Crochet Doll Part 1 | Crochet Doll All One Piece

- Hey guys! I hope this video finds you well and happy! This is the first part to my crochet doll! I have been working on this for quite some time and I am excited to finally share it with you! In Part one we go over the top of the head, how to add the hair and eyes and work the body down to where we are going to start the legs. This doll is worked to be all one piece with no pieces sewn together! You will need about 200 yards for the body of the doll depending on how loosely you work, and about 50 yards for the hair depending on how long you make it. The dolls size can differ depending on tension and amount of stuffing used. I did not include how to make a mouth, as you can see none of my dolls have mouths. I wanted to leave that up to you guys beings as there are soo many different ways to do so! I hope you all enjoy this doll and that it brings you and your littles tons of happiness!

I made it !!!😱 Her head on straight, the neckline is portion and sitting square on her shoulders. I’m so excited. 😁 This is my second doll I ever made. Your instructions made it so simple and understandable with out second guessing if it was right. I only had to tear out and start over 1 x in the neck/shoulders lining up with the chin.. Get those stitches straight girls!!! Good job instructing. !!! Can’t wait to finish

I’m pretty sure I’ve answered this question for you. I wouldn’t change the pattern at all. If you want to change the size, you want to change your hook size and tension
How would you do short hair? Double or triple the strands. I am thinking maybe even 4 to a strand? Thoughts? Thank you.

You can use what ever yarn works for you it will just change the size possibly ☺️☮️💙🎶
Hi, After completing row 22 you said should have 20 sc but on row 23 you say to do increase 2 so 2 sc then another one side by side. You do that twice on row 23. At the end you say on the last sc you should have 7 sc. I don’t have 7 stitches left. There must be a math error cause the row before I have what you said which is 20sc. Please help

is it okay to use 5mm hook?
Definitely! Will just change the size a little bit but you can always work with a slightly lighter tension and it’ll probably be about the same size ☺️☮️💙🎶

Row 28..did you mean you should have 42 stitches ( you said 48)cause row 27 we had 44 and we did 2 decreases in row 28
No, round 28 you should be increasing by four stitches. Going from 44 to 48 single crochets 😊 it is two increases 😊☮️💙🎶
