If anyone is reading this, please pray for me. My name is Hailey. I am a mom of two little boys 1 and 2.5 and 10 weeks pregnant with my third. I’m just so tired.. in every way.. I cry over everything and I feel like everything is falling apart. I haven’t been praying as much because it’s hard for me to pray when I’m so irritated at everything. Try praying to God every time you feel sad or feel a struggle within your heart. The same way you would text a gf or voice your concerns with someone else. Build that relationship with the Lord. He wants this badly for you! I want that for you!! Part of your prayer life is habit building. Carve out time every day for time in God’s Word.
For me- some days I will load my kids up in the car and before we even get out to go to the park or store I will open my Bible. I will first pray for eyes to see, ears to listen and an open heart for God to reveal to me whatever it is He wants me to take in, in that moment. Even if you spend 5 mins reading several times throughout the day- AWESOME 👏
Listen Hailey you’ve got this. I feel so much hope for you for you right now. The Holy Spirit is telling me you have so much to offer this next generation for your children. Raise them to know and love the Lord.
This is a chapter. You will get through this. Give yourself grace and rest. You are making a human! Let the house get messy, run the dishwasher twice bc you don't have the energy to rinse. Ask for help.
Praying for you mama 🩷 I’ve been there. It was a harder season of life but I am through it and can say I miss those days. Give yourself lots of grace and pray a ton. Rest when you need to rest and spend time with your boys. The house will get cleaned and it won’t matter in the long run. I hope this can encourage you!
Okay. This is CRAZY. I never comment. Ever. But I had to. I read the parable of the ten virgins this morning. This! Morning! I have been slowly working my way through the Bible for the past 8 months after being an atheist for ten years. And then the very verse I read this morning is in this video?? What!?! Praise God. My wake up call was one morning, I heard God say “Breakfast and Bible” and ever since, opening up Gods word is something I either do before breakfast or while I’m sipping my morning coffee and my son is having breakfast. It’s been so refreshing to have this new rhythm.
You are so wise Milena, I am sure it can be so difficult and exhausting for you to constantly be making videos and taking care of your family and home. But, I just want to say THANK YOU, because you are truly helping so many other women grow closer to God. You are a gem, and I am sure our Lord is so proud of you and pleased.
My two littles (2&4) were in the bath this morning, I’m sitting crocheting and watching them.. my 4 year old starts singing and talking to my 2 year old about how God loves us etc, I turned that into a moment to really disciple them, teaching the word etc. I could feel the Holy Spirit guide me. I even just read the scripture of the day in the Bible app and it’s low pressure, easy to develop a habit of opening the Bible first thing and not feeling like your failing by not getting enough time with God. But just meditating on simple easy lines of scripture is a easy start to get in a habit of this. There are seasons for every type of reading but know there is no wrong way to spend time in Gods word 💖🙏🏽

I grew up in church but had several issues and ended up leaving right after high school. I subscribed to you forever ago for the mom content but then you started making videos about God and it at first made me cringe and then a few other influencers that i follow came out and started talking about their relationship with God and it still made me cringe but I still stayed and listened and just listening to you guys share your love for Jesus and explaining the word has opened my eyes and I finally get it. I’m back in church and i’m experiencing a relationship with Jesus that I never experienced before and I’m so thankful that you used your platform to share the gospel bc it changed my life 💕

I use to read my Bible before going to bed, I would be so tired and forget what I was even reading because my brain wasn't working after a long day. Then I started thinking that something is way off, reading the Bible is the most important not the least. Now that's what I started doing, first I read the Bible and than I do everything else that I need to get done that day. And let me tell you it has made a huge difference in my life!

What made me take reading the Word more seriously was when i was going through post partum depression and rage and God lifted me out of that misery i felt and guided me to cling to Him in everyday❤

I have been reading my Bible daily for the past year and half. For me it was a form of making myself a priority in my life. I realized that I was serving everyone in my family (happily serving) but neglecting to do something that filled my cup. Now each morning when I drink my coffee I read 1 chapter in my Bible, a section in a book that will help me (parenting, marriage,homeschool, devotional, etc) and a section from a book just for fun. Reading has always been something I enjoyed and now I make sure I do this everyday.
Organization and a decent night sleep. I was in a season a few months ago, I got up early and read as much as i could before the house woke up. Since moving this march I just stare at my bible and the Holy Spirit tugs at me but I’m constantly putting it off cause I’ve been so unorganized and getting settled in. Even when I have time I don’t. Praying for this hold to stop and just act when the HS is obviously speaking to me. Also being strict about phone time. I hate how addicting our phones are. My down time I just want to “rest” and I scroll 🙄. Sometimes I wanna throw my phone away. This video was very inspiring and my spirit was truly savoring ur bible readings and talk. Def need to just get it together.
I totally agree with you. I'd have those days as well when my life isn't organized and I feel like I am not on top of my game that I feel like my spiritual life is affected. I've had many instances where I imagined getting rid of my "smart" phone and just getting a flip phone. But do you know what I realized what truly was going on? I am prioritizing other things and not those that are actually my priorities, and the enemy was definitely hard at work taking away my heart from the Lord. Let's keep each other in prayer.
Oh Milena i so needed this today! I was so diligently reading my Bible and then stopped for many weeks, close to a month. I picked it up yesterday again and spent some vulnerable time with Jesus and already I feel better today thanks to it. God truly works miracles when we come to him. ❤❤❤

Wow. I really never comment on a video, but I feel like i need to because I was just praying to God about that I left Him and how I return and start reading again in the Bible. Where to start and praying that He would help me, guide me and give me the strength to keep on reading! I am a mom of 2 that was noticing a distance to my kids and husband, also to other relationships, and I am starting to see that its all because I gave myself a lot of reasons to go away from the Lord, His word en wisdom! I really needed this today. Blessed are you Milena. Thank you for putting out videos like this and encouraging other women and moms to seek our Maker, our Lord as He will give our lives a purpose!

Oh wow Milena! I have been under a really heavy attack this week, and today in church I realized I didn't even recognized it's the enemy. So I was just about to search a specific teaching about sobernes, with this passage in mind, but your video popped up and I decided to watch it first. So when you started to read the passage, I was shocked and had goosebumps on the timing. Thank you for constantly reminding to be sober, and thank for you being on the internet, dear!
Milena😭I just had my third a month tomorrow and it’s been a struggle, physically for me and our baby girl has just cried, cried so much(finally a lot better) but I’ve been so distant from God and a month ago he was my lifeline but in the thick of actually needing Him I’ve just left him for no reason other than human fault but I’ve also felt angry bc it’s felt like the joys of welcoming our third were quickly gone from all the “problems”. However, knowing this was most likely our last a prayer was that I could just hold this baby bc I didn’t remember ever holding our previous child bc she was just so big and never “needed” us, little miss independent but oh so sweet, and that’s what HE did, he forced me to be physically unable to walk and family came over and cared for me while I sat in the chair and just held my baby. Now 3 weeks later I see it as an answered prayer. We also have to walk with her constantly which is at times a burden with 2 other littles but now I soak it in and take that time as opportunity to pray over my house and family. Today for the first time in a month I opened my Bible App while rocking her outside and my eldest played and chose James of all Books and just felt conviction from every direction, every word was hitting my heart😭❤️thank you from the bottom of my heart for your wisdom and for stepping away from your family to take the time and make this video❤️❤️

So encouraging that you speak about reciting songs, I was talking with some sisters about this. I was able to recite a whole movie or more when I was younger, what a waste of time. So my goal is to remember a book of the bible! Revelations.

i needed this so badly. ever since getting pregnant last year and now 5 months postpartum i lost my fire and completely lost myself in the beginning with a newborn. i’m finally getting my fire back, praying and worshipping but reading has been my biggest struggle. especially since my baby is an orchid (higher needs/care than regular flowers) baby he only contact naps and co sleeps. the only time i can read is on my phone but my flesh wins most of the time so i scroll instead. i needed this video, im so convicted!

Love this episode!! What changed for me was wanting to be the example that I wanted for my children. I wanted them to hunger and thirst for God‘s word and so I prayed that I would also be a reflection of that!! I now open my Bible and keep it open all day! The best part is is that most days when I sit down to read my children ask me to read it out loud! At the end of the day, this is what it’s all about ❤
An encouraging video. Thank you. We just did a deep dive of the parable of the 10 Virgins in church. I love when God makes a point through repetition! I found a shift in my Bible reading when I habit stacked it with my morning coffee, just part of my routine. Sometimes it's interrupted by my little ones, other times I can have uninterrupted time if they're not awake yet.
I haven’t even started this video but God must know how badly I need it because I have been STRUGGLING as of late. God bless you for leading us closer to God each and every day!

Love this!! I had a similar epiphany - that I don't need to read a lot or do it perfectly for it to "count" and now I love reading a verse or two to meditate on while I'm waiting for my grocery pickup or doing something that used to trigger me to open up Instagram.
Thankful for this opportunity encouraging reminder, I have recently drifted away from my bible after feeling like I was finally back on fire for the Lord. Some things that help me are that when I’m feeling discouraged because I don’t have Christian friends around me I go to other things we have access to instead! TH-cam, podcasts, instagram all of people sharing their faith and encouraging me in ways a friend group would until i am blessed with such

I really struggled how to read the Bible as I have been enriching my journey with Christ and found that the Bible app plans are SO GREAT! I feel led to read more and dive deeper into versus and passages with the context of the chapter along with the devotions which help me get into a mindset of how I could connect this to my walk of life! I am praying God will help lead me to be more independent in reading His word without the guided devotionals in the future, for right now it helps so much!! ❤️❤️
The singing is why it’s easy to remember. Classical conversations homeschool actually does this bc of how it invokes the brain to memorize
Thank you for this video Lord. Thank you for using Milena to spread the good news of your Word and for bringing us such stark truths in a humbling yet loving way. For me, my mother in law is currently dying from terminal cancer and is a Jehovah’s Witness, as we used to be. Seeing this very sad situation unfold has shown me how short life is and yet how merciful Jesus is. So that, along with watching this video, and prayer has given me the conviction to read the Word daily.
Gosh I needed that reminder that I need to read his word. I was reading it every morning but I stopped. I need to get back on board.

Look at God. I read this passage yesterday and re-reading it with you gave me greater understanding. To see Jesus our bridegroom in our everyday we need to keep reading His word. I felt like I have been going through this. What changed for me was having a friend show me that the bible app has a one year bible plan. Having her show me how to find it and save it was helpful to me. The plan is in the format that I prefer in which has old, new, proverbs and Psalms in each days reading. Now I use it everyday and am up to date on my readings. So no matter what is happening I know I can put it on, even if I am driving. Sometimes I play it more than once. I am so happy with this right now because I am so busy and had bought into the idea that I didn't have enough time to read my bible. Anyway you are able to read God's word is important that you do. I have read my physical bible from cover to cover twice before and right now I am going to Graduate School, I work full time and I have a family so having this bible app and doing the one year bible plan is working out perfectly for this season of my life.

Girl everything you are saying is what I have been implementing in my life and today is the first day I forgot my Bible in months and I feel so naked without it.
I found it so hard to sit down and read my Bible when my daughter was first born. As I got into the swing of things I learned that her longest nap was the first nap of the day and I would read a chapter of the New Testament and really chew on it. I still do this and it has been great. I was so discouraged in the beginning bc I didn’t know I could find the time. But now I got it!
I’ve been feeling the exact same conviction about Bible verses vs knowing songs! I’ve started putting verses on notecards on my bathroom mirror and as my screen saver to work on memorizing them 🤞🏾
Paused this and started a monthly Bible verse memory challenge starting with Psalm 119:11 Thank you for this scripture-rich reminder.

@15:25 That's when Scripture Memorization comes in. It is so important that we take time to memorize the Scripture so that when we need it, it is right there ready to encourage us. Also, I have learned about writing encouraging and inspiring Bible verses in index cards and carrying it with us wherever we go so that when "temptations round us gather" we can pull those cards and fight the enemy the way Jesus did using the "It is written" method. I have found it to be very helpful.
Yes! It is indeed very important to make time for Jesus each day--morning and evening. I struggle with it, too, but unless I make time for Him and spend time with Him, I am unable to represent Him aright to my family. I am not the child God wants me to be. I am easily irritable, angered, frustrated, and instead of being a blessing to my husband and to my children, I am a curse. So, yes, time alone with God gives me the strength, the wisdom, that I need for the day. Apart from Him, I am nothing. Realizing that I have to give up a little bit of sleep or let go of some house projects for the next day just so I can have that quiet time with the Lord. It is hard but I also notice that when I make that sacrifice He helps me manage my time better so I can everything done that I need to do for that day. He is gracious and merciful. Matthew 6:33 does say that when we seek Him and His righteousness "all these things shall be added unto" us.

Another take away from the parable that I got. I have been giving my oil away!! My lamp is empty sometimes because I've given away all of my oil!! 🤯 I have to protect my oil so I can keep my lamp full!! Praise God. Thank you Jesus.
The whole beginning section of this video perfectly displays the lack of self discipline in all of us. It’s so easy to discipline our children to brush their teeth, but so difficult to discipline ourselves to read the Word!

i honestly appreciate your videos. i have felt such deep conviction on some of them, but i do thank the Lord for the correction.... He cares so m uch about our hearts. and when we are doing something that is evil. He corrects us. so i thank you for the reminders. and also the encouragment.
Hi Milena. I struggled reading my Bible at first, then I bought a good study bible and it made all the difference, love reading my Bible now. PS. I prayed that God would give me a love for His word and the next day I heard someone tell someone else to go get this study bible, it is what prompted me to go get one myself.
Something that helps me listening to the Bible on the Bible app.
As well as follow a bible study or plan as I go through a particular book .
I think it may be less challenging if we approach the word in a fun way .
I have small children , so I think about how we can both get the word in at the same time , that also helps.
Also realizing that any desire to not want to read is an attack from Satan himself .
Have fun with it , ask God to lead as you seek him .

What is that brand/ type of bible?
Hard bed time for my toddler at 7:30pm no exceptions. then clean the kitchen, shower, get ready for bed and read my Bible in bed before going to sleep. My husband does his own routine at the same time or later and we both end up discussing what I’m reading that evening and it’s really great. I typically find that when I tell myself just read one chapter or paragraph, I end up reading more because it’s so interesting plus I’m working through the Old Testament right now and if I spent whole days to ponder one verse at a time, it would take the rest of my life to get through the whole thing haha

Recently I started getting into my Bible again and I encourage anyone who is reading this to not just read the words but study them! Study what they were meaning when they said specific words and reflect on those words. I've learned that when you are truly studying scripture and reading it how the Lord intended, you start to desire it more and God transforms you through His word. Praise the Lord!
I will go in and out of reading God's word but the one thing that keeps me anchored is writing my daughter's note for her school lunch every day.
I always add a 1-3 verses. Keeps us both in his hands.
Milena, I would recommend looking into a NASB version bible, that is what I read along with NKJV and find it to be very clear and helpful while not completely leaving chunks of scripture out or adding in mans idea of scripture, as I have found to be an issue with other versions. 🥰

You are encouraging me so much with reading the Bible. I have two kids, and I would love your opinion on using the rod to discipline the kids. Could you make a video talking about that? You are such a Bible believer, and the Bible makes it clear that parents must use the rod for their children to grow wise. So I am so curious on how you recomend disciplinig and instructing our kids. My kryptonite are distractions like shows, fiction books, projects around the house and doom scrolling. I've slowly been realizing this and have been putting limits. No more shows that make the Holy Spirit sad for example and I'm fasting from social media on my phone (I don't scroll so much on my laptop). I seem to be hearing the Holy Spirit better now. I can be quite stubborn, so I still have a long way to go. But I feel closer and my hunger for the Word is growing. I'd love if someone could pray for me to have this breakthrough I feel I desperately need.
There’s no excuses honestly. I’ve been doing the read the Bible in a year plan and I’m a busy mom of two young’s and a wife and going to school too. I read 3-5 chapters a day on my phone app throughout the day which is the easiest thing in the world.
You look so beautiful. Glowing! Can you share how to do simple make up. I'm mum of four like you but never wear make up. I simply not sure how to do it properly and also don't want anything that takes more then few minutes. Any suggestions?

Hoping for some advice or encouragement. I just moved to a new state with my husband and three boys 5 and under. I want to find a home church for my family but my husband always works on Sundays. The thing that has changed for me is my perspective. It really helps to know that it’s not about the action of just reading my Bible to read it but rather that I WANT to KNOW God. The only way to do that is to read His word. I don’t want to read the Bible to “just get through” but get to know my savior and form a relationship with Him. ❤
If anyone is reading my comment, please pray for me as well. I’m going through a difficult season of anxiety. I have intrusive thoughts and can’t pull myself out. I’m scared all the time. I have a 5 year old and a husband. I know I need to be closer to God. I grew up going to church but left after O turned 18. Thank you.

If we’re not supposed to change any of gods word- why are so many translations different? And which one is closest to the original language?
