This is one of the best houses that you have shown. Great Tour!
The lower level entrance keeps your upper level cleaner. Shoes off!
Merry Christmas Jonathan..... Can you do a recap on some of your previous showings, have all the houses sold that you reviewed?
I absolutely love this layout! This is exactly how you design a home in 2024. While I’m not typically a fan of open floor plans, this design makes it work by thoughtfully spacing the main floor areas, incorporating an office, and creating a practical bottom floor. It’s ideal for a family to live comfortably on the top two levels while using the bottom floor for entertaining.
Beyond that, the layout also has potential as a multi-generational home. The bottom floor could serve a variety of purposes, including:
1. A guest suite for visiting family or friends
2. A rental unit-perfect for seasonal renters or professionals who frequently travel between cities
3. Living quarters for a parent, in-law, or young adult seeking some independence
If I were customizing my “ideal” version of this home, I’d make a few changes…
- Add a dedicated entry for the middle floor to enhance privacy and convenience.
- Install kitchen appliances on the bottom floor to create a fully independent living space.
That said, 509 days on the market is quite a long time for any home. I’d definitely take a closer look at factors. If I were buying I would…
• Speak with people in the neighborhood to get insights on the area
• Evaluate the school district’s reputation and performance
• Checking crime rates and overall safety
• Review transportation options and accessibility
• Get Comps
• check HOA fees, rules, and regulations
Based on some homes, the designer really thought things through.
I love this house I love the openness of all the windows and I especially love the way you walk in on the lower level, that featured awesome.
I really really love this house. The lower level allows you to entertain guests without bringing them into your personal space. Merry Christmas Jonathan🌲🎁!!
Congrats 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 🎊 ❤❤ 10K subscribers. Bravo a wonderful achievement 👏 👏👏
❤❤❤❤ HOUSE, including the elevator, which makes it more accessible for a person with a disability. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
OMG! this is my dream house. I love it! would totally buy this. I like the lower level.
Absolutely B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L.!!!! ~~ everything!!!! And, because there is an elevator, walking in on that wonderful lower level is not a problem. I'm so in love with this home. Also really love the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living, dining, and the last bedroom ...💛💛💛
Congratulations! It says 10k subscribers. All the best for the season and great blessings and success for 2025.
Omg! What dreams are made of. Beautiful home, Jonathan. 💯
Congratulations on making 10k subscribers Jonathan!👏🏼👏🏼 I like the house, especially the 3 levels.
My style i love it
I LOVE his/her commodes....way to save a marriage!!!! 🙂🙂🙂
I LOVE THIS HOUSE!!!!!! ❤️❤❤❤❤❤
I love walking into the lower level. Unfamiliar visitors wouldn't have access to your main living areas.
If I could afford it, I would move just to purchase this house! I am in love with this home!!
I wish the master bathroom would have been amazing due to the large size of the home. Also, all the bathrooms are mid.😢 The first floor basement is weirdo, too. I dont like walking into the basement, and i would say, "it's no for me because of the neighborhood!"
I like the house for someone else. The nice thing about entering on the lower level is that, your guest doesn't have to go any further if you don't want them having access to your main living areas. The down side, if that elevator goes down, they will be carrying groceries or whatever else up a couple flights of stairs. The front of the home reminds me of a modern New Orleans boarding house.
I love this house and that lower level entry. The MBR, kitchen, elevator and yard are highlights. Thanx Jonathan.
That was a fabulous house, and I think I like that you came in on the lower level.
Congratulations on hitting 10K!
The house has a lot of pieces that should go together but something is off for me. I don't understand such small closets in the bedrooms or why these homes have elevators that can barely fit a person (or someone in a wheelchair/walker who would need the elevator) inside.
The main bedroom/bathroom is lovely but the garden level is laid out weirdly. I think the aim for the asking price was to make it the most expensive in the neighborhood which is also why it hasn't sold yet. Would be interesting to know the comps for the area but I suspect they will need to drop the price to get it sold especially since the price doesn't include pool already completed.
Yes I love this house, I'm putting this on my one day wish list
What's the location please ❤❤❤ and walking in on the ground level is not a big deal for me
Love ❤ love ❤ love ❤ this property. There's nothing to complain about. Entering the home on the lower level is not an issue. The builder provided every amenity. Must save more coins, since house on market over 500 days.
Congrats! You hit your goal!
I think it’s a winner and I love the walk out basements we have a lot of homes like that in MI.
As someone from California who didn't grow up with basements, I actually like the lower or basement level being above ground. My hubby is from DC and when we relocated to the DMV area I can say that some of the basements scared my kids and me. LOL. The last townhouse we lived in had 3 floors and the entry/lower level was connected to the garage, powder room, closet, den/office and laundry room. The 2nd and 3rd floors had the living/dinning room, kitchen, etc. It made it feel like all of those areas were actually part of the home.
Congrats 🎉
I don't ever have a TV in the bedroom!!!! I applaud you and your wife👍👍👍
Hi Jonathan, loving this gorgeous home. This is something that I would like to be in. Keep it coming Jonathan. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year as well.
I love this house and how you walk into the basement to new people you invite on business maybe don’t have access to the full house or it can be a in-law suite ❤
Ohh love the outside structure great curbside view
Congratulations on your 10k well earned achievement brother… peace.
I think it is a beautiful home and I don't mind entering on the lower level, but I do wonder if the much smaller and older homes in the neighborhood are hampering the sale.
This house is so 🔥 👌🏾 I love everything about it. The layout is immaculate!!!!!
Congratulations on reaching 10, 000 subscribers! This house looks well made and there are pretty parts of it. But I think it's ridiculously large. A small town could all live there. It also feels very sterile. There's no character. Entering on the "basement" level isn't a terrible idea. It's different but not bad
Beautiful home, I don’t like rain shower heads so I would change that in the main bathroom. Love the elevator especially with groceries.
Congrats on 10 subscribers!
When I bought my house, there was a subdivision like this where you had to go through another neighborhood with smaller older homes. I didn’t like that so I ended up building in another neighborhood that wasn’t surrounded by smaller older homes.
Great layout. Really good house.
I love this home! Love the idea of company not walking in on the main level too! It's like a 3-level townhouse without the attachment 😂😂 What's up with that price though? Very specific.
Wow I like the house and the the style of the home there is so much like and I like the entry. I think it’s really great and unique. I like the elevator in this house because it looks more spacious than other ones. I’ve seen beautiful house outside space great love this one.
A Beautiful Home
Nice house. The two separate WC(17:34) will foresure settle some argument before the begin. Congrat on your 10K subs. Great video, keep it up and let aim for higher.❤❤❤❤
A really nice house!
The 'view' in back appears to be an undeveloped pipestem lot, based on the empty corridor between this house and the home next door, so another monstrosity probably will arise DIRECTLY behind.
Misleading entrance that doesn't direct you upstairs.
Very bland and too much wasted space.
My question; why are the bathroom lights mounted with the globes facing up instead of down? Impossible to reach up and over to change a bulb but so easy just to reach up and in if they're facing down. Electricians do it all the time.
Wow I like the house and the the style of the home there is so much like and I like the entry. I think it’s really great and unique.
Hello the house is beautiful but they are making these homes for younger people and if they have children what about the steps and the heights it seems so high not geared for senior citizens
This house is ridiculously awesome..glad they have a elevator..well thought of to have one..the price is reasonable for the house I would say..🤔the lower level is right where it needs to be...keeps all visitors from walking all around the house..and stay entertained basically down there..so to speak 😉
The basement is called the terrace level
Beautiful home
It is Beautiful! Not a big deal walking in on the lower level
Looks like my old neighborhood...
Loved it!!
Yo! J.M/ I have to say once again, about another home, the exterior of these homes, definitely have amazing curb appeal.Like I'm more contemporary with the interior of homes,so the 2nd floor balcony for me would be a plus.As far as walking in on the lower level..not much of an issue for me...I like this one👍
YO!!! That Primary Suite Tho!!! His/Her throughout!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
Beautiful home! That’s for sharing.
Priced too high.
Beautiful.but in terms of safety, there are too many easy points of entry.
Don't like walking in on that level. I think it is over priced. It is nice. Maybe $1.5M Nice job. Stay blessed
I LOVE this home!
Here’s the thing… I don’t know who they are designing these houses for because they’re not family friendly….. I can’t imagine having kids going up and down steps all day cleaning….. seem like people are more worried about entertaining than being a family unit
Love it. Should ad 4 season room. Prefer open elevator to see out
thanks
I think the layout for this house was designed to be an in-law suite in lieu of a full basement which would explain why there was a washer/dryer on that level when you walk in. It also explains why there wasn’t a kitchen on the lower level since older adults may not be as cautious about leaving the stove on or something like that as they get older. Also having an elevator in the house makes it easier for older parents to get to the other floors and interact with the rest of the family. Just my thoughts since I have seen other homes with similar layouts.
Love your videos
Beautiful home great price
The first appliance you approached was the microwave and maybe a built-in air frier type thingy or toaster oven
I like it. 😍 It's different. I don't think the layout or design is for a traditional family. The lower level is nice for entertainment and the elevator makes it doable. 😂
Luv this home...
Nice house but again, for me, it’s just too large. I don’t mind a missing basement. Pretty kitchen.
I got some folks in Fredericksburg hey😊
The different levels are fine and seemingly great for kids and their friends (gaming, screaming girls, card/football parties, etc.) There are far too many open sitting and eating areas for the space. I would like an exercise, movie, or another bedroom based on size. The shower in the owner's suite is a huge no for me, due to my hair! The size of the bedroom closets for the space is disappointing. Every home I've entered has been on ground level and I've been happy. TFS!😊
Those houses are HIDEOUS! Very pretty inside. Some nice universal design elements, including handles on all doors, wide doors, and rocker light switches. That dining table is very squeezed in. Obscene to have a stove that large: gas guzzler, with scientifically-proven toxic emissions (in a home????). I wish people would pay attention to energy conservation and air quality. This impacts everyone else, not just the owners.
This home should have multiple energy efficiencies, otherwise, it's not current from day one. Far more value in energy efficiencies than some of the "amenities" in this house.
The bedrooms are small except the master. A closet with windows? All the clothes fade.
CONGRATULATIONS🎊👏🏼💐🥳🎊10K 😁. Entering the house on the level isn't a deal breaker, my issue is the gallons and gallons of paint needed to get rid of that gray!!!! 😂. A two million plus house and the kitchen cabinets are not soft closed - the laundry room has no cabinets or counters and the pantry has no shelves. 🤔
The price is great
Gorgeous home, overpriced and too stylish for the neighborhood. I’m not a fan of the main floor. They should flip it with the top floor, where heat rise. Also, if you have that income, you’re not moving into that neighborhood.
Happy Friday and Merry Christmas Everyone! Jonathan, please remove your shoes and place them to the side of the door to prevent tripping. 😊
It a beautiful home.
Very odd location for the laundry room, too many windows for me, I love a lot of light but being in close quarters i don't like the fact they everyone can see what I have going on & what I'm doing....& yes that's what window treatments are for but with that many windows makes it really costly. I think the other bedrooms could be bigger instead investing in the multiple dining & sitting areas and for me I prefer larger on a lower level versus multiple levels to where I need an elevator. All in all, nice house but not for me.
Its a big creepy house with too many windows and very little privacy also overpriced the room placements are strange
Its nice but cookie cutter to me. The first level should have been on the 2nd or 3rd level. I don't like walking in on that level and its not the main level. Idk...i have older parents and making them go another level is a big deal for me.
Oh gosh no!....wrong neighborhood, too many windows, too much glass, first floor is a waste of space, and who wants to look at old houses off the balcony 🙄
Exactly. Annandale is not a good area. Ms-13 gang activity for sure. Surprise no mention of crimes
Great house for entertaining, but needs a lot of area rugs as open as it is. The main floor is too open. The sound echoing every where would be annoying. The bedrooms on the 2nd floor look forced in as an after thought. They are too small, and their closets are too small. The standalone bathtub in the primary suite looks like a pain to clean with the open space next to the wall. Would be nice to have doors in the primary suite to shut off the sitting area (i.e. dog house) from the sleeping area, or there would be a volume war with 2 tv's going at the same time.
@@GrannyGetYerFun i feel the same way about the bedrooms.
This is a beautiful home, but I do wonder about the mindset of developers. This reminds me of putting apartments building in the middle of an exclusive neighborhood. Who will push out who and where will the wall go?
I think from the outside it’s uuuugly. And, I don’t like that bottom entry. They should have built to closer match the rest of the neighborhood. This house sticks out too much. It looks awkward.
Great house, a bit too great in terms of price in comparison to the older homes. What would the new homes do for the property taxes of the older homes?
Love this house. I wonder if you ever felt like you have been in a house that was haunted
Overall nice home, but it gives me anxiety😂😂😂 It’s like they just developed these houses so close to each other. No privacy fences. Too many entries into the home. I would prefer the main suite on the main floor.
Wouldn't mind coming in on the lower level. But you didn't say the location. Looks like they going to build as the buy the modest family home out.
The lower level would be for a young person, finishing college. Saving money for their own property needing their own space for guests. The home is definitely for a larger family. The builder is possibly planning for the parents being able to stay in the property as they age, by having an elevator. I definitely feel that older homes need a lot of additions for families
I think the entry on the lower level is not going to be appalling to most buyers, the first impression factor is horrible
Coming into the basement should not be a problem since they have a elevator
It's a nice house. However, the 3rd level is a bit disappointing. I wish the 3rd level had more space.
I like walking into the lower level.
I was not real impressed. Looks cheaply done too much and spread out and NO WAY 2 mil
Merry Christmas. Happy Holidays. From the outside, the house looks nice, but I'm turned off because it's out of place in that neighborhood. I don't like the lack of privacy; those homes are awfully close. I love the elevator, but multiple dining/living spaces on the 2nd floor are a waste of space, in my opinion. I like the office, but she should have also put a bedroom on that floor. Oh no! Those closets in the master bedroom are unacceptable. I'd make the sitting room my closet/dressing/she room. I don't have a problem with the entrance placement.
Sorry, but I don't think the house has any warmth. It has an office building look to it.
No, I don’t like this house. I think it is overpriced and lacks character.
Why in the world would the "little lady" have a laundry in the basement anyway. Laundry is bed, bath and clothes...
The House layout is great. But for the lot, I'm not a fan.
HEY
The house is nice but wrong for this particular neighborhood. Homes like this belong in a new development, not an older established neighborhood, IMO. They look so out of place and will raised the property taxes on the older homes.
I don’t like this house.
Nice house but constant giggling is annoying
Jonathan. I like most of your videos; however, today your camera work is off. You are spinning the camera and moving too fast. You appeared to be in a hurry. Did not enjoy the presentation.
It anywhere near little river turnpike or Annandale high, its gonna be a problem
