To the person whose story is about the sobbing "neighbour", I heard my brother "sobbing" about 2 months before his death. It waa clearly a sob and coming from upstairs where he was hanging out. When I went upstairs to check on him later, he was cheerfully doing work on his laptop, so it could not have been him. I personally believe it's a fore-warning of a person's end about to come.

Omg 😟😱😭😫💔💔💔 Oh, hun.....that is just so absolutely terrifying and awful, love, I can't even imagine having experienced that, than the awful, dreadful realization; of now having to live with that newly learned piece of insight. One that I'm sure no one really wishes to ever have to carry with them...Oh, bless you, my friend, I know we don't know each other at all, but I am honestly so truly sorry to hear about your loss, shocking and extremely hard enough as such a personal type of loss is inevitably already, but now especially, after knowing everything you had said here... All I do know for fact would be; oh Lord, that's gotta be almost too painful to even endure. You're a very strong person...I do hope that u never felt you had to blame yourself in anyway afterwards feeling like you should've or could've known but than also would've been able to do something to prevent that or intervene somehow... I just really hope that no matter how or why your loved one did come to pass from you far too soon.... that both you and your brother as well as all of your whole family have perhaps since than been able to make the pain and grieving less and find some semblance of peace... sending lots of love to you and yours....💐🦋🧸🌻🌸🐚🌄♥️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍🦋💐💌🤗💮💞🏵🕊🌹💕🌺⭐🌈🌻🦢🌼💝⚘😇❣🌸🐚🕊🌱💗🎠🧸🌅🌟🖼🐎🌺🦋🕊

Super dumb. So there is a spirt or entity attached to this board. Before they came around it at least was in a glass case where it could look around. Chillin in Salem then has to be moved to Seattle. They buy it, put it in a box. Really boring. So tries to show them it sucks in here. What do they do? Put it in another box in a storage unit. So this spirt can't release itself from it's own board but can "show" the owner how to realise a spirit by breaking the board's. Totally over their head and puts it in another box. That person is gonna end up having some fire or brake in eventually lol

Scary stories never really scare me as much as they used to anymore. The story where she thought it was her father at the door was an exception. That story actually sent a shiver down my spine and made my eyes water (something that is very rare for me these days). Let me explain...
It was 1990 and I was close to 10 years old. My bedroom and our lounge room used to be upstairs whilst my parents bedroom and our kitchen were both downstairs. Back in the 1980s we used to have another room which was situated at the back of the house. However, this room was demolished in the late 80s. After it was demolished, from the upstairs lounge room window you could look down and see our backyard and a large verandah / back deck (where the other room had been).
I remember it was very late one night (about 2am in the morning actually). I was in the lounge room because I had stayed up late watching TV (as it was the weekend and I had slept most of that day, so was not tired). Suddenly, I felt the urge to look out the window and into our backyard. Our lounge was situated right next to the window, so I just stuck my head against the glass and peered out. The backyard light was on so I could see outside quite well. My dad was out there (on the back deck) in the clothes that he normally wears during the day. Even though it was 2am, I did not really find this strange, my dad sometimes goes outside during the night for some fresh air. He was looking straight up into the upstairs window that I was looking out of. I saw him smiling (at least I thought he was smiling, it was so long ago that I can’t really remember) and waving up at me, so I waved back. Then I felt thirsty so decided to go downstairs to the kitchen.
When I got into the kitchen, dad was there in his pyjamas. I said to him that he changed his clothes really quickly. He asked what I was talking about. I told him that he was outside just a few seconds ago in his day clothes and that he had waved at me. He looked at me with a puzzled look on his face. What he said to me next made my blood run cold (and is something I have never ever forgotten, even after almost 30 years). He replied “what are you talking about? I was asleep and only just got up out of bed. I have not been outside for hours”.
So hearing this story made me feel very uneasy. It was almost like I was flashing back to my childhood and reliving one of the scariest things that has ever happened to me. I also wonder what that thing was that I had thought was my dad.
[The part where she asks “why was he wearing his sunglasses at night?” did make me think of that Corey Hart song that was released when I was a few years old though.]

This thing was wearing his same cowboy hat. In Australia the Aboriginal people call him Feather foot, he has another name but i dont even feel comfortable writing it, starts with a K. Your soul is energy and can’t be destroyed, but can take different shapes, like that of a human or an orb.

Story 8 (the long one with the girl experiencing paranormal activity her entire life) sounds a lot like my life. Though I never saw portals, I do experience things everywhere I go, no matter when/where the homes are built. I too seem to have way more paranormal activity when I am pregnant. Spirits sense that & if you’re an empath (which I am) they’re already drawn to you. Add on a pregnancy & you become a literal magnet to them. Things would die down for years, but once I was in my second trimester, it would get crazy again.
I also can sense people’s true feelings. People I think about a lot, that I haven’t talked to for years, will reach out to me.
I swear she was telling 85% of my life.

It sure made OP sound like a much younger writer than they likely want you to think. $150 is an absolute steal for something like that.

I can relate to having situations when street lights would go on or off (usually off), or touching a light bulb that suddenly burst when barely touching it. I also used to have moments where I would zone out looking toward certain objects that would fall to the ground. I am known to cause "malfunctions" with technology.

I totally relate to the street lights thing! A few years ago it happened to me a lot where as I walked past a streetlight, it would go off and then come back on when I had passed it. Although it wasn’t as noticeable during the day the opposite would happen. This hasn’t happened for ages now.

I enjoyed the stories as usual. I got really excited when you read the story about the Earth Sanctuary on Whidbey Island in Washington State. I have lived my whole life here and never heard any stories about bodies being found or people disappearing there. If the person who submitted the story knows where they got that info I would like to know. As far as experiencing something paranormal there, I'm not surprised. There is a lot of energy here on the the Island.

To the mom that has girls that can see spirits: I have 2 daughters. My oldest saw spirits till about age 14, my youngest is an adult, with a daughter of her own, and has been able to see and feel supernatural phenomenon. She asked me once what to do if her kids end up being able to see things like she can. What I told her, is what I did for her. 1) never try to say there's no such thing. But ask if they are scaring her 2) if the answer is yes, tell her she can ask them to leave her alone. It more than likely will. And 3) that her children and her can always come and talk to me. I've had to accept this, as I too can see, hear and feel them. Through my life I've had several near death experiences, and have died at least once as an adult on the operating room table. With each event, I could feel to start with, then can hear them once and awhile, and presently (for 11 years now) I can see them. I share my experiences with her, as I became less and less afraid through the years, and I share it all with my daughters. Especially now that they are adults. From what they've told me, this has helped them out through the years. ( I started with the funnier hauntings I've had, to let them know, there not all bad) so anyhow, that's the only advice I can give, my experience, but each child is different.

I agree. She should not ignore it. Her daughters have it coming from both sides. Her mother in law. And her. I'm sure if she looked back she would realize how much it sucked/ being afraid/ confused. The best thing to do, is do her research. Doesn't sound like she ever did. Knowing as much as you can about it will take the edge off. Learning basic protection symbols. Learning wards/prayers if a basic please leave me alone doesn't work. I have to say a lot of what she described sounds like a multi-dimensional being is messing around with there family along with the other stuff.

The story about the lady who has experienced a lot of paranormal activity and who also has psychic powers, her story resonates with my own story and experiences. It gave me chills as I listened to her because since I was a little girl I would see shadows in my room. We used to live next to a school and in the middle of the night, I would wake up to the sounds of children playing and laughing. My grandma, my sister, and I used to share the same room. When grandma passed away, we couldn't sleep in our room anymore because of all the things we would hear at night. We decided to move our beds to the dining located next to the kitchen. We had a small breakfast table in the kitchen and the first night we slept in the dining table, we could hear the chairs being dragged, the cabinets doors being slammed, the plates rattling and the faucet being turned on and off. I feel that no matter where we moved, we always experienced paranormal activity in each house we have ever lived. I too can feel the energy on people I meet, if the energy doesn't feel right. I try my best to avoid them, and so far the people whose energy has felt bad. They haven't been nice people. I too have experienced street lights shutting off as I walk past them. I just never thought I was psychic or that I have some sort of special powers. If there's anything good in me or special, I am aware that it all comes from God. My faith in him is what has protected me and my family from any bad spirits or evil entities.

Being an empath is not an easy life; however, you can learn to live with it. Do some research online and try and find creditable information and it will answer your questions and hopefully help you.
