piece you add elevates the decor and make it more beautiful. To be honest I prefer rooms this size with a Fireplace. Warm and cozy. The living room is absolutely stunning. What I want to know is what you do with all your beautiful pillows when the family is watching the big screen. My husband doesn’t mind sitting on my custom made ones. I’ve gotten so I don’t put them out as often.
Ha, me too Donna, I have two lovely very full pillows my daughter gifted me. I toss them in a spare chair or on the floor against the wall when we need room.
