One of my friends moved to Ukraine in 2020 from the USA, he used to live near the border and when the war started, he and his family’s town was taken over by the Russian army, he had to move to Poland, he also called me when the town was taken, it looked super scary, buildings knocked down all of the stuff.

Lol, I do agree Russia had "unrealistic expectations" that they'd be greeted as liberators. Given most only consume Russian media and nothing else, I guess it's easy to be suckered in to the propaganda. They did start their propaganda late though. Russia never prepared their population for war. But it worked, but at this point, Russia had lost too many of its good soldiers and equipment to become effective. But I prefer the timeline we have, rather than Kyiv falling in 3 days had Russia actually prepared for war.

Great video but you did forget the polish asking germany to rearm and send weapons which helped encourage the germans to actually send weaponry and you should have added a more eager to fight polish countryball considering they wanted to send old russian military jets early on and the us told them not too and you should have covered the amount of aid and weapons sent by the british too since the UK has been just as involved maybe even more involved than the EU at first

Since the day this video was released (more or less) I have been watching this video over and over (I love it)... I'd like that "Mr. Spherical en Español" brother channel translated this into Spanish (and I have the feeling they will eventually do it) so I can show it to my "non-english speaker friends" without having to dub it "on the fly" while I play the video to them... if I had a good quality mic, maybe I would try to dub it myself and show it off into my channel (with proper links to the original source and channel of course)... just to show off that I can do it!... but maybe I just wait for Mr. Spherical Spanish to take their time instead... 😁

This part 2 was presenting the war up to about March 2022. Since than a lot has chainged. Both losses and employed tactics. Especially on the Russian side, with looting, maraudering, targeting civilians, targeting the energy infrastructure, etc.

Well soviet union helped us when more than half of the world came to support Pakistan and sent it help + the 7th fleet of American navy was coming to attack us ( india) but then soviet helped us and saved us from usa and its allies and Russia is still our bestest friend so definitely india will not go against russia

I love how Mr Spherical can make animations about this sort of stuff without being on one clear side of the story. I’m Russian myself, so 6:40 really showed what the Russians perspective was, not just Ukraines.
Lol, I do agree Russia had "unrealistic expectations" that they'd be greeted as liberators. Given most only consume Russian media and nothing else, I guess it's easy to be suckered in to the propaganda.
They did start their propaganda late though. Russia never prepared their population for war. But it worked, but at this point, Russia had lost too many of its good soldiers and equipment to become effective. But I prefer the timeline we have, rather than Kyiv falling in 3 days had Russia actually prepared for war.
