the sense8's screen is infamous for having green screen issues (on top of being a bad screen in general), I really hoped they fixed the screen durability in sense9
166g isn't "really, really lightweight." It's normal weight. Nexus 5X was 136g. iPhone Mini was 135g. Pixel 5 was 150g. Let's stop normalizing 200+g bricks.
Whoever is complaining about weight on a phone may need to go and tote an actual brick around before comparing a phone to one, people that make that case probably have never touched a brick in their entire lives nor done any manual work, phones are light in weight.
Amazing video ! I like small and especially light weight phones close to 150 grams mark. I had Sony xz1 compact from 2017 that i adore. I don't like iPhones except for their cameras but I became a fan of the 140 gram iPhone 12 &13 mini . The only dealbreaker here for me is that sharp removed headphone jack along with Sd card. Sony again has started to release awesome phones with headphone jack recently.
8:25 I apologize for asking bc im not from Singapore, but what other phones can you get in Singapore for 599 SGD? because 7 million Rupiah for the sense9 seems ridiculously overpriced when there's already stuff like Xiaomi 14T or Vivo V40....
wait i didn't comment the first time i thought i did

Finally, a phone that resembles the Samsung s10e. Has a micro SD slot and a headphone jack jammed in a compact body.
love myself a good compact phone, though availability is pretty scarce.
Bruh the size is 149mm tall x 73mm width not even close to s10e
No 3.5mm jack on the sense 9, but you can use an active USB C dongle as compensation
@@13galaxyone way is to import the Japanese sim free version via a reshipper like zenmarket
6:23 *When they still made smol zenfones
Because sadly the new zenfone is just a watered down ROG
😔

I have an Aquos sense 7 plus and I can tell there has been improvements made to the color accuracy and no more subtle backlight bleeding in the dark
I hope so too.
just like Samsung king of gréen lines
maybe sharp buying display from Samsung
@@GameC3nt if that's true that's kinda sad. Like, they made TVs surely display is one of their strongest suits?
@@GameC3nt sharp actually makes its own OLEDs for mobile, although I haven't seen them being used by other brands afaik.
Have you not made this video, i wouldnt have known this exists! Kudos to you! I like how you made this video! more power to you!
I think I'm probably one of two english language reviews of this phone, haha. thanks!
I cracked my knuckles to this video
knuckles: cracked
Where's sonic?
@AGNDoesTech busy making sonic 3
Thanks for the video!
Hope u can review r9.
if sharp doesn't ghost me again! haha
I need to save $ first- maybe by then the R10 will come
@@13galaxy maybe they can send u sense8?
i wonder the actual difference between these two.
Since s7 gen2 just a overclocked 6 gen 1 anyway.
Anyway the R9 has much less shutter lag than the sense 9
I have own many Sharp phones and the sense Series up to Sense6.
It's just the Japan phones are tuned softly by design.
To avoid sodcasting?
It may be small, but i'm sure it has a nice personality
it's got 3 android updates worth of personality
@13galaxy hahaha ur so funny
Your video are great and really well made kudos 👏
thank you so much!

it's lightweight in comparison to a lot of phones nowadays. shame that 240g bricks are normal now.
lol. 166 g is not 200+g. please edit your rant.
@@BryTe22 I didn't say it was. Please edit your brain.

I would not call a base iPhone tiny 😭
coming from a big phone, this is tiny to me 😭

ouch. I'll have to use and see.
Some of my sharp phones in my collection did acquire this problem, although to be fair it only happened several years after they were brand new

thanks! personally I did love the iPhone minis myself!
I'm fine with no headphone jack, but having microSD support is pretty good to see on this phone
Sense 9 does have microsd card but no 3.5mm. the predecessor sense 8 has both but comes with thicker bezels
Does it have wireless charging?
it's an aluminium unibody, so there's no wireless charging.
@@13galaxyThe pixel 5 had an aluminium body with a cutout to fit the wireless charging coil.
@AGNDoesTech but that had a powder coat over it that allowed that, this is straight up aluminium.

the Nothing Phone (2a) is 499SGD, (2a) Plus is 549SGD.
@@AGNDoesTech i thought the Xiaomi 14T is 579 SGD
May I know how does PS2 emulation via AetherSX2 run on this phone? That's a really nice phone, let me check how much does it retail in Singapore
6:27 you could say the same about the Xperia 5v
yeah, true
I like it.
honestly, same.
does this phone have dual speaker?
technically, yes, but the stereo imaging is quite poor. the earpiece speaker is a lot softer than the main speaker
