Big Jim Hamil was one of the best lead singers in Gospel music. He was the lead singer for the Stamps Quartet,the Inspirations, and later the Kingsmen Quartet. Bro. Jim went to Heaven in 2007 after a prosperous career spanning several decades in Gospel music.
Did not know Hamill sang with the Stamps or Inspirations. He sang in earlier years with the Oak Ridge Quartet, Rebels, and the Senators (Memphis) before joining the Kingsmen. Probably with others, but I for sure don't know his full history.
Love it! Big Jim Hamill could sing anything...high notes of power, soft sweet melodies. One of the most under-appreciated lead singers in southern gospel.
I was at this Homecoming in Atlanta. A lot of these dear Saints of God have gone on to Glory now.
I loved singing this in church when i was young. I thank God for my childhood church and leaders.

Jim Hamill was a very great singer, all around funny person and one wonderful Christian. I was so grateful I met him when I was a young man. I know he is with other members of the Kingsmen who have gone on ahead, I bet he is giving Anthony a fit....LOL
I see so many precious faces...many that are no longer with us...but I know they are together singing in Heaven...cannot wait to see and hear them again...
The Bible does not teach that. They are in their graves until resurrection morning
It was lovely to see Rex Nelon @1:50 giving Jim a tightly closed fist and then Squire Parson @ 1:59 also congratulated him in a well executed performance…

John, “Prepared the way for the Lord,” John did NOT “Restore anything,” as that which would need to be restored, (The full understanding of the whole Bible,) had not yet been given.
This scripture concerns the Elijah prophet for, “THIS DAY.”

God has fulfilled the above scripture in THIS DAY.

This Elijah prophet comes just before, “The coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord,” which happens in this day.
