LYRICS:
Moses led God's children forty years he led them,
Through the cold and through the night;
Tho they said, "Let's turn back", Moses said, "Keep goin',
Canaanland is just in sight."
And there will be no sorrow there in that tomorrow,
We will be there by and by;
Milk and honey flowing there is where I'm going,
Canaanland is just in sight.
Now though we walk thru valleys, 'Tho we climb high mountains,
We can not give up the fight;
We must be like Moses, we must keep on going;
Canaanland is just in sight.
And there will be no sorrow there in that tomorrow,
We will be there by and by;
Milk and honey flowing there is where I'm going,
Canaanland is just in sight.
And Canaanland is just in sight!
CANAAN LAND IS SURELY ...
"JUST IN SIGHT" HALLELUJAH 🙌
Moses led Gods children's
40 years he lead them
Through the cold and through the night
Though they said "let's turn back"
Moses said "keep going, Canaan land is just in sight"
There will be no sorrow
There in that tomorrow
We will be there by and by
Milk and honey flowing
That is where I'm going
Canaan land is just in sight
Though we walk through valleys
Though we climb high mountains
We must not give up the fight
We must be like Moses
We've gotta keep on going
Canaan land is just in sight
There will be no sorrow
There in that tomorrow
We will be there by and by
Milk and honey flowing
That is where I'm going
Canaan land is just in sight
There will be no sorrow
There in that tomorrow
We will be there by and by
Milk and honey flowing
That is where I'm going
Canaan land is just in sight

Jeff is my best friends uncle and it was crazy because my family used to sing this song around the piano. What great memories.

Ernie Haase really likes singing with old people lol.
Rochii he tells a joke about that on another clip. I grew up about 50 miles north of where Ernie grew up.

After all, he married George Younce’s daughter. They had to guarantee that he would never get fired from The Cathedrals … 😂😂😂

did the piano player play with a quartet?
The pianist is Ken Eubanks, who played for Heaven Bound (of which Jeff Gibson was a member. Jeff also wrote this song). Heaven Bound was a vocal trio. Ken, if I'm not mistaken, only played with them and didn't sing, but I could be wrong.
@@Realbeagleboy thanks also wondered who Jeff was. never heard of the quartet
Allen Ham & Lawrence Taylor completed the trio but of course, like most groups, they had several personnel changes. I saw them at a singing in Louisville about the time this particular song came out. Their music thru the 1980's was fantastic and can still be found on eBay and Southern Gospel Fan Groups on FB.
