You do the best drone reviews, you really know what your talking about and can explain it in a way that is easy to understand. Being new to drones I always learn something from your videos.
Hello. I like this one very much. Maybe if I don't ruin the S188, I'll think about stepping up to this one. 😃 Again, your instructions are so clear to me. Thank you so very much. You make me laugh too 😂. Happy holidays Quadcopter 101🤶🏾
Hi quadcopter 101! I suggest reviewing the FX9680. I had it for 2 weeks and flied it twice. I found some problems but i think it is pretty easy to fly! Thanks! Matt
Hola fellow quad nerd. I know i message you here time to time and typically it has nothing to do with the Drone you are testing but typically past drones you have tested. I like messaging on newer videos since it helps the algorithm. Anyways Black Friday and Cyber Monday coming up, maybe you can make a video on it, but any good deals you are maybe looking forward to that someone like me should jump in on? I am still iffy on the Neo as I already have an Avata 1 and 2 but still thinks the Neo would be fun for indoors. But if there are some cool websites or deals that are upcoming that you suggest I would love to be privvy on as well.
Just curious. Been away for awhile and returned to catch up. I noticed that your testing hasn't been done in the isolated desert areas where you spent so much time in the past. Do you ever intend to return to that area or intend to stay local ? Thanks Paul ( sasdthoh )
Staying local here in my home state. I left the desert after the back to back July 4th/5th 2019 Ridgecrest earthquakes (6.4 on the 4th, and 7.2 the very next day). That was it for my family and me. I'll put up with snow, but not earthquakes.
@@Quadcopter101 Thanks. I asked because you have been on TH-cam for approximately 12 years, more or less. Were you living in Ridgecrest at that time, nearby, or just visiting the area for your rc testing and eval ? You didn't say. Also, you did not mention your home state / area where you live now. Just curiosity has the better of me. Paul
@@Quadcopter101 WOW !@! What an environmental difference going from the east California desert to the greenery of the great state of PA. You, my friend, are a TRAVELER FOR CRTAIN ! tanks for satisfying my curiosity. By the way, I live SE of the city of Asheville, North Carolina. It shows how much your videos reach out to so many from so far away.
My first drone was the 175D fun toy till it flew away in 5mph wind. Then I got the 720e crashed it a few times finally got fed up and got a DJI. Wish I would have saved my money on the first two and went strait to a real drone. If you just want to play in the park with the kids once in a great while sure it’s ok but, if you really want to fly upgrade from Holy Stone.
Holy Clone are just existing models like SJRC but double the price on Scamazon. They don't make drones themselves. There are some pretty nice drones for $120 with GPS, brushless, gimbal. That is true budget. I would skip anything in between that and a DJI or Fimi. So yes you're right, a $200-$250 Holy Clone or something is basically wasting money. But it also isn't the end of the world. If you accept the limitations you can still shoot usable video. It's not always about how good a drone is, but what you do with it. When I visit your channel you have only one video of your Mini SE and it only got 65 views, and 3 videos of you riding a motorized bike. But if for example you had a $200 drone with good working follow-me ( few have, most are programmed wrong) and a good interesting story of your bike ride, then you may have gotten a couple thousands views regardless the quality of the video. Know what mean? Some people film a cat with a 480P camera and get a million views. A drone is just a tool. People often forget. Nobody is going to watch a tree filmed from above no matter how fantastic their $3000 DJI Mavic is. I much rather watch a fun video taken with a cheap drone. Who cares if it isn't professional quality?

i keep getting drones that need me to have a Smart phone of a certain type, What drones dont need me to hook up to some Website to get it to fly !
I just don't think you need to do the synchronizing so often in the video it's normally done at the start of every clip recorded not during the recording.
The problem is that my hat camera, phone screen recording, and the drone's camera are usually all running at different frame rates. Especially the drone cameras might operate at close to, but not quite 30fps. The synchronization might need to be adjusted several times, especially in my longer videos.
And here is your shoutout. th-cam.com/video/nPWeh_NtBK0/w-d-xo.html Unfortunately, only one shoutout allowed per winner. I'd like to increase the chances for everyone to get a shoutout.
Congratulations. You were first to say First (and who hadn't already previously won). You win a shoutout in a future QC101 video. Again, congratulations!

Thank you for the nice comments. Glad to help. :-)
I've been watching for years. I don't always comment, but I always give a thumbs up. Great as always. Thank you, Sir.
And thank you!

Sorry that was a typo. I meant FX9630
The circles in the grass is where they set the poison for the Cicada Bugs. They have been tearing up baseball fields all across the country

I lived in Ridgecrest for many years. But I'm originally from Pittsburgh PA, and now live in Erie PA.

Do you own any DJI drones?
Not any more. Got tired of their intrusive and flight restrictive apps.
No one is first
Ok
UFO drone talk anyone?😅
I swear, I've never been anywhere near Jersey.
