I Love Eminem and believe he was the most lyrical if referring to his prime . But impact over all is 2Pac , Eminem is not that well respected in the ghetto but to caucasian suburbanites and the world he is more revered.
Personally I’m not putting him on there but we can’t act like Kendrick didn’t have a classic debut album that stayed on the charts for 200+ weeks and then his second album did just as well and still has songs on the radio played probably still on the charts
1. Tupac 2. BIG 3. Nas 4. Jay Z 5. Andre 3000 6. Eminem 7. Kanye 8. Kendrick 9. Drake 10. Ice Cube 11. Rakim 12. Snoop 13. Lil Wayne I personally prefer Biggie to Pac(so for me 1 and 2 can be switched) and am not a huge fan of Lil Wayne, Snoop or Drake, but if we factor in impact, skill and everything, I'd be perfectly fine with the list above. Also, Nas can be in any of the top 4 spots, Jay Z is fine at 4-8, Eminem could be a little higher or lower, but in general that would be my list for the best rappers of all time.
I've listened to Pac. I think he's one of the best, but not "the best." Been listening since the 70's. Pac was 🔥, but I can't put him over Rakim, Kane, G Rap, KRS-1, Jay-z, Biggie, Nas, Andre 3000, Face, Cube. Pac is up there, but not better than those guys. I don't use album sales or popularity to cloud my judgment. All those different categories are fluff. However, Pac should never be disrespected the way that guy did. Thanks for stepping up Ebo!

Doctor Dre is definitely one of the top 50 rappers it says rappers not writers and if we was going by writers a lot of people on that list wouldn't be there
He's probably judging Pac from an East Coast perspective regarding the complexity of his flow. That's only part of it though and that's not why he's at number 4 anyway. His songs connected in way rarely seen in Hip Hop
@@gilbertbrown4183 it's not really lyrics although that's what they say. It's how the rhymes are put together. Sometimes being straight to the point is what works and that's where Pac comes in. Tupac and BIG died at 25/24, others rappers on that list lived till 40plus. It's just like a sport star dying at mid 20s and still considered the greatest. Tell me any young man in any field that died so early and had so much impact in his field. Pacs transcends music, an activist, poet, actor and more......

Based on the criteria, Eminem should easily be number one! In fact, Eminem out rap all 10 rappers in a song before except for 2pac who would easily be out rap by Em if he was still alive. In terms of Impact , most of the world didn't know about rap until Eminem came into the game. Their answer is always that there is no one in the hood listens to Eminem! Kim was ahead of her time in a time that had fun innocent types like Aaliyah, Missy, Lauren Hill, Faith Evans...etc. She was the original Baddie with that attitude....and you seriously gonna say it was Nicki that started the trend?!?
I digress.. Either way..if they put her in the Top 10 as some low-key "female empowerment" move...then say it, and I'll respect it... But for her to be higher than J. Cole, on an "ALL TIME" list, is laughable.
How is J Cole the first name you mention being below Nicki Minaj when he's nowhere near top 10? You realize there's rappers like Rakim, Andre 3000 and Ice Cube also below Nicki?
@@noahcoleman6385 Why you worried about whatever name I bring up that's below Nicki.......The fact that you just brought up 3 other rappers that SHOULD be higher than Nicki is enough to prove my point. I just made an obvious observation of another artist that is actually still active in the game. In the end....I know for a fact that they squeezed her in there for "female representation". It is what it is, and I get the narrative push for diversity and inclusion. smh.
But I digress.....I mentioned Cole....I could've gone in the archives and picked a handful of others, but this generation knows Cole....and there's no debate that Cole is better than Nicki in a "Best of ALL TIME" list. Maybe you wanna debate that Cole isn't top 10....I don't care. Either way, Nicki ain't better than Cole in any ALL TIME list.....THAT'S my point.
@@alidesilza why did I have a bone to pick with mentioning you mentioning cole? Because I actually think its arguable Nicki should be higher on an all time list. Cole is not as great as y'all make it out to be. Maybe I want to debate Cole isn't top 10? I want to debate Cole isn't top 50 at all.

Pac's impact on hip hop and the world is and always will be bigger then any artist. He was a great actor. Dope Mc. Has music that has stood the test of time. His rap career didn't suffer after the movies. He continued to put out dope music. One of the best storytellers we had in hip hop other than Ice Cube. As the years go on the top 10 will turn into The Kids Bop top ten lol.
In pac's time there was no digital marketing yet cassette and magazines played a part. Well known in Africa even kids born in the 2k love his music.
Pac was good but became highly overrated/ overpraised in death. Too many Sharper Advanced Complexed Storytelling, Vocab, Rhyming Lyrical Emcees than Pac. Pac was barely mentioned in ppls top 10 between 92-95. NAS & KRS the Longevity 🐐🐐 imo

Also, Nas can be in any of the top 4 spots, Jay Z is fine at 4-8, Eminem could be a little higher or lower, but in general that would be my list for the best rappers of all time.
Some people will say anything to try and go viral, however there's no GOAT, there is a elite group of MCs.
