Same thing happened with GPS technology. during kargil war in 1999 India requested USA to provide GPS data but Americans refused and instead provided support to pakistan. India realised we cant depend on US and from that necessity developed our own GPS called NaviC. Commercial/civilian GPS is mostly still google in India but for military we use our own GPS. So here is the explaination of some topics you asked for
Emergency: The PM of India Indira Gandhi was facing Political trumouil and she wanted to be the PM again. As she was the daughter of JawaharLal Nehru and now she is facing corruption charges and other scams. That's why in the night she declared Emergency. All the Opposition leaders were jailed ( not like today only One CM of Delhi is in jail that's because the Court said it). Thousands of people were killed. So much happened during that time and it was the darkest period of Indian history that a leader killed the democracry of it's own country.
    1996 Govt Collapsed:
Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji was the one of the founding leader of BJP ( Bhartiya Janta Party) which is now currently ruling India... He won the election and became the PM but opposition used their power and money to bought the leaders in their favour and brought the No Confidence motion in Parliament. Vajpayee's government lasted 13 months until mid-1999 when the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) under J. Jayalalithaa withdrew its support and that support was crucial because PM needs only one vote which was withdrawn. PM said so mnay great quotes but one of them was:
"Sarkaare aayengi jaayengi, par ye desh nahi rukna chayie, Aaj hum ek vote ke wajah se bhaar ho rhe hai iske liye aap humara uphaas uda rhe Kal hum wapas aayenge aur log aapka uphaas udayenge"
Governments will come and go, but this country should not stop, Today you all mocking us because we lost with one vote, but there will be a day when we come back and people will make fun of you
What he said was totally true... Congress mocked the Atal ji govt at that time.. Today the same BJP is in Majority and in heavy Majority whereas congress is now only getting 50-70 seats...

Like Homi Jahangir Bhabha predicted that they could create a functional Nuclear bomb in 18 months in 1966 , if that was accomplished at that time India would have sorted out all their issues with Pakistan and they had only China to focus on , but that was horror dream for USA to see ASIA uniting as Europe and Become greatest power house of the World.

But Japan and Germany wants and puts their best, these 2 states can be a real pain to anyone who challenge them..
Japan may be a nuclear power in few years .. but if they are freed from US shackles, they are months away from nuclear weapon ..

Hey Reldrik, long time subscriber, just a cautionary warning now that you are getting into deeper India stuff. India in general is hypernationalist and most online content will have a RW bias and a small handful with a LW bias. You would have already umderstood from the comments on your videos. While this video of Think School was OK, a lot of them are really bad, riddled with biases. Would recommend you watch stuff like India in Pixels which explores India in a more of a seeker way than history channels which add spice to simple facts.
