I agree that Houston is on the upswing. But Chicago has a long way to climb to be "competitive" IMO. They've drafted well, and have made some good free agent acquisitions, but I'm not sold on Eberflus as HC. I think the Bears will be an IMPROVED team. But I'm not convinced they're competitive just yet. Also the other teams in the NFC North have improved as well. They look good on paper, but they have a LOT to prove. Especially their coach.
That's why they play the games! 28 days till the hall of Fame game!
What is competitive? .500 record I would say that would mean just 2 more wins

One thing to keep in mind woth Allen coming into Chi. He dose get hurt. Last year he missed 5 games. So I can see him getting hurt again and how will Caleb and that offence respond.
When he got hurt last year his absence was noticeable

I do think Waldron is going to do a great job with him and that offence but, a turnover here and a needed missed 3rd down there can cost games so I can see them not winning the division or winning 10-11 games like some others
