Former Ford Drag Team members know a few things about drag racing. Back in '69, they showed me how to get more traction with bias-ply tires. My '69 Boss 302 Mustang went one second faster with 35 psi in the tires.

From the perspective of a european citizen of german origin, this here is true US history to be admired. This is true north american culture to be loved, just as blues, jazz, rock 'n roll, surfing and great food are.
And that excludes gun laws, government forced criminal rates, private prison policies or hating the different.
Just let us love you for what really defines your personality, for this is what makes America great.

I genuinely appreciate this comment. I am an American by chance, and by choice, and I think your view perfectly encapsulates the lens that everything ought to be seen through; appreciate the positives, acknowledge the negatives, and love the thing for what it is. Folks like you bolster my faith in humanity. Thank you, and please take care.

@@kyleam288 Naming others pansy? Is that the best you can do? Oh, my...
Self preservation and liberty works without. That is what the U.S. government taught us, with establishing our democracy and laws post to WWII. "YOU" taught us that it works without the right to own guns, so it definetely should work for you, just the same.
It is too obvious for everyone, why you people do not want to reconsider. Thankfully, the "you" is getting fewer, and the "others" are getting more. And you cannot do nothing about it, no matter how loud and ugly you get.

Dennis is such a likable man. The type of guy you'd wanna hang with in a Dunkin Donuts or a Tim Horton, depending on where ya live. :)

I would like to correct a false statement about the NHRA legality of the Torino, The NHRA blueprint specs for 1968 thru 1970 428 cj and scj engines requires that the camshaft have .481"/490" lift at the valve and be a hydraulic lifter cam in Stock eliminator. If the cam in that engine is a solid lifter cam the car WOULD NOT BE LEGAL. NHRA has added an optional cam with .527" lift but it is also a hydraulc lifter cam 428 cj's did not come from the factory with solid lifters, the 427 medium riser engine did..

Not a Fairlane, not a Torino, the Cobra was a stand alone model introduced to compete directly with the Plymouth Road Runner...

No kidding! The original Reunion ep actually aired on TNN in 1998.
