The only time a country is able to stay neutral is if it's neighbors allow it to stay neutral. Plenty of times Switzerland could have had war declared on it even if the declarer lost. It still would have meant Switzerland couldn't have stayed as neutral as it did to 2022.

The voice of Russia reminded me of the Soviet commissioner who guides us during the tutorial of one of the old Call of Duty games. The days when the USSR dominated the east was the glorious days. It is in our humble opinion that Yeltsin was too drunk to rule Russia in the right direction. We are thankful we are best friends with Vladimir. Had such a great time with him in Vladivostok back in 2019.

Believe in me guys. Making an animation story is hard than you expected. Animators love to make animation movie because it's their passion. The point is that it is very challenging because it takes weeks and months to complete the film even if you want your story for only 1 minute.

this just shows how tragically upsetting Ukraines history has been up to this point, it's a country in between two major geopolitical powers that are sworn enemies, each wanting to use Ukraine for their side, being pulled towards either side will create a dreadful response from both sides while not wanting to be on either side will also do the same effect, they just can't be left alone...
They would have been safe if NATO hadn't dragged it's feet and let them in sooner.
But we didn't. We will always owe a debt to Ukraine for that. We dilly dallied, and they paid the price. The very literal least we can do is support their defensive war effort now, and help their refugees.

Hell, even in 2017 Ukraine's parliament listed NATO membership as a strategic goal...didn't get in. NATO consistently said no and nothing changed. Just like their claim that NATO was pushing up at Russia...go look at the last countries that joined NATO and where they were on maps, all far away from Russia. It's been 2004 since anything near Russia joined.

The first time, Ukrainians started a Maidan Revolution in 2014 to replace the government with a pro-Nato one which resulted in Crimea being taken by Russia right after.
The second time, Ukrainians supported Zelensky who requested Ukraine to join Nato in 2022, which is now resulting in half of Ukraine being taken by Russia right after.
The ending is very touching.
Wonder if there will ever be a revision, or new edition when we get the full story behind the war. All of it. Stepan Bandera, Victoria Nuland, the Ukrainian oligarchs, the discovery of natural gas off the coast of Crimea, the botched Minsk Accords, the Istanbul agreement, etc.

Ukraine has wanted to join NATO for years due to Russian aggression, which resulted from Putin’s aspirations to recreate a greater Russia by annexing former Soviet states. Ultimately this entire crisis leads back to aggression from the Kremlin over the last 20 years or so. If you want to blame someone for this entire debacle, blame Vladimir Putin and his oligarchs. This entire chain of events was sparked by a madman’s lust for regional domination based on a Cold War-era grudge.

I am a Russian and I expected the worst. I really liked this video. There was only one moment missing here when two regions of Ukraine asked to leave together with Crimea, and Ukraine freaked out and hit them because of this.
Otherwise, this video is absolutely objective.
I especially liked how it was shown that the USSR lives inside present-day Russia, this is something that not everyone understands. This is much better than when Putin is compared to Hitler, although there are small similarities, of course, it is difficult to deny it now.
