Why is Water Coming Out of my Exhaust Pipe?!

When the engine cools down completely and exhaust gasses exit the combustion chamber, condensation of water and carbon dioxide can be noticed much more, and in a moment like this, you notice water dripping from your car's exhaust pipe. Thanks for posting this. I have a 2004 Mustang GT and noticed a water puddle by the axle. The water is leaking on the exhaust clamp after installing a round muffler from mbrp. The stock muffler had a tiny hole for drain and new muffler does'nt.

It happen if the car has not been used for a long time. Although, I am not sure about the smell

​​@@sstudio36I think it would be when you don't, eventually overtime it would build any remaining moisture coming from the heat and as soon when you fire up the engine, all that trapped moisture would release from the exaust, the smell would be probably from the old engine oil since it hasn't been used in a long time
