  • This is a 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Scat Pack which we just finished installing Stainless Works headers and exhaust. The customer wanted a more aggressive tone so we ordered the exhaust with the s-tube mufflers. Work was done at Naperville Automotive Solutions. Sounds nice, when you do the right foot stomp under acceleration it will sound wonderful. Hate that raspy farty sound the Mid Muffler delete guys are running.

MoparFam 300C scatpack has an SRT engine, as does every SRT car. Dodge organizes their trim models by the engine and performance, the SXTs and GTs are v6’s, the RTs are 5.7s, and the SRTs are 6.2s and 6.4s. The scatpack is the only one that is an RT without the RT engine. It has an SRT engine so it’s an SRT. Dodge calls it an RT cause in the 70s the scatpacks were RTs and they wanted to preserve tradition and call modern scatpacks RTs when they are really SRTs. It’s good to know your cars heritage and history before you claim someone is not a car guy without knowing what ur talking about.

@catalyst_99 they offered the scatpack and srt 392 during the same time, it wasn’t one before the other. And there is no difference in sound or performance because the performance of both cars is engineered by SRT and have the same specs and power

    • @MonoYort

@catalyst_99 Difference with SRT and Scat is literally suspension and badging. Scat's are powered by the SRT engine, what difference does it make?

Did you go with 1 7/8" or the 2" primary tubes ?? I also noticed that you still have the resonators on. I already have the 3" Hurst Elite series on my T/A 392 but have no resonators. Looking into long tubes and catted pipes. I just love that low/quiet idle and the ripping sound with the big foot on the gas !!!

Just a scat pack mate. They do not call them SRT8 anymore since 2014. Plus, the SRT is a trim level about this one.

Same engine and specs, srt392/scatpack is essentially the same car. Both have the srt engine so

@@Clutched392 Just cause R/T Scat Pack has the same engine as SRT 392 doesn't fucking make R/T Scat Packs SRT's, you're out of your goddamn mind if you think they're the same, VIN Numbers will prove you wrong that Scat Packs are SRT, they never were to begin with, so stop making excuses

MoparFam 300C again with the hateful comments. I already explained it but I will elaborate a little more for you in case you didn’t understand the first time. The name of the engine determines the type of car it is. It’s got an RT engine you call it an RT. It’s got an SRT engine you call it an SRT. SRT stands for Street Racing Technology. If the car has that then it’s an SRT, it doesn’t have to be labeled by dodge to be considered one.
