Bite the bullet and upgrade from Sync 2 to Sync 3. It will take your interior to the next level. The price is a little steep (somewhere in the ballpark of $750), but in my opinion the best bang for your buck to make it feel more modern. I did it in my 2013 Lariat and I love it!
Great video man, absolutely love the stocks with the big tires on it, looks amazing. One thing I highly recommend with your king ranch, get some saddle conditioner/oil, really preserves those beautiful seats and turns them to a dark rich brown. Also, the center console leather covers are extremely easy to change on them and are like 60 bucks, if your picky about little cosmetic issues like me lol.
I gotta find a leather cover that actually has the KR logo and then I’ll get it, I also just did my seats with the kr saddle shop stuff last night going to edit and post the video soon
Amazing how quiet those common rail 6.7’s are. Couldn’t do a video inside the cab with my 7.3. Wondering if you’re going to install an S&S DCR and remove the Bosch CP4 regardless of the S&S filter install? Really nice color scheme and a beautiful looking rig. My 2002 F250 steering wheel still looks good, but I purchased a leather wrap kit that you sew on yourself and if you take your time it will look great. $40 vs. buying a new wheel or taking it off and having an upholsterer do it for $500.
@@kevinmurphy3464 ive seen the sew on kit, sadly my buttons looked worn too so I got whole new one, and yes they are very quiet fs. And at the time I put the s+s bypass kit on before dcr was released. I think dcr is a massivr waste of money and too much work to install. I just wish ford would have put a bigger cab on these. The back seat leg room isn’t great and I hate that when you fold the rear seat up it isn’t flat on the floor. The 11-14f150 cab would have been a big improvement and I’m glad they used the new cab on the newer trucks. My 15 f150 cab was awesome. I enjoyed my 2011 F-250 Lariat while I had it. A digital speedometer would've been nice instead of staring at your mpg all the time. And the front end has so much chrome with the big bars in the grill and the giant reflector headlights. Other than that, they're my favorite diesels. I've considered buying another, but these trucks are overvalued and a ripoff for used.
@@nick7.3 yeah the 6.7 is a contender on miles for sure, but still too young to pass the test of time. Obs 7.3 had injector cup and coolant issues compromising longevity that weren’t corrected till the 99.5 7.3. Time will tell. Im hopeful
